Abstract

Microlearning is a learning method that utilizes media in the form of videos to stimulate students' interest in learning. This research aims to produce microlearning-based learning media on the topic of environmental change and conservation for high school (SMA/MA) students. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a development research type, employing the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination), which is limited to the Development stage. Validity testing was conducted by expert validators, while practicality testing was performed on users. The results of the study indicate that the development of microlearning achieved a validity percentage of 94.5% and a practicality percentage of 81.8%. The conclusion of this research is that the microlearning media on the topic of environmental change and conservation for phase E high school (SMA/MA) students that has been developed is categorized as very valid and very practical. Abstrak. Microlearning adalah metode pembelajaran yang menggunakan media berupa video untuk merangsang minat belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbentuk microlearning pada materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan hidup untuk tingkat SMA/MA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pengembangan, menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination), yang dibatasi hanya sampai tahap Development. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh ahli validator, sedangkan uji praktikalitas dilakukan pada pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan microlearning memperoleh uji validitas dengan persentase 94,5% dan uji praktikalitas dengan persentase 81,8%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media microlearning pada materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan hidup untuk fase E tingkat SMA/MA yang telah dikembangkan dikategorikan sebagai sangat valid dan sangat praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to develop, validate, and determine the effectiveness of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Human Reproductive System Module for Grade XI senior high school students. The research employed the 4D development model, consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The module includes three learning activities: the male reproductive system, the female reproductive system, and disorders of the reproductive system, all designed following the PBL syntax. Validation results indicate a very high level of feasibility from material experts (87.83), learning experts (88.75), design experts (95.31), and biology teachers (91.50). Student responses were also highly positive, with an attractiveness score of 93.33. The effectiveness test showed that learning using this module was effective, with an average individual learning score of 80, a classical completeness of 86%, and an N-gain of 70.51. Therefore, the PBL-based module is feasible and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan serta efektivitas modul sistem reproduksi manusia berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk siswa SMA kelas XI. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Modul terdiri atas tiga kegiatan pembelajaran: sistem reproduksi pria, sistem reproduksi wanita, dan gangguan sistem reproduksi, yang disusun mengikuti sintaks PBL. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sangat tinggi dari ahli materi (87,83), ahli pembelajaran (88,75), ahli desain (95,31), dan guru biologi (91,50). Respon siswa juga sangat positif dengan nilai kemenarikan 93,33. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan pembelajaran menggunakan modul ini efektif dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 80, ketuntasan klasikal 86%, dan N-gain 70,51. Dengan demikian, modul berbasis PBL ini layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by video on students’ learning outcomes in the ecosystem topic at SMA Negeri 1 Barusjahe. The research was motivated by low student engagement and understanding in biology learning, which is still dominated by conventional methods. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental class using PBL assisted by video and a control class using conventional learning methods. The research instrument was a cognitive achievement test administered before and after treatment (pretest and posttest). Data were analyzed using a t-test to determine significant differences between the groups. The results showed that the average posttest score in the experimental class was 82.00, while in the control class it was 68.83. There was a significant difference between the two groups, indicating that the PBL model assisted by video was effective in improving students’ learning outcomes on ecosystem material. The model also encouraged active participation, critical thinking, and deeper conceptual understanding among students. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem di SMA Negeri 1 Barusjahe. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi yang masih didominasi metode konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model PBL berbantuan video dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar kognitif yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (pretest dan posttest). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t untuk menentukan perbedaan signifikan antar kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest siswa pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 82,00, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 68,83. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok, yang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan video efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem. Model ini mendorong partisipasi aktif, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta pemahaman konseptual siswa terhadap materi biologi.

Abstract

This study was conducted in response to students’ low achievement in understanding the concept of the coordination system and the limited use of innovative, digital-based learning models. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of the Group Investigation learning model assisted by Digital Mind Mapping (GI-DMM) on students’ summative biology learning outcomes in Grade XI Phase F. This experimental research used a Randomized Control Group Posttest-Only Design. The population included all Phase F students of SMAN 5 Padang during the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample consisted of two randomly selected classes: XI F4 (experimental group) and XI F7 (control group). The research instrument was a summative assessment in the form of multiple-choice questions. Data were analyzed using a t-test. The results showed that the experimental group had a higher average score (86.58) compared to the control group (73.41). The t-test result (t = 5.48 > t_table = 1.66) indicates a significant difference between the two groups. It is concluded that the GI-DMM learning model significantly improves students’ biology learning outcomes on the topic of the coordination system. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam memahami konsep sistem koordinasi, serta kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran inovatif berbasis digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbantuan Digital Mind Map (GI-DMM) terhadap hasil belajar sumatif biologi siswa kelas XI Fase F. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa Fase F SMA Negeri 5 Padang pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu XI F4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI F7 sebagai kelas kontrol, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa asesmen sumatif dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata penilaian sumatif adalah 86,58 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 73,41 untuk kelas kontrol. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa t hitung sebesar 5,48 > t tabel 1,66, sehingga H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran GI-DMM berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa pada materi sistem koordinasi

