Abstract

This study uses a qualitative method and starts from the title “The Role of Human Resource Management in Improving the Quality and Productivity of Cow’s Milk: A Literature Study”. This study aims to examine in depth how human resource (HR) management plays a role in improving the quality and productivity of cow’s milk through a literature review. Effective HR management, such as employee placement according to workload, ongoing training, and competency development, has been shown to increase production efficiency and the quality of cow's milk. In addition, factors such as health management, technology utilization, and work environment management are also important aspects in supporting dairy farm productivity. This literature study found that the synergy between HR management and optimization of internal resources, such as finance, technology, and physical, contributed significantly to the development of dairy farming businesses and the achievement of sustainable milk production standards. Thus, an integrated HR management strategy is needed to answer the challenges and demands of the ever-growing market in the dairy farming sector.

Abstract

The digital era has brought about a major transformation in the way organizations manage and utilize data. Data management is a key strategy in supporting decision-making based on accurate, fast, and relevant information. However, the rapid growth of data volume, diversity of sources, and complexity of data integration and security pose challenges in its management. These challenges include issues of data quality, inconsistency, duplication, and limitations in infrastructure and human resource capabilities. In addition, demands for compliance with regulations such as GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act add to the complexity of ethical and responsible data management. On the other hand, technological developments such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing present great opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data management processes. Organizations that are able to adopt a data-driven approach and apply good data governance principles will gain competitive advantage, accelerate innovation, and improve customer satisfaction. This article comprehensively discusses the challenges and opportunities in data management from a data management perspective, and presents a framework for building an adaptive and sustainable data management strategy in the digital era. With a literature analysis and case study approach, this article aims to provide conceptual and practical contributions for organizations that want to optimize the potential of data as a strategic asset.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, price, and product innovation on purchasing decisions for Viva lipstick, with brand image as a mediating variable, among female university students in Semarang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, using purposive sampling of 100 female students who use Viva lipstick. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The results reveal that product quality has a positive and significant effect on both purchasing decisions and brand image. This indicates that consumers’ perceptions of Viva lipstick’s quality—such as color durability, texture smoothness, and comfort in use—play an important role in shaping a positive brand image and encouraging purchasing decisions. In contrast, price and product innovation were found to have no significant effect on either purchasing decisions or brand image, suggesting that the current pricing strategy and product innovation efforts have not yet become the main attraction for consumers. Brand image was found to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions and to mediate the influence of product quality on purchasing decisions. This mediation is partial, meaning that product quality influences purchasing decisions not only directly but also indirectly through the enhancement of brand image. The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance for Viva Cosmetics to continuously improve product quality, including formulation and packaging, while strengthening brand communication strategies to ensure consistent positive consumer perceptions. Furthermore, the company should reassess its pricing and product innovation strategies to remain competitive in the dynamic cosmetics market. By focusing on product quality and brand image, Viva is expected to increase consumer appeal and loyalty, particularly within the university student market segment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and workload on turnover intention, with work stress as a mediating variable in employees of PT Semarang Garment. The phenomenon of high turnover in the garment industry is the background of this study, which is triggered by large production targets, high work pressure, and imbalance between work and personal life. These conditions have the potential to reduce employee welfare and increase the desire to leave the company. This study uses a quantitative method with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques using AMOS version 24. The research sample of 360 respondents was selected through a simple random sampling technique, and data was collected using a structured online questionnaire. The results of the analysis show that: (1) Work-life balance does not have a significant effect on turnover intention, but has a significant negative effect on work stress, which means the better the work-life balance, the lower the level of work stress; (2) Workload has a significant positive effect on work stress, but does not have a significant effect on turnover intention; (3) Work stress has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, which indicates that the higher the work stress, the greater the employee's desire to leave. Furthermore, it was found that job stress mediates the relationship between work-life balance and turnover intention, so improving work-life balance can indirectly reduce turnover intention through reduced job stress. Theoretically, this study adds to the human resource management literature on factors influencing turnover intention. Practically, the results recommend that company management create a healthy work environment, manage workloads proportionally, and design policies that support work-life balance to reduce turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of price, promotion, and product quality on the repurchase intention of Kopi Kenangan products among students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University. The research focuses on how effective marketing strategies can foster customer loyalty toward local coffee brands. The theoretical framework is based on the marketing mix, consumer decision-making processes, and indicators of customer loyalty. The study employs a quantitative research method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. The respondents were selected using purposive sampling, based on specific criteria determined by the researcher to ensure they could provide relevant information aligned with the research objectives. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that price, promotion, and product quality each have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Among these factors, product quality exerts the strongest influence, followed by promotion, and finally, price. These results suggest that enhancing product quality, implementing effective promotional strategies, and maintaining reasonable pricing can significantly increase customers’ likelihood of making repeat purchases. Based on the results, this study recommends that Kopi Kenangan continue to prioritize maintaining high and consistent product quality, as it plays a crucial role in shaping repurchase intentions. Additionally, promotional efforts should be continuously optimized to attract and retain customers in an increasingly competitive coffee market. Pricing strategies should also be monitored to remain competitive while ensuring profitability. Overall, the study concludes that product quality, supported by strategic promotions and competitive pricing, is essential for building and sustaining customer loyalty. By focusing on these factors, Kopi Kenangan can strengthen its market position and foster long-term relationships with its customers

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial aspect that plays a crucial role in maintaining the sustainability, productivity, and competitiveness of a company, including in the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector. Optimal performance levels not only impact the achievement of company targets but also influence customer satisfaction and business churn. One factor believed to be able to improve employee performance is the provision of rewards and motivation. Rewards can be financial or non-financial, which serve as a form of company appreciation for employee contributions. Meanwhile, motivation functions as an internal driver that raises work enthusiasm to achieve the best results. This study aims to analyze the effect of rewards and motivation on employee performance at the Nasi Kulit Syuurga MSME. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a saturated sampling technique, where the entire population of 32 employees were used as respondents. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire, and the data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods using SPSS version 25 software. The results showed that rewards have a significant influence on employee performance. This indicates that appropriate recognition can improve work quality and productivity. However, motivation partially did not have a significant effect on employee performance, which is likely caused by other factors such as working conditions, organizational culture, or suboptimal job satisfaction. Nevertheless, rewards and motivation have been shown to simultaneously contribute to improved employee performance. This finding underscores the importance of designing an effective reward system, coupled with more targeted motivation strategies, to enable MSMEs to retain high-performing employees and increase their competitiveness.

Abstract

Employee performance is the result of an individual's efforts in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, which is reflected in the quality and quantity of work achieved. PT. Mitra Tunas Harapan, a company engaged in providing construction services in Cilegon, has various activities that include planning, design, project supervision, and construction management services. To achieve company goals, employee performance is one of the important factors influencing the company's operational success. Several factors believed to influence employee performance include communication and workload. This study aims to analyze the effect of communication and workload on employee performance at PT. Mitra Tunas Harapan. This study involved a population consisting of 36 employees at the company. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling with a total sampling method, meaning the entire population was sampled in this study. The results showed that communication partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This indicates that good communication between superiors and employees, as well as between employees, can improve task understanding and streamline work processes, which ultimately contribute to improved performance. In addition, workload was also shown to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. A workload that matches employee capacity can improve their productivity and work quality. Simultaneously, both communication and workload have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Therefore, companies need to address both factors to improve employee performance and optimally achieve company goals. Furthermore, this study highlights the importance of effective communication management within organizations. Clear and open communication between managers and employees can reduce misunderstandings and improve coordination in carrying out tasks.
