Abstract

The purpose of this research is to 1) know the effectiveness of learning blended learning-based quided inquiry on the ability of the mastery of the concept of the student, and 2) determine the effectiveness of learning blended learning-based quided inquiry on the creative thinking skills of students. The study included 71 students as the sample of the study through random sampling derived from semester II Undergraduate Programs of Pharmacy in the college of Pharmacy Muhammadiyah Tangerang with the category of Class A as the control class and Class B as the experimental class. The draft design of the study using the method of Quasi Experiment Preetest-Posttest Control Group Design. Collecting data using test essay question and questionnaire, and data analysis using statistical parametric t-test with a significance level of 0.05. From the results of Anova test found that the results of the data 0.000 < 0.05, which shows the learning blended learning-based quided inquiry is effective against student mastery of concepts with the results of N-Gain in the control group amounted to 40.6% with the category of less effective and the experimental class of 68.8% with the category quite effective. Learning blended learning-based quided inquiry is effective against the ability of creative thinking of students on the aspects of fluency by 71%, originality by 75%, and the elaboration of 75% including both categories, while on the aspect fleksibility included in the very good category with a percentage of 81%. From the results of the questionnaire responses of students towards learning blended learning-based quided inquiry included in the very good category with an average value of 82,71. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk 1) mengetahui keefektivan pembelajaran blended learning berbasis quided inquiry terhadap kemampuan penguasan konsep mahasiswa, dan 2) mengetahui keefektivan pembelajaran blended learning berbasis quided inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan 71 mahasiswa sebagai sampel penelitian melalui random sampling yang berasal dari semester II Program Sarjana Farmasi di Sekolah Tinggi Farmasi Muhammadiyah Tangerang dengan kategori Kelas A sebagai kelas kontrol dan Kelas B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Rancangan desain penelitian menggunakan metode Quasi Experiment Preetest-Posttest Control Group Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes soal essay dan angket, dan analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dari hasil uji Anova diperoleh bahwa hasil data 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan pembelajaran blended learning berbasis quided inquiry efektif terhadap penguasaan konsep mahasiswa dengan hasil N-Gain pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 40,6% dengan kategori kurang efektif dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 68,8% dengan kategori cukup efektif. Pembelajaran blended learning berbasis quided inquiry efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada aspek fluency sebesar 71%, originality sebesar 75%, dan elaboration sebesar 75% termasuk kategori baik, sedangkan pada aspek fleksibility termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 81%. Dari hasil angket tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran blended learning berbasis quided inquiry termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 82,71.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several statements which state that CAM can have a positive effect on learning outcomes. The purpose of the study was to determine whether there was a difference in the effect of applying the concept attainment model on student learning outcomes in science subjects on the structure and function of plant tissue when compared to the lecture method for class VIII SMP Negeri in Kisam Tinggi District, OKU Selatan Regency. The research method used is an experimental design with a quasi-experimental design type Nonequeivalent control group design. The population of this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri in Kisam Tinggi District which consisted of 2 schools. The sample at SMP 1 Kisam Tinggi for the experimental class is VIII E while the control class is VIII B. The sample used at SMP 2 Kisam Tinggi for the experimental class is VIII B while the control class is VIII A. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Collecting data with a written test that is by giving a pretest and posttest. The results of the study the average posttest value of the experimental class was 76.00 and the average posttest value of the control class was 51.45. Data analysis was carried out using the Independent Sample T Test with the help of the SPSS 23.0 program. Obtained a significance value of 0.000. The value of sig < 0.005 indicates that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a difference in the effect of the application of the concept attainment model on the learning outcomes of plant tissue structure and function when compared to the lecture method for class VIII of public junior high schools in Kisam Tinggi sub-district, OKU Selatan district. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa pernyataan yang menyatakan CAM dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan pengaruh penerapan concept attainment model terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPA materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan jika dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah  kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Kisam Tinggi Kabupaten OKU Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan quasi experimental design tipe Nonequeivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Kisam Tinggi yang terdiri dari 2 sekolah. Sampel pada SMP 1 Kisam Tinggi untuk kelas eksperimen yaitu VIII E sedangkan kelas kontrol VIII B, Sampel yang digunakan pada SMP 2 Kisam Tinggi untuk kelas eksperimen yaitu VIII B sedangkan kelas kontrol VIII A. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan test tertulis yaitu dengan cara memberikan pretest dan Posttest. Hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 76,00 dan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol 51,45  Analisis data dengan Independent Sample T Test dengan bantuan program SPSS 23.0. Diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Nilai sig < 0,005 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak artinya terdapat perbedaan pengaruh penerapan concept attainment model terhadap hasil belajar materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan jika dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the interest and learning outcomes of students' biology in online learning at SMA Negeri Purwodadi, Musi Rawas Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a case study research strategy. Based on the results of the questionnaire given to students, there were 130 students who answered the questionnaire. There are four indicators of learning interest that are measured, namely feelings of pleasure, interest, attention and involvement. The happy feeling indicator is a high enough indicator for interest in learning because all students feel happy to take part in biology learning during online learning because students can do online learning anywhere. Then from the indicators of student interest in learning, the involvement indicator is the lowest indicator because students in online learning do not have the awareness to study independently at home. The results of students' biology learning in online learning KD 3.14 which is about the immune system there are 22 students with the lowest score of 75 and 37 students getting the highest score of 98. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui minat dan hasil belajar biologi siswa pada pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri Purwodadi Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan strategi penelitian studi kasus. Berdasarkan hasil angket yang diberikan kepada siswa terdapat 130 siswa yang menjawab angket. Terdapat empat indikator minat belajar yang diukur yaitu perasaan senang, ketertarikan, perhatian dan keterlibatan. Indikator perasaan senang merupakan indikator yang cukup tinggi untuk minat belajar karena seluruh siswa merasa senang mengikuti pembelajaran biologi selama pembelajaran daring karena siswa dapat melakukan pembelajaran daring dimana saja. Kemudian dari indikator minat belajar siswa indikator keterlibatan merupakan indikator yang paling rendah karena siswa pada pembelajaran daring siswa kurang memiliki kesadaran untuk belajar secara mandiri dirumah. Hasil belajar biologi siswa pada pembelajaran daring KD 3.14 yaitu tentang sistem imun terdapat 22 siswa dengan nilai terendah 75 dan 37 siswa mendapatkan nilai tertinggi yaitu 98.

