Abstract

The purpose of this research The Influence of Contextual Learning Methode on The Learning Outcomes of grade IV Students at SD Negeri 105383 Pertumbukan on the subject matter of the nature of things and changes. In this research, the method used is a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 105383 Pertumbukan, from oktober to nopember 2021. The research was conducted at class IV-C (using Contextual Learning Methode through Cooperative Learning) and class IV-D (using conventional model). The selection of these two classes was based on purposive sampling technique The instrument used is an objective test in the form of multiple choice questions that have been tested for validity and reliability as many as 15 items. In this research, The data analysis technique used is the Liliefors test for normality test, Bartlett test for homogeneity test and t test (t-test) for two-party hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there was a significant effect The Influence of Contextual Learning Methode on The Learning Outcomes of grade IV Students at SD Negeri 105383 Pertumbukan on the subject matter of the nature of things and changes. This conclusion is based on the results of the two-party hypothesis test on the posttest results of the two classes. The results obtained are the t count value is 13.07 and the t table at the 5% significance level is 1,67. It can be seen that the value that t count > t table or 13.07 > 1.67 means accept Ha, reject Ho.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the government's policy to carry out learning from home as a form of preventing the transmission of the covid-19 virus. Judging from the results of observations there are still students who do not collect assignments, are not active during online learning, are late in collecting assignments and there are also students who get low scores. This study aims to determine the effect of parental guidance on the success of student learning in learning from home at SD Swasta Alwashliyah Dagang Krawan. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out by the method of observation, questionnaires and documentation. For data analysis used is a simple linear regression test. The results showed that there was an effect of parental guidance on the success of student learning in learning from home at SD Swasta Alwashliyah Dagang Krawan Village, seen through a simple linear regression equation Y = 29.8 + 0.395X, which means that if there is an increase in one variable X, the value of the Y variable will increase. of 0.395. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test, it is obtained tcount = 3.056 and ttable = 1.676 with a significant level of 5%, then the value of tcount > ttable is (3.056 > 1.676), so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Judging from the calculation of the coefficient of determination, parental guidance affects the success of student learning in learning from home by 16%, while 84% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Analyze the reading ability of second grade students before visual stimulation at SD Negeri 105286 Tandam Hilir I, (2) Test and analyze whether the visual stimulation method using image media affects the reading ability of second grade students at SDN 105286 Tandam Hilir I. This type of research is experimental research. The subjects of this study were the second grade students of SDN 105286 Tandam Hilir I, totaling 19 students. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The research design used was One Group Pretest-Posttes. In the trial activity did not use the control group. This design is done by comparing the results of the pretest with the posttest in the group being tested. The results of this study indicate that the process of observing and paying attention to students' images is able to improve reading skills. There is a difference in the pretest and posttest scores of class II students at SDN 105286 Tandam Hilir I.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of fourth graders at SD Negeri 107400 B.Khalipah in mathematics subjects with the addition and subtraction of decimal fractions for the 2020/2021 school year are still low. To achieve optimal results, teachers need to use learning methods that can help students, namely by using solving methods. problem. This study used a classroom action research design which was carried out in two cycles. The subjects in the study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 107400 B.Khalipah for the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 36 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through test and non-test (questionnaire, observation and documentation). The results showed an increase in teacher performance, activity, motivation and student learning outcomes in the first cycle to the second cycle. In the first cycle the teacher's performance value was 81.69% and increased in the second cycle to 88.54%, the average value of student learning activities in the first cycle was 75.98% and in the second cycle was 88.80%, the average value students' learning motivation in the first cycle is 75.85%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the problem solving method can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in the material of decimal fractions in class IV SD Negeri 107400 B.Khalipah.

