Abstract

Tujuan penelitian guna mengetahui dampak pencemaran lingkungan akibat pembuangan limbah industri MSG (Monosodium Glutamat) di daerah Driyorejo Gresik. Rumusan masalah penelitian ialah bagaimana dampak yang terjadi akibat adanya pencemaran lingkungan akibat pembuangan limbah industri MSG (Monosodium Glutamat) di daerah Driyorejo Gresik. Metode penelitian ialah studi literatur (literatur study). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode pengumpulan data dengan mengambil data di pustaka, membaca, mencatat, dan mengelolah bahan penelitian dari artikel hasil penelitian tentang variabel dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah dampak yang disebabkan oleh pencemaran lingkungan akibat pembuangan limbah industri MSG (Monosodium Glutamat) di daerah Driyorejo Gresik menyebabkan pencemaran air, udara, dan tanah pada sekita lingkungan. Air sungai menjadi keruh sehingga tidak dapat digunakan dan beberapa ikan terkena dampaknya, serta masyarakat merasakan bahwa limbah gas yang dihasilkan menyebabkan bau yang tidak sedap hingga menyebabkan sesak nafas.

Abstract

This research seeks to describe information about how teachers connect elementary school science material with students' local Papuan experiences. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative with data sources namely 7 class teachers in various elementary schools in Papua. The data collection method in this research is through interviews. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques go through the stages of data presentation and data verification. The results of the research show that in connecting science material with students' local Papuan experiences, the teacher invites students directly to observe the process of chopping sago and then relates this to the material. Apart from that, teachers teach science material related to students' local Papuan experiences such as natural resources in Papua and the daily lives of Papuan people who depend on nature

Abstract

Inisiatif guru jika dihadapkan dengan keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium mengunakan bahan-bahan sederhana yang ditemukan disekitar sekolah seperti memanfaatkan ruang kelas, peralatan sederhana, atau bantuan dari kolega atau komunitas lokal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami secara mendalam inisiatif guru sekolah dasar dalam menyediakan media dan bahan praktikum sains di tengah keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium. Populasi penelitian ini adalah tujuh guru sekolah dasar yang mengajar mata pelajaran sains. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian dapat mencakup panduan wawancara dan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data yang relevan, seperti jenis inisiatif guru menggunakan media dan bahan pratikum yang diambil, kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru, dan hal-hal yang digunakan guru dalam proses pratikum sains/solusi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 3 guru yang menggunakan alat peraga sederhana dengan memanfaatkan alam sebagai media pembelajaran, 2 guru yang menggunakan internet sebagai media pembelajaran, 1 guru yang memanfaatkan laboratorium unversitas dan 1 guru menggunakan fasilitas yang dapat menanamkan konsep pemahaman peserta didik. Adapun solusi yang dapat digunakan seperti memanfaatkan internet dan menggunakan bahan alam yang seadanya.

Abstract

Abstract Practicum-based science learning contributes to students' psychomotor learning outcomes, which makes it one of the methods for achieving student learning outcomes. Practical activities not only enable students to master various science process skills, but also build scientific attitudes that support the process of acquiring knowledge (science products). This research aims to determine teachers' perceptions regarding the effectiveness of practicum-based science learning in Sorong Regency elementary schools. This research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach with data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data, the data is analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Interview results show that 90% of educators stated that they were ready to carry out practicum-based learning and educators believe that practicums enable students to be directly involved in the learning process and quickly understand, practicum activities are carried out using simple and adaptable tools and materials. However, during learning through practicum, many challenges arise from educators and students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) terhadap penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai media pembelajaran dan kaitanannya dengan pemahaman konsep IPA mahasiswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan 25 mahasiswa semester 6 di Institut Agama Islam Negeri Sorong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi Pearson untuk mengetahui hubungan antara minat penggunaan AR dengan nilai IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa (96%) belum memiliki pengalaman dalam menggunakan teknologi AR. Meskipun demikian, minat mahasiswa dalam menggunakan AR sangat tinggi. Analisis korelasi menghasilan koefisien -0,23825, menunjukkan korelasi negative. Hal ini berarti tidak ada hunbunagan yang signifikan terhadap minat penggunaan teknologi AR dengan nilai IPA. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, meskipun tidak ada korelasi yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan teknologi AR dengan nilai IPA, teknologi ini mungkin memiliki keuntungan yang lain yang tidak tercermin dalam nilai pemahaman IPA.

Abstract

Discussing, watching, and assessing in terms of procedures and results make up the learning process. Learning is the process that benefits the individual participating in it and makes use of the tools and resources that are available to everyone. One of the numerous types of educational media are sketching and video learning. Videos come with a lot of advantages, one of which is their capacity to clarify concepts and procedures related to IPA learning. Techniques from quantitative research are used in the study. The student learning outcomes, student interest scale analysis findings, and observation approaches make up the data gathering process. Following an explanation of how the learning media video was implemented, the pretest result was 65, meaning that it did not meet the minimum requirements for value and learning. The posttest result was 84, meaning that the learning value increased and that it now serves as one of the indicators of students' enthusiasm and interest in continuing their education. Treatment undergoes a substantial shift, and the patient becomes curious in learning via enhanced sketches and video-based instruction.

