Abstract

This study investigates the basic principles of Islamic educational philosophy, focusing on its components philosophy, education, and Islam and their integration in forming a holistic educational approach. The main research question examines how philosophical doctrine influences the goals and practices of Islamic education. Positioned within the framework of classical Islamic thought, this research uses library-based qualitative methods, analyzing various texts and previous research to understand the philosophical foundations of Islamic education. The findings reveal that Islamic educational philosophy emphasizes intellectual, spiritual and moral development, which aims to produce individuals who are balanced and adhere to Islamic values. This study highlights the importance of integrating philosophical principles to maintain coherence with Islamic teachings, enabling education to address modern challenges and traditional values ​​effectively.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Generasi Z hidup di era teknologi yang serba cepat dan digitalisasi yang mendalam, membawa peluang sekaligus tantangan dalam kehidupan akademik dan sosial mereka. Dalam menghadapi dinamika ini, kesejahteraan psikologis (Psychological Well-Being/PWB) dan pendekatan Positive Education menjadi aspek penting dalam membentuk ketahanan mental, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, serta mendukung perkembangan pribadi mahasiswa. Studi pendahuluan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana PWB dan Positive Education berperan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa Generasi Z serta bagaimana teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam mendukung kedua konsep tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur terhadap teori Psychological Well-Being (Ryff, 1989) dan Positive Education (Seligman, 2011), serta analisis terhadap dampak perkembangan teknologi terhadap kesejahteraan mahasiswa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi PWB, seperti penerimaan diri, hubungan sosial yang positif, dan kemandirian, dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital. Sementara itu, Positive Education yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran akademik dengan psikologi positif berperan dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih suportif, adaptif, dan berbasis kesejahteraan mental. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi antara PWB dan Positive Education terkait emosional, ketahanan mental (resilen) dan sikap yang positif terhadap teknologi. PWB dan Positive Education dapat menjadi pendekatan yang efektif dalam membangun daya tahan psikologis mahasiswa Generasi Z di tengah tantangan teknologi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mendorong perguruan tinggi untuk mengembangkan strategi berbasis teknologi yang mendukung kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa melalui program pendidikan positif, layanan konseling berbasis digital, serta kebijakan akademik yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan psikologis mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of parental concern on student learning achievement outcomes in junior high school. Using a quantitative approach, this study collected data through a survey involving 27 students. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between parental concern and student learning achievement. The variables analyzed include attention to homework, supervision of learning activities outside school, and communication between parents and children regarding education. The findings provide important implications for education policy and raising parents' awareness of their role in supporting their children's academic development.

Abstract

The selection of learning methods in the learning process is one of the steps that a teacher must take when teaching. In the learning process, teachers are required to use learning methods which are interesting and also always involve students in learning. If a teacher chooses the right learning method and also students are interested in the learning, then it can be said that the learning process is successful. Research conducted by researchers at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 shows that the learning process still uses the Teacher Center learning system, a system that is still teacher-centred and not student-centred. So that many students are less actively involved and also creative in the learning process. In this study, the Game Based Learning method was used. This study aims to determine the effect of Game Based Learning learning method on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMP Muhammadiyah 57.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Inquiry merupakan pendekatan yang menekankan pada keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses menemukan dan membangun pemahaman terhadap konsep-konsep ilmu pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran Inquiry dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan eksperimen di kelas dengan melibatkan siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Inquiry dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta mendorong eksplorasi konsep secara mendalam. Selain itu, model ini juga membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan kerja sama dalam kelompok. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Inquiry direkomendasikan sebagai pendekatan yang efektif dalam pembelajaran IPAS di Sekolah Dasar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Guide Reading and Summary Procedure (GRASP) adalah sebuah inovasi prosedur kelas untuk belajar membaca strategi, mengaktifkan siswa untuk memahami apa yang mereka membaca dan menulis ringkasan dari bacaan mereka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan data kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua class; kelas percobaan dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas 2di SMA Negeri 02 Tapung Hilir. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II dengan menggunakan cluster sampling yang terdiri dari 52 orang. Pengumpulan data yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. ditemukan bahwa rata-rata skor pre-test siswa yang terdiri dari 55,23, sedangkan rata-rata skor post-test siswa yang terdiri dari 76,15. Jadi, ada kenaikan titik sekitar 20,92% dari pre-test sampai post-test. Dan sisi lain t-observation adalah 3,31 dan t_tabel berada pada tingkat signifikan 1% dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 50 adalah 2,66 dan pada tingkat signifikan 5% dengan degree of freedom (df) = 50 adalah 2,00 . Artinya dengan menggunakan strategi Guide Reading and Summary Procedure (GRAPS) memberikan dampak positif pada pemahaman bacaan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using the Qur'an-based learning method and the Mustaqilly method on increasing students' motivation to learn Arabic in Islamic schools. High learning motivation is an important factor in learning Arabic, especially in the context of Islamic education, where Arabic has a fundamental role. The Qur'an-based learning method aims to integrate Islamic values ​​and contextual approaches, so that students can relate Arabic learning to their religious understanding. Meanwhile, the Mustaqilly method emphasizes independence and gradual learning, which is designed to help students develop language skills independently and continuously. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample was students at an Islamic school in Jakarta, which were divided into two groups: an experimental group using the Qur'an-based and Mustaqilly methods, and a control group using the conventional method. The research instrument was a questionnaire on Arabic learning motivation, which was measured before and after the application of the method to both groups. The results showed that there was a significant increase in Arabic learning motivation in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings indicate that the Qur'an-based method and the Mustaqilly method can effectively increase students' motivation in learning Arabic. The application of this method not only provides practical language understanding but also increases students' appreciation of Arabic as a religious language. The implication of this study is the importance of a learning approach that integrates spiritual values ​​and independence to increase students' motivation to learn Arabic in Islamic schools.

