Abstract

This research is motivated by the low academic performance of students in the Economics subject in the 11th grade at SMAN 1 Singaparna. This study aims to determine the effect of technology utilization, classroom climate, and task commitment on students' learning outcomes. The use of technology referred to in this study is Gadgets. This research falls under quantitative research using survey methods and explanatory design. The population in this study consists of all 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Singaparna for the 2024/2025 academic year who are studying economics, totaling 215 students. The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling technique, so the entire population was made the sample in the study. Data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 27. The research results show that there is a positive and significant influence between the utilization of technology, classroom climate, and task commitment on student learning outcomes, both partially and simultaneously. Furthermore, these three variables simultaneously affect learning outcomes with an F_calculated value greater than the F_table value, specifically F_calculated 163.5 > 2.65, indicating a strong and significant relationship. The conclusion of this study is that the utilization of technology, classroom climate, and task commitment collectively influence students' learning outcomes in Economics at SMAN 1 Singaparna.

Abstract

Contemporary education demands a shift from surface learning to deep learning, which focuses on conceptual understanding and critical thinking. In Indonesia, the Kurikulum Merdeka (Merdeka Curriculum) has been introduced as a new framework that philosophically aligns with this objective. This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the Merdeka Curriculum framework as a vehicle for achieving deep learning among elementary school students. The method employed is a literature review, analyzing secondary data from scientific journals, government policy documents, and other relevant literature. The data is analyzed qualitatively to identify convergences and potential gaps. The results of the analysis indicate a strong alignment between the two concepts. Specifically, (1) Differentiated Learning within the Merdeka Curriculum directly facilitates the attainment of conceptual understanding; (2) the Project to Strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) serves as an effective arena for developing the core competencies of deep learning (the 6Cs); and (3) the emphasis on formative assessment promotes the development of students' metacognitive skills. Nevertheless, a major critical point is identified at the implementation level, where the success of this transformation is highly dependent on the capacity and pedagogical understanding of teachers. It is concluded that the Merdeka Curriculum holds significant potential as a vehicle for deep learning, yet it requires support through professional development for teachers that focuses on strengthening higher-order cognitive learning strategies.

Abstract

Contemporary education at the elementary school level faces the dual demands of creating inclusive learning environments while fostering deep learning. This literature review aims to comparatively analyze two primary pedagogical strategies: Differentiated Instruction (DI) within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum and the Inquiry-Based Approach (IBA) as a vehicle for deep learning. Through a systematic analysis of relevant academic literature, this study maps the theoretical foundations, implementation models, and fundamental similarities and differences between the two approaches. The findings indicate that DI focuses on equitable access by responding to student diversity, whereas IBA concentrates on the depth of understanding through investigative processes. It was found that these two strategies are not mutually exclusive but are, in fact, complementary. The primary synthesis recommends an integrated model where IBA is used as a macro-framework, and the principles of DI are implemented as micro-strategies within each phase to create an adaptive, challenging, and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving ability is a crucial competency that senior high school students must master, yet many students still face difficulties. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of senior high school students. The study employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 64 eleventh-grade students, divided into an experimental group (n=32) that implemented the STAD model and a control group (n=32) that used conventional learning. The research instrument was a validated mathematical problem-solving ability test. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in problem-solving ability compared to the control group (p < 0.05), with an effect size of 0.78. This finding indicates that the STAD learning model is effective in enhancing the mathematical problem-solving ability of senior high school students, particularly in the aspects of understanding the problem and planning a solution strategy. The implication of this research offers an alternative solution for mathematics teachers to implement the STAD type of cooperative learning to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Reading, Questioning, and Answering (RQA) learning model on the motivation and science learning achievement of junior high school students, as well as to analyze the relationship between motivation and learning achievement. Abstract

Chemistry learning in high school is still dominated by conventional approaches that inadequately develop creative thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a project-based scientific approach on the creative thinking skills and chemistry problem-solving ability of senior high school students. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group that implemented the project-based scientific approach and a control group that used conventional learning. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical concept understanding of seventh-grade students at SMPS Amal Mulia 2 Cileungsi on the topic of integer arithmetic operations. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, written tests, and interviews. The results indicate that the majority of students face difficulties in understanding basic concepts, particularly regarding the operation of positive and negative signs and problem-solving strategies. This difficulty is reflected in the students' low ability to re-explain concepts and solve problems that require inter-conceptual connections. Factors causing this low concept understanding include a lack of active student engagement, conventional teaching methods, and the minimal use of contextual learning media. Therefore, a more innovative and interactive learning approach is needed to improve students' mathematical concept understanding comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) learning model in enhancing the understanding of biology concepts among senior high school students. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population comprised eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta, with a sample of 64 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data on concept understanding were collected using a reasoned multiple-choice test and were analyzed using an independent samples t-test and N-gain scores. The results showed that the application of the REACT model significantly improved students' understanding of biology concepts, yielding an N-gain score of 0.71 (high category), compared to conventional learning, which resulted in an N-gain score of 0.32 (medium category). The cooperating and transferring stages of the REACT model proved to be the most effective in helping students build a comprehensive understanding of the concepts. The study concludes that the REACT model is effective in enhancing students' understanding of biology concepts because it facilitates contextual and collaborative learning experiences and encourages students to transfer knowledge to new situations.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the mathematics learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of junior high school students. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 64 eighth-grade students from a public junior high school in Cianjur, divided into an experimental class (n=32) that received instruction with the PBL model and a control class (n=32) that received conventional instruction. Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven the global economic transformation towards a digital economy, including in Indonesia. A tangible manifestation of this phenomenon is the emergence of online ride-hailing services like Gojek, which utilize digital platforms to connect service providers with consumers while simultaneously creating new job opportunities through a partnership system. This research aims to examine the work dynamics and industrial relations policies between the company and its Gojek driver-partners within the context of the gig economy. The method employed is a literature review, analyzing various academic sources related to digital labor relations. The findings indicate that while flexible working hours are a primary advantage of Gojek's work system, it also presents serious challenges, such as income uncertainty, a lack of social security, and the absence of formal legal protection for driver-partners. Work policies implemented unilaterally through the application reflect a power imbalance in the relationship between the company and its partners. Therefore, fairer, more transparent, and participatory policies are required to create a sustainable and equitable working relationship in the era of the digital economy.
