Abstract

Revitalizing patriotism is essential in building a religious moderation attitude among students. It focuses on building a healthy sense of nationalism and tolerance among religions, which is essential in strengthening diversity and unity in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. The research was conducted at Lambung Mangkurat University. This research used several data collection techniques, namely questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that most students, around 70%, strongly agree with revitalizing patriotism to develop moderate attitudes toward religion. This shows a strong understanding and positive acceptance of the importance of patriotism and moderation in religion. They recognize that patriotism and moderation in religion are two concepts that are interrelated and important for maintaining harmony and unity in Indonesia. Abstract

Religious people see disaster as a calamity and destiny that must be faced patiently. The belief that disaster is destiny seems to rule out the possibility of a disaster that can be prevented and minimize its impact. The writing of this article describes the Islamic concept of disaster literacy through a literature study. It also represents its strengthening through the Islamic Religious Education Course, which is a subject that all Muslim students must follow in higher education. By modifying the Islamic and Environmental Concepts material, students are expected to recognize their environment and identify disasters that are prone to occur so that actions can be anticipated to prevent and minimize their impacts.

Based on a quantitative descriptive approach, a search engine was used to search the PRISM protocol through four stages: identification, screening, feasibility, and suitability (inclusion). The research results showed that 500 articles were identified using the word moderate through the SefoRA.com application. At the screening stage, the remaining 200 articles obtained had duplicate status, did not match the fields, and the data used was not appropriately valid. At the feasibility stage, 40 articles were obtained after the elimination process, and 11 articles discussed keywords character strengthening and met the inclusion criteria, which were included in the analysis via the VosViewer engine.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find a common thread between the phenomenon of halal lifestyle and the birth of halal regulations in Indonesia. The state, as the holder of the mandate of popular sovereignty, has the authority to fulfill the right to halal and safe consumption of the people. So since the enactment of Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Product Halal Guarantee, the government has required halal certification (mandatory) for all goods and services that enter and circulate in Indonesian territory. This research uses a qualitative method with a socio-legal research approach because the object of this research is halal lifestyle and its relation to the application of Law No. 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantee. The results of this study indicate that the halal lifestyle is one of the important reasons for halal certification in Indonesia because this halal regulation triggers changes in people's consumption styles, not only for Muslims but is a necessity for all Indonesian people

Meanwhile, the approaches used are historical, anthropological, and semiotic approaches. The Chinese ornaments attached to the Siti Inggil building of the Kasepuhan palace in Cirebon align with the values of religious moderation that are growing and developing in Indonesia. Some of the ornaments on the Siti Inggil building come from cultures outside of Islam, showing the Sultan's moderate attitude and containing the values of religious moderation. First, Siti Inggil implies tolerance and accommodation towards Islamic, Hindu, and Chinese cultures within it. This means there is a willingness to understand and be ready to live with people of different religions and cultures. Abstract

The influence of foreign culture and globalization has made the younger generation less understanding and appreciative of the values of nationalism. Therefore, pesantren education as the oldest educational institution in Indonesia, has a strategic role in shaping the character of students who are noble and have a strong sense of patriotism. Research data shows that the sense of love for the country is currently experiencing a decline, especially among students. This can be seen from almost some Indonesian students who only memorize Pancasila. To overcome this challenge, a strategy is needed to instill the character of patriotism. This study aims to describe boarding activities at Al Khair Wal Barokah Islamic Boarding School and analyze the strategies used in instilling the character of love for the country to students. This research uses interviews, observations and documentation studies as data collection methods, followed by critical and reflective analysis. The findings of this study reveal that the organized boarding activities are closely related to nationalism. The strategy in instilling the character of love for the homeland for students at Al Khair Wal Barokah Islamic Boarding School is carried out through national commitment which is realized through flag ceremonies, exemplary pesantren caregivers, and local identity through the use of batik which reflects pride in cultural heritage.
