Abstract

The era of moral crisis creates anxiety in society and must be addressed immediately, one of which is through moral education. The head of MI Islamiyah Wonoplintahan has implemented the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) religious culture with a spiritual leadership style to provide moral education to madrasah residents, especially students, so that they have good morals. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show the following results: (1) the head of the madrasah has the characteristics of leading with heart, humble, free and empowering, disciplined, respected by those he leads, his work is relaxed and serving, fair, tolerant, spirit of good deeds and honesty; (2) the forms of NU religious culture at MI Islamiyah Wonoplinlahan Sidoarjo, namely istighosah, tahlil, pilgrimage, morning reading of nadhoman books written by NU ulama, Friday blessings on Friday Legi, banjari prayers, dhikr/praise together out loud, and Celebration of Islamic Holidays (PHBI) NU theme; (3) the head of the madrasah in implementing NU religious culture has an important role, namely creating programs, motivating, being an example, and collaborating with student parents and the NU community; (4) the application of NU religious culture with spiritual leadership carried out by the head of the madrasah has the impact of fostering a sense of caring and mutual respect in the madrasah environment, students' attitudes are getting better and Students have memorized the Al-Qur’an and the book, the work ethic and performance of employees is increasing, the response is good from student parents, and and have an impact on the progress of madrasah. Abstract

Instructional media serve as a means of communication in print or audiovisual form. This has also been evidenced in the results of interviews and observations conducted by the researchers, which show that students feel bored and appear passive when learning using PowerPoint presentations or lectures. Hence, one of the solutions offered by the researchers is to use game media. One of the games that can be used as a medium to train critical thinking is the Mafia game. This research aims to develop a prototype medium by modifying the Mafia game to enhance students' critical thinking, making the teaching and learning process both beneficial and enjoyable. This research is a development study employing the Research and Development (R&D) method. The process of creating the Mafia game media involves several stages of research and development following the Borg & Gall (1983) model. The research began with a needs analysis of the instructional media used by teachers. In the planning stage, activities included compiling materials and designing game cards. In the product development stage, the researchers printed a total of 30 game cards (4 Mafia, 3 Doctor, and 23 Citizen). Future recommendations from this research and development include testing the product's accessibility with potential users.

Abstract

Mewujudkan karakter peserta didik unggul pada jenjang pendidikan dasar memiliki kedudukan strategis dalam memicu pembentukan tonggak fundamental dalam hal sifat dan sikap peserta didik. Untuk mewujudkannya, diperlukan strategi dan bentuk kemitraan yang efektif dan efisien antara sekolah dan orang tua. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengungkap strategi, bentuk, dampak, faktor pendukung dan kendala pada kemitraan sekolah dan orang tua dalam mewujudkan karakter peserta didik unggul. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif teknik studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, ketua komite, koordinator bidang, wali kelas, orang tua, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi kegiatan, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dicek melalui kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program kemitraan sekolah dan orang tua di SD Laboratorium UM telah dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mewujudkan karakter peserta didik unggul yang ingin dibentuk bersama melalui strategi yang direncanakan dengan efektif dan efisien untuk melaksanakan bentuk program kemitraan yang unggul.

Abstract

Evaluation of the Implementation of the Industrial Work Practice Program (Prakerin) for Alfamidi Class Students at SMK Negeri 1 Malang is a comprehensive program evaluation of Reaction to assess student satisfaction, Learning to assess students' mastery of knowledge of the material, Behavior, industrial colleagues' assessment of student attitudes, and the final results of student achievements. on student competencies determined by industry and schools. Evaluation from various aspects provides an assessment that represents each important element in a program. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods, the data obtained is data that describes actual phenomena in the field. The data in this research were obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to 63 student respondents, and 35 industrial supervisors for each shop, as well as 2 teacher supervisors. Data from these aspects obtained on average is classified as very good. Although in this study there were also 12% of the sample classified

