Abstract

The research objective of PAI UHAMKA tracer study is to determine the quality of graduates and the demands of the world of work. This research is a descriptive quantitative research through a survey approach which includes three stages: 1) developing concepts and instruments; 2) data collection and 3) data analysis. The research samples were graduates of PAI UHAMKA 2017. For the data analysis stage, a mix method was used with the Sequential Explanatory model. The results showed that the majority of PAI UHAMKA graduates in 2017 were absorbed in working in the government and private sectors. The competencies possessed by graduates are in accordance with the job. The assessment of graduate respondents on the learning process states that the learning methods, qualifications of teaching staff and learning facilities are appropriate to support the increase in knowledge and abilities needed to support work, and the guidance of AIK has an impact on the worship obedience of graduates.

Abstract

Funding and accountability have always been a major problem in financial management of education in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to know the financial management of education at MTs. Wihdatul Fikri on the aspect of funding sources and accountability of Madrasah. This research was a qualitative research using a case study method. The data collection techniques used in this study were documentation and in-depth interview. The results showed that 1) MTs. Wihdatul Fikri relied on tuition fees on BOS from government (the government fund from 2014 to 2016 was Rp. 207,850,000); 2) from 2014 to 2016 other sources of funds received by MTs. Wihdatul Fikri only came from IP (Indonesian Power) and individuals which was lower than those from government (Rp. 69,200,000); 3) the accountability of MTs. Wihdatul Fikri was low because there was no transparency in the report of madrasah accountability, either related to BOS funds or other funds from IP.

Abstract

The human will to choose is a gift that Allah has given to them. Since early life, humans have the potential to choose certain attitudes in life. With this will of choice, human can be in goodness and also man can fall into sin. The factors that can influence this will are human reason and revelation sent down by Allah Almighty. The relevance of the human will to gain knowledge is to study hard to master the knowledge that humans need. This paper is compiled from a literature study that contains the human will and theological reviews of the human will in obtaining knowledge. The data is compiled, analyzed, and concluded so as to get an overview of the views of Islamic theology in gaining knowledge. The results of the study show that knowledge is essentially a sustenance from Allah swt. As Allah's sustenance, humans are required by Sharia to earn it seriously. Studying diligently is a human effort to master knowledge. This human will is an important matter for humans in obtaining and developing knowledge.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and to compare the output of scientific publications, both national and international, from a number of Muhammadiyah universities. The source of data used in this study was originated from the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) portal, and as many as 35 Muhammadiyah universities were the objects of this study. Data were analyzed using a correlation analysis and a multivariate analysis, namely principal component analysis (PCA). Results showed that the variables of Scopusindexed publication, SINTA-indexed publication, SINTA score, number of academic staffs, and the ratio between Scopus-indexed publication to the number of academic staffs had positive and significant correlations (P<0.001). The PCA results indicated that several universities, namely UM Surakarta, Ahmad Dahlan University and UM Yogyakarta were in a separate cluster from other Muhammadiyah universities, i.e., the superior cluster in terms of publication output. Other universities that close to themwere UM Malang and UHAMKA.

Abstract

The reality found in Indonesia, education has not been able to carry out its role well. The various concepts adopted make education dynamic, but have not shown significant output. Curriculum changes based on climate change government, science, and technology in Indonesia sometimes make education less targeted. In relation to Islamic Education, there is a kind of reluctance to adopt Western thought to answer the problem, while according to historical surveys, scientific civilization after the success of Islam collapsed, much absorbed by the West. This research intends to compared the concept of education according to Western and Islamic figures to find solutions, especially in the scope of Islamic Education. This research uses a qualitative type of descriptive-analytical approach using library research. The results showed that the thoughts of the two figures have common ground and similarities in the concept section of the educational stage, goals, teacher, student, materials, and methods. But in the stages, objectives, teacher, student, methods, and materials, there are differences. Abdullah Nashih Ulwan and Jean Jackquess Rosseau had a good concern and concept towards education. Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the evaluation of online learning using the Quizizz application and Google Form has on student learning outcomes within the scope of the Islamic Religious Education study program. This type of research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research method. The data collection method was carried out using a test technique with a research design of pretest-posttest control group design, where the researcher gave a pretest with the aim of getting students' initial scores through the google form. The posttest was also given using the Quizizz application, then analyzed using data tabulation to draw conclusions. The place where the research was carried out was at FAI UHAMKA, South Jakarta. The samples used in this study were PAI VI A (Google form) and VI D (Quizizz). The data collected includes primary data. Primary data was obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test of students. The results of the study confirm that there is an effect of online evaluation on the learning outcomes of PAI UHAMKA students in semester 6 of the Statistics course. This was obtained from the results of the study which showed that there was an increase from the original average value of 42.17 to 48.5.

