Abstract

The utilization of fruit plants is local wisdom and cultural wealth that needs to be preserved. Preservation of this knowledge can be done through learning media. This study aims to produce valid learning media and measure positive responses from students. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study with the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evalution. The instruments used are observation sheets, interview sheets, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The results of the validation test were very valid in the material aspect 88.33% (very valid), the media aspect 95.31% (very valid), and the language aspect 91.07% (very valid). Students gave very positive responses on small-scale trials (94.82%) and large-scale trials (94.93%). The results showed that the pocket book of local fruits in Sekadau Regency was valid for use in learning and received positive responses from students. Abstrak. Pemanfaatan tanaman buah merupakan kearifan lokal dan kekayaan budaya yang perlu dilestarikan. Pelestarian pengetahuan ini dapat dilakukan melalui media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang valid dan mengukur respon positif dari siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Devolopment (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu: Analysis (Analisis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evalution (Evaluasi). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, angket, dan lembar validasi. Hasil uji validasi adalah sangat valid pada aspek materi 88,33% (sangat valid), aspek media 95,31% (sangat valid), dan aspek bahasa 91,07% (sangat valid). Siswa memberikan respon yang sangat positif pada uji coba skala kecil (94,82%) dan uji coba skala besar (94,93%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku saku buah lokal Kabupaten Sekadau valid untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan mendapat respon positif dari siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Development of E-LKPD Based on Liveworksheet to Improve Student Learning Outcomes on Environmental Change Material. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the model used is the ADDIE model with a trial on students in class X-C of SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa. The results of this study indicate that (1) Media validation test based on percentage obtained a value of 95% (very valid), and material validation test based on percentage obtained a value of 94% (very valid). (2) Practicality Test consists of Teacher Response and Student Response. Teacher response test based on percentage obtained a value of 95% (Very Practical), and for student response test based on percentage obtained a value of 85% (Very Practical). (3) Learning outcome test obtained from the results of student learning tests through Pre-Test and Post-Test, based on the N-Gain scale obtained a value of 0.68 (moderate) validation percentage 68% (Effective). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Liveworksheet-Based E-LKPD to Improve Student Learning Outcomes on Environmental Change Material that was developed has met the valid and practical criteria so that it can or is feasible to be used. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis Liveworksheet serta mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Perubahan Lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahap: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada 32 peserta didik di kelas X-C SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa, dengan melibatkan pula satu orang guru mata pelajaran biologi sebagai responden uji kepraktisan. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Uji validasi media berdasarkan presentase memperoleh nilai sebesar 95% (sangat valid),dan uji validasi materi berdasarkan presentase memperoleh nilai sebesar 94% (sangat valid). (2)Uji Kepraktisan terdiri dari Respon Guru dan Respon Peserta Didik. Uji Respon guru berdasarkan presentase memperoleh nilai sebesar 95% (Sangat Praktis), dan untuk Uji respon peserta didik berdasarkan presentase memperoleh nilai sebesar 85% (Sangat Praktis). (3) Uji hasil belajar diperoleh dari hasil tes belajar peserta didik melalui Pre-Test dan Post-Test, berdasarkan skala N-Gain memperoleh nilai 0,68 (sedang) presentase validasi 68% (Efektif). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis Liveworksheet yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Validitas tinggi menunjukkan bahwa konten dan media yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan standar pembelajaran. Kepraktisan yang tinggi dari guru dan peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa media ini mudah digunakan dan membantu dalam proses pembelajaran. Peningkatan hasil belajar yang tergolong sedang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media ini mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Meskipun demikian, ke depan media ini dapat terus disempurnakan agar mampu menghasilkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD Berbasis Liveworksheet untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik pada Materi Perubahan Lingkungan yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning model on Collaboration and Creativity Skills in XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. This research is an experimental quantitative study with a (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). The sample in this study consisted of 20 students. The data analysis technique was complemented by statistical data processing methods. The average pretest score for Collaboration Skills in the experimental class was 37.60, while in the control class it was 35.20. The average pretest score for Creativity Skills in the experimental class was 30.20, and in the control class, it was 28.20. Meanwhile, the average posttest score for Collaboration Skills in the experimental class was 44.25, and in the control class, it was 37.20. The average posttest score for Creativity Skills in the experimental class was 37.05, and in the control class, it was 29.00. These results indicate that there is a significant effect before and after the treatment. Based on the t-test results with a t-table value of 2.086, the influence value for collaboration skills is 2.548 and the influence value for creativity skills is 14.209. In other words, t calculated > t table, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. There is an effect of the Project Based Learning Model on Collaboration and Creativity Skills of Students in the Material of Structure and Function of Plant Tissues in Class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning terhadap Keterampilan Kolaborasi dan Kreativitas pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 20 siswa. Teknik analisis data dilengkapi dengan metode pengolahan data statistik. Rata-rata pretest Keterampilan Kolaborasi kelas eksperimen sebesar 37,60 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 35,20. Rata-rata pretest Keterampilan Kreativitas kelas eksperimen sebesar 30,20 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 28,20. Sedangkan rata-rata posttest Keterampilan Kolaborasi kelas eksperimen sebesar 44,25 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 37,20. Sedangkan rata-rata posttest Keterampilan Kreativitas kelas eksperimen sebesar 37,05 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 29,00. Hasil tersebut menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t dengan t tabel yaitu sebesar 2,086, diperoleh nilai pengaruh untuk keterampilan kolaborasi sebesar 2,548 dan nilai pengaruh untuk keterampilan kreativitas sebesar 14,209. Dengan kata lain t hitung > t tabel, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Terdapat Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning terhadap Keterampilan Kolaborasi dan Kreativitas Siswa pada Materi Struktur dan Fungsi Jaringan Tumbuhan Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kabila.