Abstract

Abstract Improving the quality of education is one of the triggers for a strategy in management to improve the quality and strength of school. Every school must have a desire to compete so as to obtain quality school quality quality that can be seen as good by the wider community. Total Quality Management (TQM) is a management concept that helps an organization to improve quality. In this article, the aim is to finf out school management in improving the quality of education in schools includes: (1) Programs that can improve the quality of schools; (2) Planning programs that can improve the quality of education in schools; (3) Implementation of school programs that can improve school quality management; (4) Evaluation of programs in improving the quality of education in schools. UM Laboratorium Middle School has various excellent programs that bridge schools to high quality educational institutions. One of these programs is the Creativity Event (JANGTAS). In this article using the research method is a qualitative research type where research data is obtained through observation and interviews as well as various other literature as a basis for conducting research. It is hoped that the planned program can improve the quality and qualitu of education in schools. Abstrak Peningkatan mutu pendidikan merupakan salah satu pemicu adanya strategi dalam manajemen untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kekuatan pada sekolah. Setiap sekolah pasti memiliki keinginan dalam bersaing sehingga memperoleh kualitas mutu sekolah yang dapat dipandang baik oleh masyarakat luas. Total Quality Management (TQM) merupakan konsep manajemen yang membantu dalam sebuah organisasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas. Dalam artikel ini memiliki tujuan dalam mengetahui manajemen sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang ada di sekolah meliputi: (1) Program yang dapat meningkatkan mutu sekolah; (2) Perencanaan program yang dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah; (3) Pelaksanaan program sekolah yang dapat meningkatkan manajemen mutu sekolah; (4) Evaluasi program dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. SMP Laboratorium UM memiliki berbagai program unggulan yang menjembatani sekolah menuju lembaga pendidikan yang bermutu tinggi. Salah satu program tersebut yaitu Ajang Kreativitas (JANGTAS). Dalam artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dimana data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara serta berbagai literatur lain sebagai landasan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian. Diharapkan dalam program yang telah direncanakan dapat meningkatkan kualitas serta mutu pendidikan pada sekolah.

Abstract

The study aims to understand the role of counselors in reducing the habit of mobile phone usage among 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Tulungagung. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews and observations. The subjects of this study are counselors and several 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Tulungagung. The results indicate that mobile phone usage habits among students impact their self-awareness, decrease their motivation to learn, and reduce their empathy. In addressing this issue, counselors play a role by providing informational services, classical guidance services on appropriate mobile phone usage, and counseling services. Additionally, home visits and parent or guardian meetings are conducted as follow-up measures for students. Counselors at SMA Negeri 1 Tulungagung also perform referrals for cases of students who are severely addicted to their mobile phones. Abstract

Cooperative learning is crucial in today’s educational environment because the focus has shifted from teacher-centered to student-centered learning. A student-centered approach allows learners to gain experiences that help them retain information for a longer period. One model that is based on cooperative learning is the Guest Teacher Assistant Model. This model was developed by combining the TAI and TS-TS models, with the goal of helping students better understand the material. The steps in the Guest Teacher Assistant Model include forming heterogeneous groups of four, teacher-led material guidance, and having high-achieving students (acting as teacher assistants) assist their group members in understanding the material. Then, students visit other groups, with one member staying behind to act as the host, and share information by exchanging ideas, discussing, and sharing insights. After that, students return to their original groups for further discussion, write a group report, receive group recognition, and end with reflection.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of writing articles is to explain and understand the application of the independent curriculum to accountability for increasing student knowledge so that the existence of an independent curriculum can improve increasingly advanced human resources. This research uses qualitative research methods with research locations at SMP Brawijaya Malang and utilizes various sources of information in the form of journals, and articles used to find information about the application of the independent curriculum to accountability for increasing student knowledge. The results of this study explain that the learning process by implementing the independent curriculum at SMP Brawijaya runs well provided by schools and teachers starting from infrastructure, teacher freedom in carrying out the student assessment process, implementing remidial programs, interaction between students and teachers, habituating literacy in SMP Brawijaya, and implementing the learning process with an independent curriculum. This has an impact on increasing the knowledge of students at SMP Brawiyaja Malang City. Through an independent curriculum that is well facilitated by the school, SMP Brawiyaja students have high critical thinking and good social spirit.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the development of local content education for disasters. Disaster risk reduction must be developed through various strategies, including formal education, as early as possible. This article was written using the literature review method. Researchers collect data from literature and documents from various literary sources such as Government regulations, relevant articles, and books. Data analysis with qualitative descriptive. The data are presented qualitatively based on the study focus pattern. This study focuses on expected disaster education, local content and disaster education, development of disaster local content education, and implementation strategies of disaster local content education. Disaster education should ideally be implemented as early as possible, starting the first formal education in elementary school. The position of local content opens up opportunities for disaster education in elementary schools through the uniqueness of the region. The development of local content of disaster education contains: education environmental insight, disaster risk reduction education programs, and disaster moral response. The five steps of the implementation strategy are curriculum development, teacher training, limited trials, extensive trials, and evaluations. Eventually, the development of local content of disaster education has the potential to develop students' resilience to disasters.
