Abstract

The popularity of online shopping has increased in recent years. The emergence of Shopee, which provides attractive offers and supported by the hedonistic lifestyle of the people who are accustomed to shopping to buy things they dream of, not what they need, can trigger the phenomenon of Impulse Buying. This study aims to analyse the effect of Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Price Discounts on Impulse Buying for Shopee marketplace users. This research was explanatory research using a quantitative approach. The variables are Hedonic Shopping Motivation (X1), Price Discount (X2), and Impulse Buying (Y). The population of this research is D4 Marketing Management Students at State Polytechnic of Malang. Research data was collected by distributing online questionnaires via Google Form to 100 respondents. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The data analysis of this research used descriptive analysis, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, and hypothesis testing. The results of data analysis showed that the Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Price Discount variables partially and simultaneously had a positive effect on Impulse Buying. The analysis of the coefficient of determination showed that Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Price Discounts affect Impulse Buying by 79.4% and the remaining 20.6% was influenced by other variables that not discussed in this research. Therefore, it is hoped that Shopee will always present attractive products and provide offers such as Price Discounts that can trigger hedonic motivation for Shopee marketplace users so that Impulse Buying occurs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge, promotion, and location on people's interest in saving at Bank Syariah Indonesia in Jambi City.This study uses a quantitative method with a data collection technique through a questionnaire. The population in this study were people in Jambi City. The sample collection technique used the Slovin formula so that the number of samples in this study was 98.3 ≈ 100.The results of the study indicate that the knowledge variable has a significant positive effect on people's interest in saving at Bank Syariah Indonesia in Jambi City, the promotion variable does not affect people's interest in saving at Bank Syariah Indonesia in Jambi City and the location variable has a significant positive effect on people's interest in saving at Bank Syariah Indonesia in Jambi City.

Abstract

Students face various academic challenges, such as difficulties in understanding the material, exam pressure, and the transition from online to offline learning, which can hinder academic achievement. This study aims to identify the relationship between adversity quotient and learning motivation on students' academic achievement. The research method used is quantitative with an explanatory survey design. The population in this study consists of students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Siliwangi University, class of 2020, with a sample of 305 students selected using a random sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire, and data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank correlation. The results indicate that both adversity quotient and learning motivation have a positive and significant relationship with academic achievement. This study provides practical implications for the development of educational programs aimed at enhancing adversity intelligence and learning motivation to support students' academic achievement.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini mengenai perilaku konsumtif yang terjadi pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi pada produk fashion. Berdasarkan pra penelitian yang dilakukan, uang saku yang mereka terima dari orangtua cenderung membeli produk fashion tanpa perencanaan sehingga mereka bertindak boros. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konformitas teman sebaya dan literasi ekonomi terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa pada produk fashion. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survei dengan desain eksplanatori. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2022 yang berjumlah 134 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dan teknik analisis data yaitu menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji koefisien determinasi R2, uji t, dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Terdapat pengaruh konformitas teman sebaya terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa dengan nilai signifikansi (0,036 < 0,05). 2) Terdapat pengaruh literasi ekonomi terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa dengan nilai signifikansi (0,009 < 0,05). 3) Terdapat konformitas teman sebaya dan literasi ekonomi terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa dengan nilai signifikansi (0,000 < 0,05). Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu konformitas teman sebaya dan literasi ekonomi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa pada produk fashion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and parental support on learning motivation and its implications for learning outcomes in class X economics subjects at SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya. This study uses a survey research method with a quantitative approach, the sampling technique uses probability sampling by means of simple random sampling with a total of 208 people. The results of research using Path Analysis show that there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on learning motivation, there is a significant influence between parental support on learning motivation, there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between parental support on learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between learning motivation on learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on learning outcomes through learning motivation and there is a significant influence between parental support on learning outcomes through learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of peer environment and self-efficacy on students' learning outcomes in economics. The research method used is a survey with an explanatory design. The population of this study consists of 118 eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 6 in Tasikmalaya who are enrolled in economics. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected using questionnaires, and the data analysis technique applied is multiple linear regression. The results show that there is a positive and significant influence of the peer environment on learning outcomes; a positive and significant influence of self-efficacy on learning outcomes; and a positive and significant influence of both learning motivation and peer conformity on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the financial performance of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk using liquidity ratios, profitability ratios and market ratios. The analytical method used in this research is associative analysis. The data source for this research is documentation in the form of the annual financial report of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk from 2013 to 2023. This research uses an associative approach. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, the financial performance of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk is measured using the liquidity ratio in the Current Ratio, which is an average of 64.90%, which is not good because it is below the industry standard of 200% and the Quick Ratio is an average of 64.90%. 43.32% is in bad condition because it is below the industry standard of 150%. The profitability ratio on Net Profit Margin is an average of 16.23% which is in poor condition because it is below the industry standard of 20%, Return On Assets is an average of 36.21% which is in good condition and is above the industry standard of 30% and an average Return On Equity of 132.52% in good condition and above the industry standard of 40%. Meanwhile, the market ratio on Price to Book Value on average is 19.32, which is overvalued because it is very high compared to the general industry standard of 1.

Abstract

The direct labor budget is a key component in financial planning, serving not only to estimate labor costs but also to optimize human resource allocation and control expenses. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach through an in-depth review of PT INTI (Persero)’s 2022 RKAP and related literature to understand the implementation of the direct labor budget. The analysis compares the planned budget with actual realization by measuring wage rate variances and labor efficiency. The results reveal that the implementation of the budget significantly enhances cost efficiency and strengthens interdepartmental coordination. These findings identify key areas of inefficiency that can be improved to support more effective and measurable cost control strategies. Thus, the study provides a strategic foundation for improving financial management that is responsive to operational dynamics and market competition

Abstract

This research analyzes the management of factory overhead costs (BOP) in increasing the operational efficiency of manufacturing companies. BOP that is not well managed can increase the cost of production and reduce profitability. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through interviews, observation and documentation analysis. The research results show that implementing Activity-Based Budgeting (ABB) increases the accuracy of BOP allocations, while Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) helps transparency and cost monitoring. The main challenge is fluctuating prices of raw materials and energy, which requires budget flexibility. Optimal strategies include indirect labor control, technology-based raw material recording, and energy efficiency. With this strategy, companies can increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen competitiveness in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

Consistency in the presentation of financial statements is an important factor to ensure transparency, accountability and comparability of information in the long term. Consistency ensures that the final financial statements are reliable, relevant and comparable. This principle is based on uniform recording procedures in recording similar transactions in a standardized way, so as to maintain accurate and informative financial records.This study aims to analyze the consistency of the balance sheet report in the Medan City Government Financial Report during the 2020-2023 period. The research method used is documentation analysis of the balance sheet reports from 2020 to 2023 with year-to-year comparison techniques and evaluation of the variability of recording assets, liabilities, and equity. In addition, a qualitative approach through interviews with relevant parties is used to understand the factors that influence reporting consistency. The results show that there is variability in the presentation of balance sheet reports that can be caused by changes in accounting policies, the application of Government Accounting Standards (SAP), and administrative factors. Therefore, a stricter application of accounting standards is needed to maintain the consistency and quality of financial statements.
