Abstract

Global development from the 4.0 era to Society 5.0 requires an increase in the competence of human resources in using technology. The researcher intends to be able to trace the leadership role that the principal has in preparing the competencies of School Administration Staff according to the times to be able to improve their performance. This study uses qualitative research on literature studies whose data sources are in the form of articles, books, and relevant documents and then records and reviews the results of the data collection. The results of the study state that the leadership role of the principal has a function that is not only limited to the leader but also the manager. In implementing change, the principal must be visionary to bring organizational success by formulating the right strategy to improve School Administration Staff performance by taking advantage of opportunities arising from global changes.

Abstract

Character education can be implemented in the world of education through the school culture adopted. Therefore, this study aims to determine the role of school culture in shaping students' disciplinary character as preparation for entering the world of work. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The data collection technique used the interview method. There are research subjects including the Head of Student Affairs, Guardian Teachers, parents, and students who are determined based on the limitations of the research problem. the results concluded that: (1) SMK PGRI 3 Malang has a school culture as an effort to shape students' disciplinary character through programs, policies, behavior monitoring and evaluation of the achievement of students' disciplinary character building with the aim of preparing students to enter the world of work, (2) the role in shaping disciplinary character is carried out by all school residents and parents, (3) there are supporting factors in the form of teachers and employees becoming role models, support from guardian teachers who collaborate with parents, clear rules, extracurricular activities and available facilities and (4) there are inhibiting factors, namely student awareness, the environment outside the school and social media. Abstract

Effective leadership is vital in educational settings to foster a positive and productive school environment. Student-centered leadership, which emphasizes the needs, experiences, and voices of students in decision-making, is a key strategy for achieving this goal. This pilot study examines the effectiveness of student-centered leadership practices of the principal from the perspectives of students and teachers, focusing on key areas such as setting achievement targets, fostering high expectations, strategic resource planning, quality teaching practices, enhancing teacher competencies, and creating a conducive school environment. A quantitative survey method was employed, gathering responses from a total of 132 respondents, consisting of 96 students and 36 teachers, at Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integrasi Tun Abdul Razak, Pahang. The survey, consisting of 30 items, demonstrated high reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.97). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 29.0 with descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation. Results indicate a high perceived effectiveness of student-centered leadership practices, with mean scores above 3.63 across all domains. Despite these positive outcomes, ongoing refinement and adaptation of leadership practices are essential to ensure sustained educational success.

Abstract

Parenting children in the digital age has a profound influence on their character development and creativity. Millennials tend to use technology and the internet skillfully, and they often rely on online resources, especially social media, for parenting guidance. While technology can provide educational benefits, the use of the internet also poses challenges such as the spread of misinformation. Therefore, it is important for millennial parents to seek accurate and trustworthy information in educating their children. Character education is also increasingly important in building critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills in children. Early childhood character education supported by smart parenting can help instill positive traits and habits in children. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and the ADDIE model to create the AKSARA E-Book which aims to help millennial parents in Malang City in parenting for early childhood. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi membuat komunikasi dan informasi semakin mudah diakses, penggunaan internet dan telepon seluler yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah mental dan masalah fisik. Metode yang digunakan sytematic literature review. Tujuan sytematic literature review ini adalah untuk mengetahui evektivitas layanan konseling kontrak perilaku dalam menangani kecanduan internet. Artikel penelitian didapatkan dari dua database yaitu science direct dan google scholar. Pencarian literatur menggunakan kata kunci kecanduan internet dan konseling kontrak perilaku dengan kriteria inklusi artikel tahun publikasi 2020-2024, fulltext, dan subjek penelitian adalah remaja. Dari 247 artikel didapatkan 4 artikel yang direview karena memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan tujuan dari kajian literatur ini. Berdasarkan hasil review artikel, layanan konseling kontrak perilaku dinilai efektif dalam menangani kecanduan internet.

