Abstract

This research analyzes telecommunication and education statistical data in Indonesia for the years 2022 and 2023, obtained from the publications of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The study aims to understand the trends in the use of information and communication technology and the condition of education in Indonesia post-COVID-19 pandemic. The data analyzed includes internet usage, mobile phone usage, educational facilities and infrastructure, school participation, as well as the outcomes and achievements of the educational process. The analysis results show a significant increase in access to information and communication technology, reflecting the efforts of the government and the private sector in expanding digital infrastructure. However, this research also reveals various challenges in the education sector that still need to be addressed, including disparities in access to technology in remote areas, the quality of educational facilities and infrastructure that still needs improvement, and the need to enhance the capacity of teachers and educational staff. Therefore, to achieve sustainable development, holistic and inclusive policies are needed, focusing not only on increasing technology access but also on improving the overall quality of education. This research provides essential insights for policymakers in formulating effective strategies to address these challenges and strengthen the education system in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how classroom management improves student learning at Muhammad Fahri Integrated MIS, Medan Tembung. Field research was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach, combining observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The research results show that effective classroom management in Muhammad Fahri Integrated MIS is crucial for creating a conducive and productive learning environment. Teachers play a central role in managing the physical setting of the classroom, student behavior, and the application of innovative learning methods. Close collaboration between teachers, students and parents, supported by the integration of technology and diversification of learning approaches, plays an important role in achieving this goal. This research also identified that active support from school management is key in facilitating an inspiring learning environment and supporting the holistic development of students at Muhammad Fahri Integrated MIS.

Abstract

The importance of using technology in the context of education is growing along with the progress of the times. One aspect that requires special attention is teaching Indonesian to lower grade children. This study aims to explore and analyze the integration of technology in learning Indonesian, with a focus on the development of children's language skills and learning motivation. The author, Khairunnisa, a student of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) at Batutta University, uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The qualitative approach was chosen to provide an in-depth understanding of the use of technology in teaching Indonesian to lower grade children. Case studies are used to describe specific learning contexts and to explore unique experiences of interactions between teachers, students, and technology in Indonesian classes. The literature review discusses the role of technology in education, the urgency of teaching Indonesian to lower grade children, and models of technology integration in learning. This literature is the basis for understanding the theoretical and contextual foundations of the study. The research method involves classroom observation, interviews with Indonesian teachers, and analysis of children's language test results. Classroom observations provide a direct picture of how technology is integrated into the daily learning process. In-depth teacher interviews are used to obtain their views and experiences related to the use of technology in teaching Indonesian. Analysis of children's language test results was used to measure the impact of technology use on the development of their language skills. The findings of this study include effective technology integration strategies, the impact of technology use on language skills, and children's learning motivation through the use of technology. Effective strategies include the use of interactive learning software, educational applications, and relevant online resources. The impact of technology use is seen in the improvement of children's language skills, especially in the aspects of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In addition, the use of technology also increases children's learning motivation, arouses their interest in the subject matter, and creates a more enjoyable learning atmosphere. The discussion of the research results is placed within the framework of the theory of learning Indonesian for lower-grade children. The implications of these findings for improving the quality of teaching in the PGSD Study Program are explained in detail. The conclusions of the study emphasize the importance of technology integration in teaching Indonesian to meet the demands of the times and prepare children to face global challenges. This journal makes a significant contribution to our understanding of the importance of technology integration in the context of teaching Indonesian to lower-grade children. The practical implications of these findings can be used as a basis for developing more effective curriculum and teaching strategies at the PGSD level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character values found in the fables of the book "Bahasa Indonesia untuk SD dan MI Kelas III" at SDN 100311 Palsabolas. The research employed a descriptive method with a case study design, involving an analysis of the book and interviews with the third-grade homeroom teacher as data sources. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings revealed various character values in the fables, such as religiosity (5.56%), honesty (5.56%), hard work (16.67%), independence (5.56%), curiosity (16.67%), appreciation of achievements (11.11%), and responsibility (5.56%). The fable "Keong Emas" contains six character values, making it the story with the most character values, while "Pak Belalang" and "Batu Menangis" each contain three character values. Overall, 12 character values were identified, providing a foundation for character education for students. This study suggests that teachers and parents use fables as an alternative medium for teaching character values, students select positive values to apply in their daily lives, and textbook authors incorporate additional character values that are not yet included to enrich the educational content in fables.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing the PAIKEM learning model (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Enjoyable Learning) in enhancing the learning motivation of fifth-grade mathematics students at SDN 104196 Tandam Hulu, Hamparan Perak District. The research employs a correlational quantitative design, with data collected through questionnaires and documentation. The findings indicate that the application of the PAIKEM model significantly contributes to the increase in student motivation, with an average motivation improvement of over 70% and a positive correlation of 89% between the model's implementation and the enhancement of motivation (Murjiman, 2007; Sugiyono, 2012). These results suggest that a learning approach emphasizing active participation and an enjoyable classroom environment can effectively overcome the monotony of conventional teaching methods. The practical implication of this study is the necessity for teachers to adopt innovative learning models to create interactive and supportive learning environments.