Abstract

This research was motivated by several statements by students who felt boredom in learning and reduced interest in learning in online learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the factors that cause student boredom and interest in online learning in biology lessons at SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIPA and biology teachers. Data were collected by direct observation, open questionnaires to students via google form, direct biology teacher interviews and student interviews via google form. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis technique. The results showed that the learning saturation factor showed thad students experienced boredom in the learning process because the learning method provided by the teacher was not interesting. Meanwhile, the results of the study showed that students' interest in learning factors showed that all students did the assignments given by the teacher. This shows that the condition of learning boredom felt by students does not reduce students' interest in learning in participating in online learning at SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa pernyataan siswa yang merasakan kejenuhan belajar dan minat belajar berkurang dalam pembelajaran daring. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui faktor yang menyebabkan kejenuhan dan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring pada pelajaran biologi di SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA dan guru biologi. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi melalui secara langsung, kuesioner terbuka kepada siswa melalui google form, wawancara guru biologi secara langsung dan wawancara siswa melalui google form. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor kejenuhan belajar siswa menunjukkan jika siswa mengalami kejenuhan dalam proses pembelajaran dikarenakan metode pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru tidak menarik. Sedangkan pada hasil penelitian faktor minat belajar siswa menunjukkan jika seluruh siswa mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru. Hal ini menunjukkan jika kondisi kejenuhan belajar yang dirasakan oleh siswa tidak menurunkan minat belajar siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran daring di SMAN 1 Unggulan Muara Enim.

