Abstract

In the last ten years, Indonesia has been carrying out massive infrastructure development. The goal is to facilitate community mobility which has an impact on economic growth. Infrastructure development also aims to increase the Human Development Index even though it does not directly affect it. One of the provinces that contributed to infrastructure development was East Java, with the Human Development Index during the 2018-2022 period increasing and tending to stagnate. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to identify the influence of infrastructure development on the Human Development Index, including identifying the influence of poverty on the Human Development Index. The research methodology used is quantitative with a Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) approach that allows to comprehensively identify the Regional Development Index in East Java. The results obtained were that the variables of Infrastructure Development with the dimensions of Road Length (6,172) and Number of Schools (2,686) had an impact on the Human Development Index in East Java. Meanwhile, the poverty variable (-6,139) has no effect on the Human Development Index (HDI). However, simultaneously the variables of Infrastructure Development and Poverty affect the National Development Index (HDI) with a calculation of 64.42 > 2.4202.

Abstract

This research explores the combined effects of content marketing and brand experience on customer response, a relationship that has not been extensively studied in previous research. The study highlights the significance of customer service as a key determinant of business success, emphasizing that when customers feel valued and receive prompt responses from a company, their satisfaction, loyalty, and willingness to engage with the brand increase. The research was conducted on a sample of customers from the General Company for Southern Cement, specifically the Kufa Cement Factory. The study focused on Ordinary Portland Cement and sulfate-resistant cement. A total of 85 questionnaire forms were distributed, with 80 valid responses collected for statistical analysis. The findings indicate that both content marketing and brand experience play a crucial role in enhancing customer communication and service quality. Effective content marketing strategies contribute to better training for customer support teams, ensuring a more responsive and engaging interaction with customers. Furthermore, improving communication channels and response speed positively impacts customer satisfaction. By adopting content marketing strategies and leveraging brand experience, businesses can enhance customer engagement, strengthen relationships, and ultimately achieve their organizational goals. The research recommends integrating content marketing into business operations to build long-term customer relationships and improve brand reputation. Additionally, companies should establish a dedicated internal department for marketing, ensuring that content marketing efforts are credible, relevant, and engaging. By creating meaningful and interactive content, businesses can attract and retain customers, fostering brand loyalty and trust over time.

Abstract

Analysis of Factors Affecting Sailors' Satisfaction in the Online Seafarer Book Issuance Service at the KSOP Class III Tanjung Wangi Office. This study analyzes the factors that influence sailors' satisfaction in the Online Seafarer Book issuance service at the KSOP Class III Tanjung Wangi Office. The aim of this research is to explore the impact of Service Quality, Ease of Use, and Data Security, both individually and collectively, on ship operators' satisfaction. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis on data obtained through questionnaires. Although the hypothesis suggested an expected simultaneous relationship between the independent variables (Ease of Use, Service Quality, and Data Security) and the dependent variable (Sailors' Satisfaction), the research findings indicate that this relationship did not materialize. These findings require further analysis to identify factors that may have caused the discrepancy in results, such as the presence of unaccounted variables or the use of an inappropriate analytical model.

Abstract

The rapid growth of financial technology (fintech) has significantly transformed the funding landscape for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), offering innovative financial solutions beyond traditional banking institutions. This study presents a bibliometric analysis of fintech’s role in SME financing, identifying emerging trends and research gaps. Utilizing bibliographic coupling and co-occurrence network analysis, data from Scopus were analyzed to uncover the intellectual structure and evolution of research in this field. The results highlight key themes, including the integration of blockchain, peer-to-peer lending, financial inclusion, and crowdfunding in SME financing. A particular focus on Islamic finance and Islamic crowdfunding indicates a growing interest in alternative financing mechanisms that align with Sharia principles. Additionally, the study reveals an increasing academic focus on fintech adoption in developing economies, particularly in Indonesia and Nigeria, where access to capital remains a critical challenge. The findings underscore fintech’s role in democratizing financial access for SMEs, bridging funding gaps, and fostering economic growth. Future research should investigate regulatory frameworks, risk management strategies, and technological adoption models to optimize the impact of fintech on sustainability in SME financing.

Abstract

This research examines innovations in development administration through the application of technology to enhance transparency and accountability in governance processes. Using a case study approach across three regional governments in Indonesia, the study analyzes the implementation of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in public administration systems. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 45 stakeholders, direct observations of e-governance platforms, and analysis of implementation reports. The findings reveal that strategic technology deployment can significantly improve communication channels between government and citizens, increase public participation in development processes, and strengthen accountability mechanisms. However, successful implementation depends on institutional readiness, human resource capacity, and appropriate regulatory frameworks. This research contributes to understanding how digital transformation can support good governance principles in developing contexts while highlighting implementation challenges that must be addressed for technology-driven administrative reforms to succeed.

Abstract

This study uses GCG self-assessment as a moderating variable to investigate how risk management, in particular operational, credit, and liquidity risk, affects financial performance. utilizing secondary and quantitative data from the websites of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and each Rural Bank (BPR) for the 2019–2023 timeframe. Purposive sampling was the approach utilized to acquire the study's sample. There are 17 rural banks included in the sample size. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach and the SmartPLS 3.2.9 analysis tool are used in research data processing. The findings of the study demonstrate that operational risk significantly and negatively impacts financial performance. Liquidity risk has a positive but not significant effect on financial performance, while credit risk has a negative impact. This study also discovered that while GCG self-assessment was able to moderate the association between credit risk and financial performance, it was unable to moderate the relationship between financial performance and operational risk or liquidity risk.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning media presents challenges related to the uneven readiness of human resources and infrastructure, thus affecting the effectiveness of its implementation. This study aims to examine the effect of AI implementation in learning media development on learning outcomes of students of Faculty of Economics, University of Balikpapan. The method used is quantitative with survey design and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using AMOS. The sample consists of 113 students selected by simple random sampling from the population of 376 active students. The results of the analysis showed that the readiness of lecturers and the quality of AI-based learning media had a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes. However, the success of AI implementation is also strongly influenced by infrastructure support and educator training. The findings provide important implications for learning media developers and policy makers to strengthen lecturers' capacity and improve technology infrastructure to support inclusive and sustainable digital transformation of education. In addition, ethical aspects and data privacy should be the main concerns in the development of AI-based learning media.
