Abstract

The application of the going concern principle within Indonesia's bankruptcy law system is a crucial legal protection mechanism for debtors facing financial difficulties. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the going concern principle as a form of legal protection for debtors in the bankruptcy process in Indonesia. This research employs a normative juridical method with a statutory approach and case study analysis. The results indicate that the going concern principle is implemented through the Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) mechanism, as regulated in Law No. 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and PKPU. The findings show that although the going concern principle provides significant protection for debtors by offering an alternative to liquidation, its implementation faces several challenges, including creditor resistance, resource limitations, and regulatory gaps. The study concludes that the going concern principle is effective in balancing the interests of debtors and creditors, though improvements in the regulatory framework and implementation capacity are needed to enhance its effectiveness in protecting debtors' rights while maintaining creditor confidence.

Abstract

This research employs a Mixed-method Sequential Explanatory design. It aims to investigate the extent of the relationship between learning motivation and science literacy, and to identify other influencing factors. The study was conducted from February to April 2025. The population for this research was all 11th-grade science students in public high schools across Cileungsi District during the 2024/2025 academic year. Sampling was conducted using a Proportional Random Sampling technique based on Slovin's formula. Quantitative research data were collected using questionnaires with a rating scale for the learning motivation variable and science literacy tests referencing PISA frameworks. Qualitative research data were gathered through observation and interviews. Instrument validity was tested using the Product Moment Person formula, and instrument reliability was assessed using Cronbach's Alpha formula. Quantitative data analysis involved descriptive statistics and prerequisite tests, including Liliefors' test for normality and Bartlett's test for homogeneity. Qualitative data analysis followed the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Hypothesis testing was performed using the Product Moment Person correlation test with the aid of SPSS. The research findings indicate a positive relationship between learning motivation and science literacy. Therefore, learning motivation is one of the factors influencing the enhancement of science literacy. Other contributing factors identified include: family factors, facilities and infrastructure, learning styles, and economic factors.

The research procedure was carried out through three cycles: Cycle I focused on Kepler's Laws with the product being teaching aids; Cycle II focused on Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation with the product being posters; and Cycle III focused on the Law of Conservation of Momentum with the product being modified simple water rockets. The subjects of this research were 25 students. The object of this study was student creativity using the Project-Based Learning model. Data collection techniques included observation and documentation. The research results indicate that Cycle I, Cycle II, and Cycle III showed an increase in product, project, creativity, and student learning outcomes. This is evident from the qualitative descriptive data analysis of the learning process from Cycle I to Cycle III. Furthermore, the quality of the increase in student creativity was analyzed using percentages. In Cycle I, product achievement was 68.89%, project achievement was 74.44%, and creativity was 72%. In Cycle II, these increased to 80% for products, 88.9% for projects, and 88% for creativity. Subsequently, Cycle III showed a further increase, reaching 95.5% for products, 91.67% for projects, and 95% for creativity, placing it in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji konsep dan praktik yudisial terkait pembuktian sederhana dalam perkara kepailitan dan Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang (PKPU) berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 37 Tahun 2004 tentang Kepailitan dan Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang di Indonesia. Pembuktian sederhana merupakan syarat formil untuk dikabulkannya permohonan pailit atau PKPU, yang dapat dipenuhi dengan membuktikan adanya sedikitnya dua kreditur dan satu utang yang telah jatuh tempo dan dapat ditagih. Namun, dalam praktiknya, interpretasi dan penerapan syarat ini sangat bervariasi antar pengadilan niaga, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakpastian hukum dan inkonsistensi putusan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan hukum normatif yang dikombinasikan dengan studi kasus khususnya putusan dari Pengadilan Niaga Jakarta dan Surabayatulisan ini menganalisis apakah prinsip pembuktian sederhana diterapkan secara konsisten dan adil. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ketiadaan parameter hukum yang jelas telah menciptakan kekosongan hukum yang membuka peluang bagi interpretasi yang tidak seragam dan potensi penyalahgunaan proses oleh kreditur yang bertindak dengan itikad buruk. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menekankan perlunya reformulasi konsep pembuktian sederhana, termasuk definisi normatif yang lebih tegas serta pedoman teknis dari Mahkamah Agung guna menjamin kepastian hukum, mencegah penyalahgunaan prosedur, dan menegakkan keadilan bagi semua pihak yang terlibat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students' analytical thinking skills in mathematics. The research method employed was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population consisted of eighth-grade students at MTs Darul Iman Pandeglang, with a sample of 60 students divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each comprising 30 students. Research instruments included an analytical thinking skills test, observation sheets, and a student response questionnaire. Data were analyzed using an independent samples t-test and N-Gain analysis. The results indicated that the application of the PBL model significantly enhanced students' analytical thinking skills, with a calculated t-value of 3.847 > t-table of 2.045 at a significance level of 0.05. The improvement in the experimental group's analytical thinking skills yielded an N-Gain score of 0.72, categorized as high, whereas the control group obtained an N-Gain score of 0.31, categorized as moderate. Student responses to the PBL model were positive, with a percentage of 82.3%. Thus, the PBL model is proven effective in enhancing students' analytical thinking skills in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the Discovery Learning model in enhancing the analytical skills and physics learning outcomes of junior high school students. The nature of physics education, which demands higher-order thinking skills, requires a more exploratory and student-centered learning approach. This quasi-experimental research, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design, involved 64 eighth-grade students divided into an experimental and a control group. Research instruments included an analytical skills test, a physics learning outcomes test, an observation sheet, and a student response questionnaire. Data were analyzed using t-tests, MANOVA, and correlation analysis. The results indicated that the application of Discovery Learning significantly improved students' analytical skills, with an N-Gain score of 0.74 (high category), compared to conventional learning, which yielded an N-Gain score of 0.42 (medium category). Physics learning outcomes also showed a significant increase, with an N-Gain of 0.68 in the experimental group versus 0.39 in the control group. A strong positive correlation (r=0.76) was found between analytical skills and physics learning outcomes. In conclusion, Discovery Learning is proven to be effective in developing analytical thinking skills and improving the conceptual understanding of physics among junior high school students.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an Android-based interactive learning medium to enhance the mathematical concept understanding of junior high school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, encompassing the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of three expert validators (content, media, and language) and 30 eighth-grade junior high school students for a trial to test its effectiveness. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and a test of mathematical concept understanding. The expert validation results indicated that the application was feasible for use, with percentages of 85.4% (content expert), 87.2% (media expert), and 83.6% (language expert). The effectiveness test, using a pretest-posttest design, demonstrated a significant increase in mathematical concept understanding with an N-Gain score of 0.73 (high category). Student responses showed that 89.3% found the application easy to use, 91.7% found it engaging, and 88.6% found it beneficial for learning. The Android-based interactive learning medium was proven effective in enhancing the mathematical concept understanding of junior high school students and can be recommended as a modern learning alternative.