Abstract

Elementary school teachers often face challenges in teaching science in an interesting way to students, due to students' low interest in learning about science. This impacts their understanding of scientific concepts that are important for their future development. In addition, low interest in studying science can affect overall academic achievement. This research aims to find out and collect various innovative ideas from prospective elementary school teachers regarding science teaching that can increase student interest and enjoyment. If not handled well, low interest in learning science can also have a negative impact on students' ability to adapt to developments in technology and science in the modern world. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, using the entire population of student teacher candidates for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah semester 6 of IAIN Sorong and using a random sample of 18 student teacher candidates from IAIN Sorong. The research results show that there are various innovative ideas in teaching science, such as outdoor learning, the use of technology, and strategies to measure student interest. The implementation of these ideas is expected to increase interest in learning science among elementary school students, thereby helping them understand the material better and improving academic achievement.

Abstract

Literacy is a serious problem in the world of Indonesian education. According to data from the World's Most Literate Countries 2016 conducted by Central Connecticut State University, Indonesia ranks 60th in terms of literacy among the 61 countries surveyed. Indonesia has six core literacy competencies. Namely numeracy literacy, digital literacy, financial literacy, cultural literacy, as well as civic literacy and science literacy. Indonesia's science literacy is ranked 9th from the bottom or 71st based on the latest mapping of the Program for International Students Assessment (PISA) in 2018. Namely with an average score of 396. Still lower than the ideal value of 500. Meanwhile, in 2022, science literacy increased by 6 positions from the previous position and is Indonesia's highest position while participating in PISA. Science literacy has a relatively long history and is widely used in science education at various levels of education. Science literacy is defined as the ability to understand scientific processes and obtain meaningful scientific information that can be used in daily life. Misconceptions can occur due to several factors such as lack of teacher knowledge, students' interest in learning, students' way of thinking and teachers, and others. Misconceptions often occur in science material that is abstract or requires visual explanation in its understanding so that students find it difficult to understand, prospective teachers also have difficulty teaching the material. Science education or science is a science that makes students have the ability to think critically, logically and creatively. Natural sciences (science) are necessary for all individuals and all citizens at different levels, in education also requires knowledge, understanding, and skills in science or science. This study is a quantitative research, namely research related to numbers, with a correlational study approach, namely the researcher only analyzes the relationship between variables without determining cause and effect. This study aims to determine the relationship between literacy skills and misconceptions of science teaching in prospective MI teachers. the population in this study is Madrasah Ibtidayah Teacher Candidate Students at IAIN Sorong, the population is the sum of all variables to be studied, with a sample of 23 PGMI semester 6 students, data collection methods using questionnaires about the literacy skills of prospective teachers and also misconceptions according to prospective teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the Strategy of Elementary School Teachers in Teaching Practicum-Based Science in the Middle of Laboratory Facility Limitations. Papua has several important characteristics. Teachers seek to integrate students' local experiences and knowledge in Papua into science learning, encourage students to make observations and hands-on practice in the surrounding environment, and discuss the application of science concepts to preserve nature. Although the majority of primary schools in Papua do not have adequate laboratories, teachers make creative efforts to ensure that the science learning process runs effectively, such as using direct demonstration methods in the classroom by utilizing simple materials and inviting students to conduct simple experiments in the environment around the school. Overall, the results of this study show that the teachers at SD Inpress 56 are trying to optimize science learning by utilizing available resources, and teachers' creativity and innovation are the key in creating interesting and meaningful science learning for students. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, which aims to describe phenomena related to forms, activities, characteristics, changes, relationships, similarities, and differences. The data analysis process is carried out through 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research subjects consisted of 3 teachers at the school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penerapan game edukasi dalam pembelajaran biologi di MAN Tulungagung dan dampaknya terhadap minat siswa. Game edukasi diperkenalkan untuk membuat pembelajaran biologi lebih menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, data diambil melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis data hasil belajar. Teknik Analisis Data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah Transkripsi Data, Koding (Coding), Identifikasi Tema, Penelaahan Tema, dan Interpretasi dan Penulisan Temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi secara dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dalam pelajaran biologi. Elemen permainan, seperti tantangan dan simulasi, berhasil memotivasi siswa dan membuat materi pelajaran lebih menarik. Penerapan game edukasi juga meningkatkan partisipasi dan interaksi siswa selama proses pembelajaran, dengan siswa lebih aktif dalam diskusi dan kolaborasi kelompok. Untuk memaksimalkan manfaatnya, diperlukan dukungan teknologi yang memadai, pelatihan guru, dan desain game yang relevan dengan kurikulum. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan evaluasi berkelanjutan dan pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan efektivitas game edukasi dalam pendidikan.
