Abstract

Profitability is an important indicator in assessing a company's performance. Companies that are able to manage inventory turnover and receivables turnover well tend to have optimal financial performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of merchandise inventory turnover in increasing profitability at PT Martina Berto Tbk and to determine the turnover of receivables in increasing profitability at PT Martina Berto Tbk. The method used in this study is quantitative and descriptive analysis.This study uses secondary data obtained from financial reports published to the public for the 2021-2023 period via the official websites of the companies used as research samples. The results of this study show that The company has demonstrated improvements in inventory and accounts receivable management. This is evident in its relatively good Gross Profit Margin, although it still fluctuates annually. More efficient inventory management helps the company reduce storage costs and the risk of damage, thus maintaining a satisfactory gross profit margin

Abstract

Facing increasingly tight competition in the era of economic globalization requires PT. Freeport Indonesia Industri to improve work ability, work motivation and work discipline in order to improve employee performance. The problem faced is that employee performance is not optimal, so that work ability, work motivation and work discipline need to be further improved. The purpose of this study: to determine the effect of work ability on work performance at PT Freeport Indonesia to determine the effect of discipline on performance at PT Freeport Indonesia To determine the effect of motivation on employee performance at PT Freeport Indonesia to determine the effect of discipline and motivation on employee performance at PT Freeport Indonesia. There is an influence of work ability, discipline and motivation on employee performance at PT. Freeport Indonesia. Approach and quantitative work ability, work ability Discipline and motivation have a significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the more work ability is improved, discipline will increase, then performance will increase and if the motivation given is better, performance will also increase significantly.

Abstract

Studi ini menganalisis pengaruh kenyamanan, manfaat, dan risiko terhadap minat UMKM di Kabupaten Lima Kaum, Sumatera Barat, dalam menggunakan pembiayaan fintech P2P lending. Metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda diterapkan pada 122 responden UMKM. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut secara signifikan mempengaruhi minat (89,4%), dengan manfaat sebagai faktor dominan (koefisien 0,692). Menariknya, risiko memiliki korelasi positif (koefisien 0,177), menunjukkan bahwa UMKM tetap tertarik meskipun menyadari risiko potensial. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya kemudahan akses dan manfaat finansial dalam mendorong adopsi fintech, serta kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan keamanan platform guna mengoptimalkan potensinya. Implikasi studi ini bagi platform fintech, penting untuk menyediakan layanan yang mudah digunakan dengan manfaat konkret untuk menarik UMKM. UMKM sendiri harus secara aktif mempelajari mekanisme dan risiko potensial sebelum menggunakan layanan fintech. Temuan tentang hubungan positif antara risiko dan minat juga membuka jalan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut tentang perilaku pengguna, yang akan bermanfaat bagi pertumbuhan usaha kecil.