Abstract

The Inquiry learning model is an approach that emphasizes the active involvement of students in the process of discovering and building understanding of scientific concepts. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Inquiry learning model in improving students' understanding and critical thinking skills in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects in Elementary Schools. The research methods used are literature studies and classroom experiments involving students as research subjects. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Inquiry model can increase students' learning motivation, strengthen critical thinking skills, and encourage in-depth exploration of concepts. In addition, this model also helps students develop problem-solving skills and group collaboration. Thus, the Inquiry learning model is recommended as an effective approach in IPAS learning in Elementary Schools to improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving rewards and the influence of rewards on students' learning interests at Al Mutakinah Private Elementary School, Imamah, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The qualitative approach was chosen because it aims to deeply understand the interests and learning outcomes of grade III students at Al Mutakinah Private Elementary School, Imamah, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. This approach also allows researchers to obtain richer and more detailed information through interviews, observations, and documentation that describe social reality naturally. This descriptive study focuses on describing students' conditions and how they affect their learning interests. Based on the results of the study on the effect of giving rewards on students' learning interests at Al Mutakinah Private Elementary School, Imamah, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency, the following conclusions can be drawn: Planned and Varied Rewards, Rewards given by the school, such as certificates, medals, praise, and the opportunity to choose activities, have a positive influence on students' learning interests. This reward is one way to appreciate students' achievements and behavior, thus encouraging them to be more active in learning activities. Clear Reward Criteria Reward criteria that include academic achievement, positive attitudes, and student involvement in class activities, help students understand what the school expects. With these criteria, students are motivated to show their best efforts. The Right Time to Give Rewards Rewards that are given immediately after students reach their targets provide effective positive reinforcement. This increases students' learning motivation, because they feel that their efforts are directly appreciated. The Effect of Rewards on Learning Interests Giving rewards has been shown to increase students' learning interests. Students who receive rewards show higher enthusiasm in participating in learning activities, and strive to achieve better achievements in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teachers as motivators in enhancing students' learning interest at SD Negeri 012 Minas Barat. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research provides an in-depth examination of student motivation within the educational context. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as observations and related documentation. The findings reveal that the role of teachers as motivators is crucial in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. Factors such as positive encouragement, fostering learning interest, modeling behavior, providing a conducive learning environment, and constructive feedback are found to significantly influence student motivation. The study also identifies several challenges faced by teachers, such as a lack of teaching skills and understanding of student motivation. Efforts to enhance teacher competencies, develop students' skills, and strengthen communication and support among teachers, students, and parents are proposed as solutions to address these challenges. This research offers valuable insights for educators and education stakeholders on effective strategies to boost students' learning interest through the motivational role of teachers.