Abstract

The online learning system is one from of realizing Revolution 4.0 which focuses on technology based learning. Online learning is learning without face to face directly between lecturers and students, but is carried out by utilizing information technology. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of online biology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Palembang. This type of research is a qualitative research. The results of this study are that there are three activities, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. In planning activities, the lecturer make RPS or SAP and also prepares teaching materials. Besides that, students also do planning starting from the place, completeness of stationery, and readiness to learn. In the implementation of learning applications that are often used zoom and whatsapp. The learning method used is question and answer discussion. The obstacle that is very often encountered in online learning is the signal problem. The readiness of students and lecturers during the online learning process is quite good. The characteristics of students in online learning look more creative. The form of evaluation is in the form of assignments after the end of the lecture and the application used by Whatsapp. For the final semester exam, it is done in writing with the lecturer sending questions in the whatsapp group. Abstrak. Sistem pembelajaran daring salah satu bentuk untuk mewujudkan Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang menitikberatkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Pembelajaran daring merupakan pembelajaran tanpa tatap muka secara langsung antara dosen dan mahasiwa, tetapi dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pembelajaran daring biologi di masa pandemi Covid-19 FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat tiga kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan perencanaan dosen membuat RPS atau SAP dan juga mempersiapkan bahan ajar selain itu mahasiswa juga melakukan perencanaan mulai dari tempat, kelengkapan alat tulis, dan kesipan belajar. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran aplikasi yang sering digunakan zoom dan whatsapp. Metode pembelajaran yang dipakai diskusi tanya jawab. Kendala yang sangat sering ditemui dalam pembelajaran daring adalah masalah sinyal. Untuk kesiapan mahasiswa dan dosen selama proses pembelajaran daring cukup baik. Karakteristik mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring ini terlihat lebih kreatif. Bentuk evaluasi berupa tugas-tugas setelah akhir perkuliahan dan aplikasi yang digunakan whatsapp. Untuk ujian akhir semester dilakukan secara tertulis dengan dosen mengirimkan soal-soal di grup whatsapp.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teaching skills of science teachers during the pandemic at the Integrated Islamic Junior High School in Palembang City. This research was conducted at SMPIT Bina Imi and SMPIT Al Furqon Palembang. The method in this research is qualitative descriptive. The data in this study were obtained using observation sheets, questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study are (1) In the skills of opening and closing lessons the teacher often does not convey the learning steps and sometimes conclusions are also missed due to lack of time. (2) In the skill of explaining the teacher's voice sometimes falters due to signals. (3) The questions asked by the teacher are still basic questions, not follow-up questions. (4) In class management skills the teacher can control the class to be more conducive but distractions during zoom can disturb the teacher's concentration. (5) Small group guiding skills and individual teaching skills are difficult for teachers to do in online learning. (6) Obstacles that are often found in online learning include unstable provider signals, limited time in teaching, student delays in class, students who do not turn on the camera while zooming in, teaching materials that are less varied. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan mengajar guru IPA pada masa pandemi  di SMP Islam Terpadu Se- Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di di SMPIT Bina Imi dan di SMPIT Al Furqon Palembang. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptip kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini di dapatkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Pada keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran guru sering tidak menyampaikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran dan kadang-kadang kesimpulan juga terlewat karena kurangnya waktu. (2) Pada keterampilan menjelaskan suara guru terkadang terputus-putus dikarenakan sinyal. (3)Pertanyaan yang diajukan guru masih berupa pertanyaan dasar bukan pertanyaan lanjutan. (4) Pada keterampilan mengelolah kelas guru bisa mengontrol kelas menjadi lebih kondusif tetapi gangguan pada saat zoom dapat mengnggu konsentrasi guru. (5) Keterampilan membimbing kelompok kecil dan keterampilan mengajar perorangan sulit dilakukan guru pada pembelajaran daring. (6) Kendala yang sering ditemukan pada pembelajaran daring diantaranya sinyal provider yang tidak stabil, keterbatasan waktu dalam mengajar, keterlambatan siswa masuk kelas,  siswa yang tidak menyalakan kamera saat zoom berlangsung, bahan ajar yang kurang bervariasi.

Abstract

Since the epidemic of the corona virus, especially in Indonesia, it has had an impact and change in various aspects, including in the field of education, the implementation of an online learning system (in the network). This is a concern and a separate problem in the learning process. Because learning should be a complex activity which is an interaction between two directions in conveying or getting certain information and making changes for the better for students. The formation of the character of students is one of the main essence of the goals of national education. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the effect of online learning on the formation of student character. This study aims to determine how the influence of online learning on the character formation of biology education students at one of the universities in Aceh Province. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research to reveal the character of students during online learning. The research subjects were students of the fifth semester of biology education wich amounts to 40 students. The results showed that even in an online learning atmosphere, the student's character for self-confidence, motivation, responsibility, effort, initiative, strong will, compassion, cooperation, critical thinking, problem solving ability and concentration on goals can be explored well, this is a reference that online learning is still able to explore the character of students so that national education goals can be achieved. Abstrak. Sejak mewabahnya virus corona terutama di Indonesia memberikan dampak dan perubahan dari berbagai aspek termasuk dalam bidang Pendidikan yang diberlakukannya sistem pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan). Hal ini menjadi perhatian dan permasalahan tersendiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Karena seharusnya pembelajaran merupakan suatu kegiatan yang kompleks yang merupakan interaksi antara dua arah dalam menyampaikan atau mendapatkan informasi tertentu dan membuat perubahan kearah yang lebih baik bagi peserta didik. Pembentukan karakter peserta didik merupakan salah satu hakikat utama dari tujuan pendidikan Nasional. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap pembentukan karakter mahasiswa pendidikan biologi disalah satu Universitas di Provinsi Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengungkap karakter mahasiswa selama pembelajaran daring. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester V pendidikan biologi yang berjumlah 40 0rang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun dalam suasana pembelajaran daring karakter mahasiswa untuk percaya diri, motivasi, tanggung jawab, usaha, inisiatif, kemauan kuat, kasih sayang, kerjasama, berpikir kritis, kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan konsentrasi pada tujuan dapat tergali dengan baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the guided inquiry-based biology learning module on ecosystem material for class X high school students, to determine the feasibility of the guided inquiry-based biology learning module on ecosystem material for class X high school students, and to find out the responses from biology teachers and students. In terms of the results of the questionnaire assessment. This study uses the Research and Development method developed by Sugiyono to develop printed learning media in the form of modules. Before testing the product, the finished initial product is then validated by experts. The final result of the material expert got a percentage of 86% with the "Very Eligible" criteria, and media expert validation got a percentage of 92% with the "Very Eligible" criteria. After that, a limited-scale trial was conducted, the results of the biology teacher's response were 95.41% and from 10 students the percentage was 90.50%. In conclusion, the module developed has the criteria of "Very Good" and is suitable for use in the learning. Key words: Learning Module, Guided Inquiry, Ecosystem   Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik modul pembelajaran biologi berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi ekosistem untuk siswa kelas X SMA, untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul pembelajaran biologi berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi ekosistem untuk siswa kelas X SMA, dan untuk mengetahui tanggapan dari guru biologi dan peserta didik ditinjau dari hasil penilaian angket. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development yang dikembangkan oleh Sugiyono untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran cetak dalam bentuk modul. Sebelum menguji produk, produk awal yang telah selesai kemudian divalidasi oleh para ahli. Hasil akhir dari ahli materi mendapatkan presentase 86% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”, dan validasi ahli media mendapatkan presentase 92% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Setelah itu dilakukan uji coba skala terbatas, hasil respon guru biologi 95,41% dan dari 10 siswa persentasenya 90,50%. Kesimpulannya, modul yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria “Sangat Baik”  dan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Modul Pembelajaran, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Ekosistem