Abstract

This research was aimed to described how to implemented affective assessment in islamic educational subject in SMA N 1 Pariangan. This research used collecting dat technigue through interviewed method, observated and studied of documantation. In this research we knowed that implemented affective assessment of Islamic Educational subject has run well, marked by making lesson plan as well as possible and making instrumants of affective assessment to maesured behavior that would evaluate also giving appropriate score in student affective aspect evaluation in learning process. Teacher of Islamic educational subject in SMA N 1 Pariangan has begun affective assessment by making assessment lattice. Teacher used observtion paper which used for measuring spriritual behavior and social behavior of students. Affective assessment through observation did by the teacher when the students did group discussion in learning process.

Abstract

The implementation of online learning or e-learning can be a solution during the COVID-19 pandemic, Although in practice, there are often problems. This happens because teachers and students are unfamiliar with e-learning learning, limited internet access, and the presentation of the material is less attractive to students. One attempt to solve the problem is by designing and planning lessons well because the design is the initial step in determining the successful implementation of learning. The results of this study are 1. The steps for designing the ADDIE models are a) the needs analysis and problem analysis stages b) designing the content of materials, media, and learning strategies, c) developing lesson plans and syllabus using the student centered Learning-Based approach, d) Application of design that is designed for e-learning teaching situation and e) test and validation by experts, 2) The results of the validity of the learning planning design based on the material validator get 3.49 results with good criteria and media validators get results, 3.62 with very good category, and 2) The results of student responses with very good answers to the design of learning media reached 78%.

Abstract

The cultivation of 5S culture in instilling religious character imbues the teachings of Islamic values. So that professional teachers help grow the character values "‹"‹of students who are still lacking and need to be instilled in order to get used to and have religious characters that are in accordance with Islamic teachings and national education goals. The aim is to determine the professionalism of teachers in growing religious character based on 5S culture. This research is quantitative with a population of 45 students in class XI SMK 1 Muhammadiyah Bantul Yogyakarta. Collecting information using questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research on the results of the growth of character values "‹"‹are 100% teachers provide socialization and role models, 80% warmly welcome students, 100% teachers say hello, 90% give advice if there are mistakes, 100% teachers give awards to students who apply S5, 100% teachers are careful in speaking, 80% of teachers apply S5, 100% of teachers establish good cultural relations with parents and the community.

Abstract

Egypt is a very dynamic country in the association of knowledge so that many students from various parts of the world are very interested in its academic atmosphere. The history of education in Egypt, especially Al-Azhar, has a relationship with the dynamics of Islamic diversity in the country, it can be seen from the gait of its alumni who have filled and developed science that covers all aspects of social, political, cultural and religious life. Thus, it is necessary to deepen the Islamic education in Egypt which affects Islamic education in Indonesia. The purpose of this article is to explore the influence of Islamic education in Egypt on Islamic education in Indonesia. The research method in this article uses the literature study method. Data was collected through the results of library searches and the results of relevant studies followed by content analysis. The results showed that Egypt became an important country as a reference in developing and providing direction for the modernization movement of Islamic education and Muslim countries. The Indonesian Ministry of Religion tends to make Egypt a role model for the development of modern Islamic education and universities in Indonesia. The educational format of Al Azhar University is almost entirely used as a model for the development of study programs and faculties in all IAIN and UIN in Indonesia. After Indonesia entered the reformation, several IAINs in Indonesia were upgraded to become Indonesian Islamic University. Since then, UIN has started to develop the faculty of medicine and health.