Abstract

The lesson of unit fraction and common denominator fraction on grade 4 of elemetary school is stilldificult to understand by the students. According to the observation done in SDN 3 SumbersariMalang, only 30% of the students could grasp the concept of unit fraction and commondenominator fraction proficiently. The lack of understanding of the lesson could be contributed tothe lack of learning media that could be use practically during the learning process. The objective ofthis research is to create a web-based educational game as a learning medium for students and toevaluate its validity and practicality. The research findings educational game that has been validatedand tested with the validity score of 96% by the content expert, 80% by the media expert and 91%valid by the teacher as well as the practicality percentage of 94% from the data obtain by thestudents as the user of the media. Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to explore the role of academic supervision carried out by school principals in an effort to improve the quality of education at SMK Negeri 1 Kepanjen. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a case study at SMK Negeri 1 Kepanjen. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, and teachers, and analysis of relevant documents. The research results showed that the school principal carried out academic supervision through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage included determining the objectives of coaching, scheduling, and the preparation of implementation plans by each teacher. The implementation of academic supervision consisted of regular supervision outside the classroom and clinical supervision within the classroom. Clinical supervision involved direct observation of classroom learning, followed by providing feedback and solutions to the identified weaknesses. Evaluation was carried out to determine the success of supervision and follow-up actions to improve teachers' skills. The findings indicated that academic supervision by the school principal played an important role in improving the quality of education. Effective supervisory practices included providing guidance, mentoring, and examples of teaching, as well as creating a collaborative culture within the school environment. However, challenges faced included the workload of the principal and resistance from some teachers. The research emphasized the importance of strong leadership, commitment, and interpersonal skills of the principal in facilitating quality academic supervision to achieve sustainable improvement in the quality of education. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran supervisi akademik yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMK Negeri 1 Kepanjen. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kasus di SMK Negeri 1 Kepanjen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah melaksanakan supervisi akademik melalui tiga tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap perencanaan meliputi penentuan tujuan pembinaan, pembuatan jadwal, dan penyusunan rencana pelaksanaan oleh masing-masing guru. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik terdiri dari supervisi reguler di luar kelas dan supervisi klinis di dalam kelas. Supervisi klinis melibatkan observasi langsung pembelajaran di kelas, diikuti dengan pemberian umpan balik dan solusi atas kelemahan yang ditemukan. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan supervisi dan tindak lanjut untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Praktik supervisi yang efektif meliputi pemberian arahan, bimbingan, dan contoh pembelajaran, serta menciptakan budaya kolaboratif di lingkungan sekolah. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi antara lain beban kerja kepala sekolah dan resistensi dari sebagian guru. Penelitian menekankan pentingnya kepemimpinan yang kuat, komitmen, dan keterampilan interpersonal kepala sekolah dalam memfasilitasi supervisi akademik berkualitas untuk mencapai peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of technical entrepreneurship training on the entrepreneurial abilities of training participants at the UPT PTKS Malang institution. The approach used in this research is quantitative. This research used a population of 40 participants and a sample of 30 training participants. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis. This research found that t count > t table, namely 0,020 which is significantly smaller than 0.005, namely (0.000 < 0.005) entrepreneurial technical training has a significant influence on entrepreneurial ability of 38,4% and the remaining is influenced by other variables. Suggestions based on the results of the analysis that have been carried out, it can be seen that technical entrepreneurship training has affected the entrepreneurial abilities of training participants at the UPT PTKS Malang institution, but the influence of the training variable has not reached 50%, therefore it is necessary to increase improvements in terms of training intensity and quality of training so that the program Entrepreneurship training is able to influence the entrepreneurial abilities of training participants at the UPT PTKS Malang institution to a greater extent than before.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the formation of protective mechanisms in the personality in adolescence. In this study, an observation method was used - with the help of this method, the daily educational activities of students were systematically monitored, and the information collected was recorded in a special diary as well as psychological tests: the methodology for determining the protective mechanism of personality (developed by the cheat),а questionnaire to determine the nature of subjective local control (developed by S.R.Panteleev, V.V.Stolin), determination of the nature of personality aggressiveness by the Bass-Darky method. This study was conducted to obtain accurate data, the data collected on the basis of the studied literature and the results of the conducted research contributed to the identification of protective mechanisms in the personality of a teenager. Also, the generalization and systematization of sources obtained from experimental work on personal protection mechanisms contributes to the improvement of the younger generation, who are brought up in educational institutions, as a necessary member of society. Based on this, teenagers can be effective tools in solving various problematic situations, the ability to rationally get out of them. The findings can be widely used in their work by practical psychologists, parents and employees of an educational institution. the relationship between the two variables. The results showed that the occurrence of aggressive states in adolescence may be associated with emotional states in them. Because if we look at the situation based on the psychological characteristics of adolescence, this period is the most dynamic in personal maturation, saturated with emotions and determined by the power of aggression. Therefore, it is necessary to form emotional management skills in the personality of a teenager. And this, in turn, will help to avoid various aggressive situations that arise in the personality of a teenager.