Abstract

In the context of increasingly complex global changes and technological disruption, educational leadership faces strategic challenges that necessitate a multidimensional approach. This research aims to examine various educational leadership models through a multidisciplinary qualitative approach and a literature review of 45 national and international references. Thematic analysis was employed to identify leadership patterns, values, and strategies relevant to the era of disruption. The findings reveal ten thematic leadership categories consolidated into four main pillars: leadership styles, transformation strategies, educational quality, and responses to disruption. The results indicate that transformational, visionary, adaptive, and inclusive leadership styles are instrumental in enhancing the effectiveness of educational institutions. Furthermore, digital, instructional, and spirituality-based leadership enrich the ethical and innovative dimensions of institutional governance. The conclusion affirms the importance of synthesizing classical and contemporary approaches, as well as the need to develop contextual leadership models that are integrative and grounded in local wisdom. This study contributes to the development of leadership theory and practice that is reflective, collaborative, and responsive to the educational challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) as an innovative strategy for enhancing the quality of sustainable education in the digital transformation era. The background of this study is predicated on the need for educational institutions to manage quality in a more structured, reflective, and adaptive manner in response to change. This study employs an exploratory qualitative approach with a multiple case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies at two high schools with different institutional characteristics. The findings indicate that the BSC can serve as an effective strategic management tool, incorporating five complementary perspectives: stakeholders, internal processes, learning and growth, financial, and strategic sustainability. The application of the BSC was shown to improve governance efficiency, strengthen a reflective culture, and align school strategies with national policies such as Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) and the objectives of SDG 4. The conclusion of this research affirms that the BSC is not merely a technical measurement tool, but also a reflective framework capable of fostering a more adaptive, participatory, and sustainable education system.

Abstract

In addressing the challenges of Industry 5.0, the education system is compelled to undergo a fundamental transformation through a comprehensive, adaptive, and humanistic quality management approach. This research aims to explore strategies for quality management transformation and educational standardization in the digital era based on the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM), with a focus on leadership, adaptive curriculum, and quality assurance systems to foster learning organizations. Employing a multidisciplinary qualitative approach and a multiple case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and subsequently validated via member checking. The findings indicate that the eight TQM principles are implemented contextually with varying degrees of effectiveness. Schools that apply transformative leadership, technology integration, and active collaboration with the business and industry sector are demonstrably better prepared to become Industry 5.0-based learning organizations. In conclusion, the success of educational transformation hinges on the synergy among leadership, organizational culture, and a quality system that is responsive to change. This study offers theoretical and practical contributions to the formulation of sustainable and contextually relevant strategies for enhancing educational quality.
