Abstract

Current developments that continue to advance force us to develop Islamic educational theories in the learning process. In the philosophy of Islamic religious education, there are three main streams, namely the conservative religious, rational religious, and instrumental pragmatic schools. This article examines the study of the theory of Islamic religious education through this school, with the main figures from the three streams above, namely using a library research to find data from several sources and literature which is prioritized implicitly and specifically. The results of the study show that a philosophical approach produces several aspects, starting from the concept of teaching and learning. The process of learning from psychological foundations, namely the methods used must be equally active in fighting for both individually and in groups. From these main streams, the first is a conservative religious school which is only applied in the environment of Islamic religious teachings, which was pioneered by Imam Ghazali, then Al-Aqliy or Rational Religious Akhwa Al-Shofa, who is the main character, believes that all learning in scientific disciplines is very important. it is important to adhere to and study it, then finally the flow pioneered by Ibnu Kholdun, namely the instrumental pragmatic school which holds that education is not only limited to ukhrowi between worldly and ukhrowi must be fought for and studied in depth, through Islamic education everything can be obtained optimally.

Abstract

Conflict is an inseparable part of human life. When conflict is seen as a lesson, the conflict will become a force for progress. Not all conflicts in Islamic education institutions are detrimental. Many existing conflicts have beneficial influences and impacts if appropriately managed. If a conflict occurs in an Islamic educational institution, then this can be a lesson from his mistakes and bring good afterward. However, the conflict will also be a weakness that can cause stress, division, and even hostility. This research discusses the urgency of conflict management in improving the quality of Islamic Education Institutions using the literature study research method. This method analyzes books, journals, magazines, and articles related to the problem and research objectives. Data collection techniques are carried out by researchers with editing, organizing, and finding. The study results show that conflict management in Islamic educational institutions is the ability to control conflicts that require specific management skills. In Islam, conflict is not a goal, but a means to unite conflicting things and liberate human life from individual interests and vices so they can be brought to the right path. Thus, conflict management is essential to achieve goals and improve the quality of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Indonesian education at this time has experienced a great shift from education that is oriented towards individual scientific capabilities to education that is oriented towards industrial needs. This shift occurred due to changes in the global market share which is increasingly fixated on industrial machines so that these ideas and thoughts develop in the national education ministry. As a result, the spirit of education in Indonesia is experiencing a void because the orientation and mindset that is currently being carried out is based on industrial needs. Seeing this condition, we as Muslims should realize the impact that arises from this industry-based education that is not supported by an understanding of the socio-religious approach and the religio-scientific approach. So it is not wrong if we re-read Kuntowijoyo's thoughts on prophetic social science as an alternative way of developing education based on a prophetic approach. So that Indonesian education does not only talk about industrial needs but also realizes how important the prophetic approach offered by Kuntowijoyo is as a driving force for educational development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by unscrupulous teachers who do not behave in accordance with existing provisions. Imam Nawawi as one of the figures poured his ideas into the book Adabul 'alim Wal Muta'allim. The book contains six points of education which indirectly reveal the adab that a teacher and student must have. This study aims to find out how the teacher's etiquette towards himself, the teacher's etiquette in teaching in the book Adabul 'alim wal Muta'allim and its relevance to the code of ethics for teachers in Indonesia. This type of research is library research with data collection techniques for collecting documents in the form of books, notes and journals that discuss the thoughts of Imam Nawawi and the etiquette of teachers in Indonesia. Based on the research conducted, it is known that Imam Nawawi's thoughts about teacher etiquette are not expressed directly about the teacher's code of ethics but only contain explanations about education. The teacher's code of ethics according to Imam Nawawi which is discussed in this study, namely: first, the teacher's etiquette towards himself. Second, the teacher's manners in teaching. After examining the teacher's etiquette, according to Imam Nawawi's thoughts in the book Adabul 'alim wal Muta'allim, it has similarities with the teacher's code of ethics in Indonesia. Textually the words are not the same, but substantially they are similar. According to Imam Nawawi, the concept of teacher etiquette is more religious than the Indonesian code of ethics. The Indonesian teacher's code of ethics is indeed not based on Islam but still uses religious terms, so that teacher etiquette according to Imam Nawawi does not contradict the Indonesian teacher's code of ethics.

Conversely, science should also consider Islamic values in the development of technology and its applications. In addition, the integration of Islam and science pioneered by both is the scientific spider web at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and the metaphor of the tree of science at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The closeness of their ontological, epistemological, and axiological frameworks gave birth to the concept of "interconnection integration" at UIN Yogyakarta and "ulul albab" at UIN Malang.
