Abstract

This research aims to design, develop, and assess the feasibility of a practicum module as a guide for laboratory activities using a scientific approach, enhanced with a QR code feature for the topic of electromagnetism. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4-D development model approach. Data analysis was conducted descriptively by calculating the percentage of validation results from experts. The validation results showed that the module obtained an average score of 87% from the subject matter expert, 90% from the media expert, and 80% from the language expert. These findings indicate that the scientific-based practicum module integrated with QR codes is in the "good" category and is feasible for implementation in school learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a digital technology-based mathematics learning model to enhance students' critical thinking skills in the Society 5.0 era. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, encompassing the stages of needs analysis, model design, prototype development, expert validation, limited trials, and revision. The research subjects were 120 eighth-grade junior high school students from three different schools. The developed learning model integrates digital technologies such as GeoGebra, Kahoot, and online learning platforms with a problem-based learning approach. The expert validation results indicated that the learning model is highly valid, with an average score of 4.2 out of 5. The limited trials revealed a 68% increase in students' critical thinking skills, with a gain score of 0.72 (high category). Student and teacher responses to the learning model showed satisfaction levels of 85% and 92%, respectively. The learning model is proven effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills through the integration of digital technology that aligns with the characteristics of digital natives in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze how compensation and the work environment affect employee performance at an electricity company in Batam. Employee performance (Y) was the dependent variable, while compensation (X1) and the work environment (X2) were the independent variables. The study included all 83 employees of the electricity company in Batam. Saturated sampling (total sampling) was used, meaning the entire population was included as the sample. A descriptive and quantitative research approach was used. For data analysis, the SEM-PLS method was employed, utilizing the SmartPLS program. The results indicated that both compensation and the work environment had a significant and positive effect on employee performance at the electricity company in Batam.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and identify the influence of parents' income and education level on the interest of twelfth-grade students at SMA Muhammadiyah Singaparna in continuing their studies to higher education. The research method used is an explanatory design. The sampling technique was saturated sampling, resulting in 97 respondents. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire, and the data analysis techniques included the normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination (R²) test, t-test, and F-test. The results showed that: 1) There is an influence of income on the interest in continuing studies to higher education, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. 2) There is an influence of the parents' education level on the interest in continuing studies to higher education, with a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05. 3) There is a simultaneous influence of parents' income and education level on the interest in continuing studies to higher education, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Individual Characteristics and Job Characteristics on Job Satisfaction of SPBE employees at PT Elnusa Petrofin Bima. The method used is quantitative research with an associative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and distribution of questionnaires to the entire population of 39 employees, using a saturated sampling technique. The results of the t-test indicate that Individual Characteristics have no significant effect on Job Satisfaction, while Job Characteristics have a significant effect. The results of the F-test indicate that Individual Characteristics and Job Characteristics simultaneously have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. The results of this study recommend that companies focus more on managing job characteristics in order to improve employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work environment on the performance of millennial generation employees in Dompu Regency. The research instrument used a Likert scale questionnaire. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling to obtain a sample of 96 respondents using the Lemeshow formula. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. Analysis used multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that both partially and simultaneously, work motivation and work environment have a significant effect on the performance of millennial generation employees in Dompu Regency.

Abstract

Efforts to achieve organizational goals can be made by maintaining employee morale. High morale, characterized by enthusiasm in carrying out tasks, is influenced by various factors, including the work environment. This study aims to determine the influence of the work environment on the morale of employees at the Ambalawi District Head's Office, Bima. The research method used is associative research with a quantitative approach. The object of the research is the work environment as the independent variable and work morale as the dependent variable, with the research subjects being the employees at the Ambalawi District Head's Office, Bima. The research population consisted of 70 people, and a sample of 54 respondents was selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, Likert scale questionnaires, and literature review. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that the work environment has a significant influence on the morale of employees at the Ambalawi District Head's Office, Bima. The coefficient of determination indicates that the work environment affects morale by 69.5%, while the remainder is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on the mathematical creative thinking ability of seventh-grade junior high school students. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a Randomized Control Group Only Design. The study population comprised all seventh-grade students at SMPN 20 Jakarta, with a sample of 56 students consisting of 28 students in the experimental group (Reciprocal Teaching model) and 28 students in the control group (conventional model). The research instrument was an essay test on mathematical creative thinking ability regarding the topic of triangles, consisting of 8 questions. The data were analyzed using a t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that the average creative thinking ability of the experimental group (78.464) was higher than that of the control group (73.428). The hypothesis test yielded tcalculated​ = 2.072 > ttable​ = 2.007, leading to the rejection of H0 and the acceptance of H1. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking ability.

Abstract

Globalization is a process that integrates individuals as citizens of the world. Developing awareness in interacting and communicating among various ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds has become an essential need for every individual. This needs to be realized through an educational framework oriented towards global and multicultural realities to wisely face differences and the dynamics of life. This article aims to examine the concept of global education as a systematic effort to build students' awareness of their connection to global phenomena, as well as to analyze multicultural education as a means of fostering understanding and respect for cultural, racial, ethnic, and religious diversity. The method used is qualitative literature review with a comprehensive analysis of relevant studies. The results of the study indicate that the focus of global and multicultural education includes self-awareness as part of an interconnected world society, an egalitarian attitude towards proportional gender equality, respect for human values, and an awareness of the importance of religious moderation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of high school students on the topic of quadratic functions. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population consisted of eleventh-grade high school students, with a sample of 60 students divided into two groups: an experimental group of 30 students (PBL) and a control group of 30 students (conventional learning). The research instrument was a validated mathematical problem-solving ability test based on Polya's indicators. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test and Cohen's d effect size.