Abstract

The problem studied in this study is the low creativity of students in social studies subject matter in class V SDN 10420 Sambirejo Timur. This study aims to determine whether using the Mind Word Square learning method can improve student learning creativity in social studies subjects, the material of the role of struggle figures. The subjects in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN 104204 Sambirejo Timur, totaling 37 students consisting of 21 male students and 16 female students.. The data collection tool used is to use an observation sheet to measure the level of creativity in student learning. From the results of observations in the initial conditions, it shows that students' learning creativity is very lacking with the percentage of classical completeness only 29.8%. Furthermore, the results of this study indicate that the observation of student learning creativity during the first cycle with the average value increased to 67.55%, then increased in the second cycle to 75.20%, and at the second meeting it increased to 78.3%. While the success rate of classical learning creativity in the first cycle of meeting 1 was 22.22%, and at the second meeting it increased to 61.11%, in the second cycle of meeting 1 it increased to 89.33%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Word Square method can increase student learning creativity on the subject matter of the role of the struggle shop in class V SDN 104204 Sambirejo Timur Academic Year 2020-2021. This means that the Word Square method can be used as an alternative in social studies learning.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is the low level of student motivation due to the low level of student discipline. This study aims to determine how big the level of relationship between student discipline and learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN 106170 AJIBAHO for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This research is a correlational study with the number of research subjects as many as 76 students from fourth grade students at SDN 106170 AJIBAHO for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This research was carried out in two stages, the first stage was a questionnaire trial, then the second stage was the distribution of the questionnaire to all samples of class IV SDN 106170 AJIBAHO for the 2020/2021 academic year. There are two variables in this study, student discipline as the independent variable and student motivation as the dependent variable. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the Product Moment Correlation analysis formula, determination and t test. From the calculation results, the level of tendency of the variable x (student discipline) is included in the category of tending to be moderate. While the level of tendency of the variable y (student learning motivation) is included in the category tend to be too. The results of the t-test calculation show that tcount = 8.85 while ttable = 1.99 with dk = n-2 at a significant level of alpha = 0.05, thus the hypothesis that states "there is a relationship between student discipline and student learning motivation in students grade IV SDN 106170 AJIBAHO Academic Year 2020/2021” has been verified (Ha is accepted and significant because tcount > ttable

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning ability of students on the subject matter of Pancasila at SD Negeri 105329 Wonosari. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 105329 Wonosari Tanjung Morawa Kab. Deli Serdang. This type of research is a quantitative research with a descriptive format. Descriptive quantitative research is a research that has the aim of increasing students' interest in learning on the subject matter of Pancasila at SD Negeri 105329 Wonosari, totaling 46 students. This study provides a pretest to determine the location of the difficulty of student interest in learning on the subject matter of Pancasila. The results of the analysis show that the influence of online learning on interest in learning is 66.2%. So that 33.8% of learning interest is influenced by factors other than online learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of online learning on students' interest in learning on the subject matter of Pancasila at SD Negeri 105329 Wonosari for the 2020/2021 Academic Year Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of online learning on interest in learning and student learning outcomes on the subject matter of Pancasila at SD Negeri 105329 Wonosari in the 2020/2021 academic year has the effect of online learning

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of the scientific approach on the learning outcomes of third-grade students in science at SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia. As a quasi-experimental research, the study aims to determine the efficacy of the scientific approach compared to traditional teaching methods. The population comprised 50 third-grade students, divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received instruction via the scientific approach, while the control group was taught using conventional methods. Data collection involved pretests and posttests to measure learning outcomes, complemented by observations and questionnaires to gauge student engagement and teacher feedback. Results indicated a significant improvement in the experimental group’s performance, suggesting that the scientific approach enhances student understanding and retention in science. This study underscores the importance of adopting interactive and student-centered teaching methods to improve educational outcomes.

Abstract

The form of this research is qualitative research. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data of this study are the values of Moral Education and Student Character Development in the 2013 curriculum thematic books. The data sources used in this study are thematic books with themes 1 (one) and 2 (two). Data collection techniques with interviews and documentation. The results of this study reveal several things from the thematic learning book where the values of moral education and character development in the thematic learning book produce 42 data, with 2 data divisions, and 3 sub themes on themes 1 and 2. In theme 1 there are 21 data with division 3 sub themes, and in theme 2 there are 21 data divided into 3 sub themes. The research subjects were teachers of SD Negeri 101744 Klambir Village, totaling 3 (three) teachers. With the results of teacher interviews, namely: 1) In thematic learning there is moral education and character development and concepts in the material so that the knowledge acquired by students can be implemented in the form of practice outside of school. 2) The teaching materials used are expected to be in accordance with the KD and the indicators developed are also in accordance with the curriculum used. 3) The learning process is not just giving a description of the material, but educators must also deliver material simultaneously to strengthen knowledge about material related to moral education and the development of students' character.

Abstract

This study aims to compare private and public schools in North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The research analyzes relevant literature to identify factors influencing school choice by parents and students and compares academic performance, facilities, and teaching quality between private and public schools. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights for education policymakers and parents in making decisions related to school selection.