Abstract

The study is intended to examine the extent to which economic behavior is influenced by family economic education or self-control in the children of dumpling entrepreneurs in Pariaman City. This research was carried out because there are still children of dumpling entrepreneurs who show irrational economic behavior. The sample consisted of 109 adolescents who were determined using the Slovin formula, random sampling was used as a sampling technique. Evaluating the data after it was collected through the distribution of questionnaires was carried out a classic assumption test. The conclusion of the study found that simultaneously the variables of family economic education and self-control had a positive and significant effect on economic behavior in the children of dumpling entrepreneurs in Pariaman City. However, the family economic education variable did not have a positive and significant effect on the economic behavior variable, only self-control had a positive and significant influence on economic behavior in dumpling business children in Pariaman City. This study highlights the role of family economics education in encouraging logical or planned economic behavior and opens space for further research into other factors currently not covered in the research paradigm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) dan Brand Awareness terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada Kopi Janji Jiwa di outlet Transmart Buah Batu Bandung. Di era digital, ulasan online dan popularitas merek menjadi acuan utama konsumen dalam mengambil keputusan pembelian. E-WOM berperan sebagai bentuk komunikasi modern yang memengaruhi kepercayaan dan minat beli, sedangkan Brand Awareness membantu konsumen mengenali dan mengingat produk, sehingga mendorong loyalitas dan keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner online kepada 100 responden konsumen Kopi Janji Jiwa. Setelah pengumpulan data, dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas untuk memastikan instrumen dapat diandalkan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software statistik SPSS guna mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen E-WOM dan brand awareness terhadap variabel dependen keputusan pembelian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-WOM dan Brand Awareness berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi pemasaran digital yang fokus pada pengelolaan ulasan konsumen dan peningkatan kesadaran merek untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar minuman kopi. Kesimpulannya, penguatan E-WOM dan Brand Awareness sangat penting dalam meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of brand experience on brand loyalty, with brand satisfaction, brand trust, and brand commitment serving as mediating variables. Focusing on users of Maxim, an online transportation service provider in Padang City, Indonesia, this research aims to explore how brand experience shapes customer loyalty both directly and indirectly. The study employed a convenience sampling method and collected data from 180 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach with the assistance of SmartPLS version 4.1.1.4. The results indicate that brand experience has a significant positive impact on brand satisfaction, trust, and commitment. Moreover, brand experience has a direct influence on brand loyalty. The findings also show that brand satisfaction and brand trust significantly mediate the relationship between brand experience and brand loyalty, while brand commitment does not exhibit a significant mediating role. These results offer practical implications for transportation service providers, such as Maxim, highlighting the importance of enhancing customer experience to strengthen satisfaction and trust. Theoretically, the study contributes to the literature on consumer behavior by validating the mediating roles of satisfaction and trust and identifying the limited impact of brand commitment in this service context.

Abstract

A key issue for businesses today is maintaining and enhancing consumers’ intentions to repurchase. As a result, repurchase intention has become a critical topic of study. This research examines the impact of price perception and appearance perception on repurchase intention, with brand experience acting as a mediating variable, using Miniso in Padang City as the research context. Data were collected using a convenience sampling technique through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, yielding 180 valid responses. The data analysis was performed with Smart PLS version 4.0. The results indicate that perceptions of price, product appearance, and brand experience each have a significant influence on consumers' repurchase intentions. Furthermore, brand experience plays a mediating role in the relationships between both price and appearance perception and repurchase intention. The findings of this study support consumer behavior theory, highlighting that consumers’ evaluations of price and product appearance affect their repurchase decisions, which are further strengthened by their brand experience.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Perceived Ease of Use and Trust on DANA E-wallet User Loyalty, with Satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population in this study were students of Padang State University who had used the DANA e-wallet more than twice, the number of which is unknown. The sample determination in this study was 100 people using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analysis method used was SEM with the SmartPLS 4.0 approach. The results showed that Perceived Ease of Use and Trust have a positive and significant influence on User Satisfaction. Furthermore, Satisfaction was proven to have a positive and significant influence on User Loyalty. Although Perceived Ease of Use and Trust do not show a significant direct influence on Loyalty, the mediating role of Satisfaction is very important in shaping the loyalty of DANA E-wallet users. This finding confirms that user satisfaction is important in driving the formation of loyalty in the context of using digital financial services.

Abstract

The fluctuating employee turnover rates at Budiman Swalayan Ulak Karang from 2022 to 2024 suggest dynamic work conditions that may reflect issues in human resource management. This study aims to analyze the effect of workload on turnover intention with work stress as a mediating variable. Data were collected through questionnaires from 57 permanent employees and analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that workload does not directly affect turnover intention, but significantly influences work stress, which fully mediates the relationship. The findings highlight the importance of managing work stress to reduce turnover intention. This study implies that organizations should prioritize stress-reduction strategies, such as workload balancing and employee support systems, to enhance employee retention. The results also provide practical insights for HR policies aimed at fostering a healthier and more sustainable work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of locus of control and entrepreneurial literacy on the entrepreneurial behavior of women culinary entrepreneurs in Lima Kaum District. A causal-type quantitative research method was adopted, involving 105 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 30. The results indicate that both variables jointly have a significant effect, but only entrepreneurial literacy shows a positive and significant partial influence. These findings highlight the essential role of entrepreneurial literacy in shaping proactive and sustainable entrepreneurial behavior among women entrepreneurs.