Abstract

The phenomenon of moral decadence, moral deterioration and erosion of students' faith as the next generation in the present day is increasingly concerning. Because the educational methods taught at this time tend to be different from the educational methods taught by the Prophet saw. So it raises a question: “What is the relevance between the educational methods of the Prophet saw and the educational methods today?”. The purpose of this study is to find out the educational methods used by the Prophet saw contained in the book of Shahih Bukhari, the effects resulting from the educational methods of the Prophet saw and the relevance of the educational methods of the Prophet saw to the current educational methods. This research can be classified as qualitative, a type of library research research. That is a literature study that focuses more on discussing the educational methods of the Prophet Muhammad saw through book literature, both primary and secondary data sources. Meanwhile, the main focus is to find educational values in the book of Shahih Bukhari. The results of this study show that there are so many educational methods in the book of Shahih Bukhari. The educational methods include: exemplary method, gentle/affectionate method, deductive method, parable method, figurative method, facilitation method, comparison method, question and answer method, repetition method, demonstration method, experiment method, problem-solving method, discussion method, praise / joy method, punishment method can be carried out by educators in instilling values in the affective realm and developing a mindset in the realm cognitive and commendable behavior exercises in the psychomotor realm. Both in the form of motivation and behavior of educators in providing educational methods to students by imitating the educational methods of the Prophet saw. The conclusion of the study emphasizes that the educational method of the Prophet saw is a method that has Islamic educational values and these educational values are in accordance with the demands of the Qur'an and hadith so that it is very important to be instilled in today's students. Basically, with the values of Islamic education, it is also what leads students to become the future generation of the nation who go from barbaric to civilized, have noble morals in social media and social society and are useful for the nation and religion.

Abstract

This study is a literature review aimed at identifying and analyzing the implementation of cloud-based learning and blended learning in the context of modern education. By exploring various sources, ranging from books to scholarly journals, this research examines the benefits, challenges, and opportunities offered by these two learning methods. The review findings indicate that the use of cloud-based learning provides flexibility in accessing and distributing learning materials in real time, while blended learning integrates the advantages of online and face-to-face instruction to enhance student interaction and engagement. This study also reveals that the development of technological infrastructure, professional development for educators, and the design of adaptive curricula are key factors in optimizing both learning methods. The findings are expected to serve as a guide for educational practitioners and policymakers in designing innovative and effective learning systems.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing isto determine the effect og problem based learning(PBL) learning model on creative thinking skill in the tematic learning theme e subtheme 2 class v of SD HKBP Pagar Jati,Lubuk Pakam district. The author chose the problem based learning (PBL) learning model because student are given the opportunity to developthe ability to think creatively in the learning process.in this writing,the author uses the one grup pretest posttest design writing design. The result obtained from the t-test obtained a value of 69.39.with a frequency(db) of 23-2 =21,at the 5 % significance level,the result is 1.721.so we get tcount or >table or 69.39>1.721.then has is accepted and H0 is rejectd,wich means that the hypotesis in this writing is accepted,namely that there is an influence of problem based learning(PBL) learning model on the ability to think creatively in the tematic learning theme 2 subtheme 2 in class v of SD HKBP Pagar jati private elementry school,Lubuk pakam district.

Abstract

Every organization, be it a government agency, private institution or educational institution such as elementary school, must have administrative activities that are the basis for running daily operations. Administration related to correspondence or archiving of important documents belonging to the school or office. In the digital era, many agencies and schools have begun to switch from manual archive systems to digital archive systems. However, not all schools or offices have implemented the digitalization system optimally. Agencies or schools that have switched or implemented this digital archive system must have their own experiences and perceptions regarding this digital archive system. And of course they already know the advantages and disadvantages of both archive systems.

Abstract

The importance of using varied learning methods in an educational context is increasingly evolving with the times. One aspect that requires special attention is mathematics learning for elementary school students. This study aims to: (1) determine whether the implementation of the cooperative TAI method can improve students' understanding of positive and negative integer arithmetic operations in fourth-grade students at SD IT Islamiyah Belinteng, (2) determine whether there are differences in student activity levels before and after the implementation of the cooperative TAI method in learning in fourth-grade students at SD IT Islamiyah Belinteng. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects were 24 fourth-grade students at SD IT Islamiyah Belinteng, consisting of 15 boys and 9 girls. The researchers used the action research model by Kemmis and McTaggart. This research was conducted in two action cycles. The first cycle consisted of six meetings and the second cycle also had six meetings. Each cycle included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the first cycle of research showed that the percentage of students whose scores were above the KKM only reached 62.5%, so they still could not achieve the research success criteria. In the second cycle, the steps of the TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) cooperative method to improve student success were carried out. The percentage of students' scores above the KKM in the second cycle increased to 87.5%. And also the level of student activity increased from 54.14% during the pre-cycle, 74% in the first cycle and the second cycle got a score of 88.83% and was included in the good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) cooperative method is able to improve student understanding and learning outcomes.