Abstract

The use of digital technology in learning media is one effort to create a more interesting and interactive learning experience. This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of the Quartet Card media based on Augmented Reality (AR) on the material of classification of living things. This research is a development research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model and was carried out until the limited trial stage. The research subjects consisted of 26 students of class X-3 at SMA Negeri 1 Bongomeme. Validation was carried out by material experts and media experts, and its practicality was tested by teachers and students. The validation results showed a very valid category, with a value of 86% from media experts and 88.33% from material experts. The practicality test showed that the teacher's response was 95.4% and students' responses were 94% included in the very practical category. Based on the results of the validation and practicality test, it can be concluded that the Quartet Card-AR media is valid and practical for use in learning the material of classification of living things in the classroom. Abstrak. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan kepraktisan media Quartet Card berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dan dilaksanakan hingga tahap uji coba terbatas. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 26 peserta didik kelas X-3 di SMA Negeri 1 Bongomeme. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, serta diuji kepraktisannya oleh guru dan peserta didik. Hasil validasi menunjukkan kategori sangat valid, dengan nilai 86% dari ahli media dan 88,33% dari ahli materi. Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan bahwa respons guru sebesar 95,4% dan peserta didik sebesar 94% termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji kepraktisan,dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Quartet Card-AR tergolong valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup di kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Biology E-Module assisted by the Flip Heyzine application on the ecosystem topic that can be used in both school and out-of-school learning, as well as to determine its feasibility, user responses, and effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate) by Thiagarajan. The research subjects consisted of two experts (material and media), one biology teacher, and 36 tenth-grade students from SMA Negeri 5 Medan. The instruments used included expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, and student learning outcome tests.The results showed that the material expert validation score was 93.01%, media expert 96.25%, and teacher response 93.51%, all categorized as highly feasible. The effectiveness test produced an N-Gain value of 0.72, indicating that the e-module was effective in improving students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, the Flip Heyzine-assisted Biology E-Module on the ecosystem topic is declared valid, feasible, and effective as an innovative learning resource for biology instruction. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan E-Modul Biologi berbantuan aplikasi Flip Heyzine pada materi ekosistem yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah, serta mengetahui kelayakan, respon pengguna, dan keefektifannya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate) dari Thiagarajan. Subjek penelitian meliputi dua ahli (materi dan media), satu guru biologi, dan 36 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Medan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket validasi ahli, angket respon guru, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli materi mencapai 93,01%, ahli media 96,25%, dan guru 93,51%, ketiganya termasuk kategori sangat layak. Uji efektivitas melalui nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,72 menunjukkan bahwa e-modul efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, E-Modul Biologi berbantuan Flip Heyzine dinyatakan valid, layak, dan efektif sebagai bahan ajar inovatif pada materi ekosistem.

Abstract

In the learning process, students are expected to show initiative as a form of their active involvement. Initiative is related to self starting, namely students are involved in learning actively based on their wishes, not just because of the teacher's stimulus and orders. Observations from one of the Tangerang private schools showed a lack of initiative by class XI IPA students in learning biology. This study aims to describe the application of the think pair share learning model to develop student initiatives in learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an instrument in the form of a Field Experience Program portfolio 2 which consists of observation sheets, Teaching Implementation Plans, and teaching reflections. The results of the study show that the application of the think-pair-share learning model can develop student initiative in the learning process through the stages of thinking, discussing in pairs, and presenting or sharing the results of discussions in class (sharing). As for indicators of student initiative that developed after the implementation of think-pair-share, namely self-starting, proactive and persistent. The self-starting aspect of students is achieved through students' awareness to act independently in class, such as actively discussing and being involved in learning. Furthermore, the development of students' proactive aspects is shown through the real participation of students in the learning process such as initiatives to ask questions and respond to teachers. Student contributions in the process of solving problems will develop students' persistent aspects. Abstrak. Dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa diharapkan dapat menunjukkan inisiatif sebagai salah satu bentuk keterlibatan mereka secara aktif. Inisiatif berkaitan dengan self-starting yaitu siswa terlibat dalam pembelajaran secara aktif  berdasarkan keinginan mereka bukan sekedar karena stimulus dan perintah guru. Hasil observasi si salah satu sekolah swasta Tangerang menunjukkan kurangnya inisiatif siswa kelas XI IPA dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran think pair share untuk mengembangkan inisiatif siswa dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrument berupa portfolio Program Pengalaman Lapangan 2 yang terdiri atas lembar obsenrvasi, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pengajaran, dan refleksi mengajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran think-pair-share dapat mengembangkan inisiatif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran melalui tahapan berpikir (thinking), berdiskusi secara berpasangan (pairing), dan mempresentasikan atau berbagai hasil diskusi dalam kelas (sharing). Adapun indikator inisiatif siswa yang berkembang setelah penerapan think-pair-share yaitu self-starting, proactive dan persistent. Aspek self-starting siswa tercapai melalui kesadaran siswa untuk bertindak mandiri dalam kelas, seperti aktif berdiskusi dan terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, perkembangan aspek proactive siswa diperlihatkan melalui partisipasi nyata siswa dalam proses belajar seperti inisiatif untuk bertanya maupun merespons guru.Kontribusi siswa dalam proses menyelesaikan masalah akan mengembangkan aspek persistent siswa.