Abstract

The guided inquiry learning model is a learning model that has the potential to improve student learning outcomes. However, no researchers have conducted a literature study on the effect of applying the guided inquiry learning model on learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of high school students on biology material. This research was a literature study with a narrative review design. The scientific articles used as research data were 42 articles from the international journal, national journals accredited, national journals unaccredited, proceedings, and repositories. Article validation was carried out by considering freely accessible articles, quality of research methodologies, article topics, article objects, and research references for the last ten years. Data collection techniques through keywords and presented in tabular form. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. Based on the literature study, applying the guided inquiry learning model could improve high school students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes on biology material. Abstrak Model pembelajaran guided inquiry merupakan model pembelajaran yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Akan tetapi, belum ada peneliti yang melakukan kajian literatur mengenai pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa sekolah menengah pada materi biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi literatur dengan desain narrative review. Artikel ilmiah yang digunakan sebagai data penelitian sebanyak 42 artikel yang berasal dari jurnal internasional, jurnal nasional terakreditasi, jurnal nasional tidak terakreditasi, prosiding, dan repository. Validasi artikel dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan artikel dapat diakses secara bebas, kualitas metodologi penelitian, topik bahasan artikel, objek penelitian artikel, dan dengan referensi 10 tahun terakhir. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kata kunci dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur, penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa sekolah menengah pada materi biologi. Abstract

This study aims to develop LKPD based on Guided Inquiry for Class X Fungi Materials in SMA. The development model used in this research is the Plomp development model which consists of three stages, namely; (1) initial investigation, (2) development and manufacture of prototypes, and (3) assessment. The LKPD was tested on tenth-grade students of SMA IT Diniyyah Al-Azhar Jambi City and biology subject teachers. The results of the design expert's assessment, it was found that the LKPD design was very feasible, with a score of 61 or 95.31%. Meanwhile, from the results of the material expert assessment, it was found that the material on the LKPD was very feasible, with a score of 110 or 86%. The results of individual trials, small group trials, and large-group trials, it was found that LKPD has a very practical level of practicality, with the acquisition of practicality scores of 34.67, 36.40 and 34.60, respectively. Likewise, the results of the practicality assessment by the teacher showed that the LKPD had a very practical level of practicality, with a practicality score of 35. It was concluded that the LKPD based on Guided Inquiry on Fungic Materials was very feasible and practical to use in learning activities. Keywords: Development, LKPD, Guided Inquiry, Fungi Material   Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Materi Fungi Kelas X SMA. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu; (1) investigasi awal, (2) pengembangan dan pembuatan prototype, dan (3) penilaian. LKPD diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas X SMA IT Diniyyah Al-Azhar Kota Jambi dan guru mata pelajaran biologi. Hasil penilaian ahli desain, didapatkan bahwa desain LKPD sudah sangat layak, dengan perolehan skor sebesar 61 atau 95,31%. Sementara dari hasil penilaian ahli materi, didapatkan bahwa materi pada LKPD sudah sangat layak, dengan perolehan skor sebesar 110 atau 86%. Hasil ujicoba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan ujicoba kelompok besar, didapatkan bahwa LKPD memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sangat praktis, dengan perolehan skor praktikalitas masing-masing sebesar 34,67, 36,40 dan 34,60. Begitupula hasil penilaian praktikalitas oleh guru didapatkan bahwa LKPD memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sangat praktis, dengan perolehan skor praktikalitas sebesar 35. Disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Materi Fungi sudah sangat layak dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.