Abstract

Digital literacy skills are essential in the world of education and must be possessed by all levels of society without exception. Digital literacy plays an important role in determining the success of students' learning in today's digital era. This study aims to determine the level of digital literacy skills of class XI MIPA students of SMAN 1 Singaparna. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The data collection technique used in this study is a survey technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire containing statements related to digital literacy with a linkert scale. Based on the analysis of the results of the study related to students' digital literacy skills that have been carried out, it can be concluded that students' digital literacy in using social media to communicate, obtain information, entertainment, shopping and find alternative learning sources is good. However, students have not been able to process the information obtained so that the level of students' digital literacy needs to be improved again. Abstrak. Kemampuan literasi digital sangat diperlukan dalam dunia pendidikan dan harus dimiliki oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat tanpa terkecuali. Literasi digital berperan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan belajar peserta didik di era digital saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan literasi digital siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Singaparna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik survei. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuisioner yang berisi pernyataan-pernyataan terkait literasi digital dengan skala linkert. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian terkait kemampuan literasi digital siswa yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa literasi digital siswa dalam menggunakan media sosial untuk berkomunikasi, memperoleh informasi, hiburan, berbelanja dan mencari alternatif sumber belajar sudah baik. Namun, siswa belum bisa mengolah informasi yang didapat sehingga tingkat literasi digital siswa peru ditingkatkan kembali.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the feasibility of biocard media in learning the Use of Biodiversity in Indonesia Class X. This research was conducted in the form of qualitative research using descriptive methods. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The research results were implemented into biocard media. The results of data analysis used the Lawshe (1975) method. Biocard media was validated by 5 validators consisting of 2 Biology Education lecturers at FKIP Tanjungpura University and three Biology teachers from SMAN 1 Lumar, SMAN 1 Bengkayang, and SMAN 2 Bengkayang. Based on the average results of the CVR values from 11 criteria, a CVI value of 0.96 was obtained in the valid category, so it can be concluded that the biocard learning media on biodiversity material is suitable for use in the learning process as a learning medium. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kelayakan media biocard pada sub materi Pemanfaatan Keanekaragaman Hayati Indonesia Kelas X terhadap manfaat tumbuhan obat oleh masyarakat dusun Madi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan analisis silabus, hasil penelitian diimplementasikan ke dalam media biocard. Biocard diuji dengan lima validator dengan menggunakan skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Lawshe (1975). Dua orang dosen Prodi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UNTAN dan tiga orang guru Biologi dari SMAN 1 Lumar, SMAN 1 Bengkayang, dan SMAN 2 Bengkayang mengikuti uji kelayakan media. Media biocard memperoleh skor Content Validity Index (CVI) sebesar 0,96 dari lima validator dengan kategori valid dan layak digunakan pada sub materi Pemanfaatan Keanekaragaman Hayati Indonesia, namun masih perlu diujicobakan ke dalam kelas  Kata kunci: keanekaragaman hayati, Kelayakan, validasi bahan ajar media biocard.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine the effectiveness of the STAD learning model assisted by digital bingo media on human excretory system topic of the high-order thinking skills of middle school student and to determine students' learning motivation when using the STAD model assisted by digital bingo media. This research uses quantitative research with true experimental methods. Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design is the design in this research. The results of the research show: (1) Teacher activities in implementing the STAD model are appropriate to syntax, with a 92% accurancy; (2) The results of high-order thinking skills show that posttest scores in the experimental class are higher than those in the control class, namely 74.81 > 67.97. Independent sample T-test results obtained t count > t table, namely 2,220 > 2,000 with a significance of 0.03 < 0.05; (3) Students' learning motivation, as seen from the test percentage, shows 72%, which is included in the high category, so it can be concluded that the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model assisted by digital bingo media is effective for high-order thinking skills and has a positive impact on the learning motivation of second year middle school students in the learning excretory system in humans at MTs Negeri Salatiga in 2023/2024 academic year. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran STAD berbantuan media bingo digital pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa sekolah menengah dan untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa pada saat menggunakan model STAD berbantuan media bingo digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen sejati. Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design merupakan desain dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Aktivitas guru dalam menerapkan model STAD sudah sesuai sintak, dengan akurasi 92%; (2) Hasil keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi menunjukkan skor pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yaitu 74,81 > 67,97. Hasil Uji Independent Sample T-test diperoleh t hitung > t tabel yaitu 2,220 > 2,000 dengan signifikansi 0,03 < 0,05; (3) Motivasi belajar siswa dilihat dari persentase tes menunjukkan 72% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) berbantuan media bingo digital efektif untuk keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan berdampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sekolah menengah tahun kedua pada pembelajaran sistem ekskresi pada manusia di MTs Negeri Salatiga tahun pelajaran 2023/2024