Abstract

The lack of contextual teaching materials that highlight local potential is a challenge in biology learning in schools. This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of the learning module on genetic biodiversity in local Gorontalo corn plants. This study uses the Research and Development method. The learning module was developed using the ADDIE model, up to the limited trial stage. The research subjects were 25 grade X high school students. The learning module was validated by material experts and media experts, and the practicality of using the module in learning biodiversity material was tested. The validation results showed that the module was very valid with an average percentage of 98% from material experts and 93.77% from media experts. The practicality of the module was also very high based on teacher responses of 97.77% and student responses of 98.06%. From the results of the validity and practicality tests, it can be concluded that the learning module on genetic biodiversity in local corn plants can be used in learning Biology for grade X high school, biodiversity material in schools. Abstrak. Kurangnya bahan ajar kontekstual yang mengangkat potensi lokal menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran biologi di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan kepraktisan modul pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati tingkat genetik pada tanaman jagung lokal Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development.  Modul pembelajaran dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, hingga tahapan uji coba terbatas. Subjek penelitian adalah 25 peserta didik kelas X SMA. Modul pembelajaran divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, serta diuji kepraktisan penggunaan modul dalam pembelajaran materi keanekaragaman hayati.  Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul sangat valid dengan rata-rata persentase 98% dari ahli materi dan 93,77% dari ahli media. Kepraktisan modul juga sangat tinggi berdasarkan respons guru sebesar 97,77% dan respons peserta didik sebesar 98,06%. Dari hasil uji validitas dan kepraktisan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati tingkat genetik pada tanaman jagung lokal dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi kelas X SMA, materi  keanekaragaman hayati  di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine students' abilities in solving problems based on their level of prior knowledge in biology learning, particularly on the topic of environmental changes. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method and implemented in Grade X of SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through problem-solving tasks based on Polya’s (1973) indicators, which are divided into four stages: understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and reviewing the solution.The observations showed that students' problem-solving abilities were generally categorized as low to very low, with an average achievement percentage across all indicators of 23.43%. Students experienced difficulties in fully understanding the problems, formulating relevant solutions, and developing logical and systematic steps for problem-solving. Furthermore, their ability to evaluate the solutions they had created was also not yet optimally developed.This condition is closely related to the students’ weak prior knowledge, which directly affects higher-order thinking processes such as reasoning and analysis. Therefore, these findings highlight the importance of strengthening prior knowledge as a foundation for improving the quality of problem-solving in biology learning. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan masalah berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan awal mereka dalam pembelajaran biologi terutama pada topik perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang diimplementasikan di kelas X SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Data diperoleh melalui pemberian soal pemecahan masalah berbasis indikator Polya (1973), yang terbagi menjadi empat tahap yaitu memahami masalah, merumuskan strategi penyelesaian, melaksanakan solusi, dan memverifikasi kembali jawaban. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik secara umum tergolong rendah hingga sangat rendah, dengan rata-rata persentase capaian pada seluruh indikator sebesar 23,43%.Peserta didik menunjukkan kesulitan dalam memahami masalah secara menyeluruh, merumuskan solusi yang relevan, serta menyusun langkah-langkah penyelesaian yang logis dan sistematis. Selain itu, kemampuan mengevaluasi kembali solusi yang telah dibuat juga belum berkembang secara optimal. Kondisi ini berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan awal peserta didik yang lemah, yang berdampak langsung pada proses berpikir tingkat tinggi seperti penalaran dan analisis. Dengan demikian, temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kemampuan awal sebagai fondasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran biologi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based e-module on microplastic pollution in the Sengguruh Reservoir in improving students’ problem-solving skills. This research employed a quasi-experimental design involving two classes selected through purposive sampling. The experimental class was taught using the e-module integrated with the PBL model, while the control class used a conventional textbook and direct instruction model. The results revealed that the use of the PBL-based e-module on microplastic pollution in the Sengguruh Reservoir was more effective in enhancing students’ problem-solving skills compared to traditional teaching methods. Therefore, the PBL-based e-module on microplastic pollution can serve as an effective alternative learning media to foster students' problem-solving skills in biology education. Abstract

Environmental problems are becoming increasingly complex and tangible. This requires biology learning that is contextual and relevant to daily life. However, the learning process in the classroom still heavily relies on textbooks and lecture methods that do not actively involve students. Therefore, interactive teaching materials that connect the subject matter with current environmental issues are needed. This research aims to develop and test the validity of E-LKPD based on the Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) approach on the topic of environmental changes. The development model used is ADDIE, limited to the first three stages: Analysis, Design, and Development. The research method employs a quantitative descriptive approach involving two expert validators, namely a media expert and a content expert. The instruments used consist of validation sheets with a rating scale. The validation results show that the media and content aspects received an average score of 98%, which falls into the 'very valid”. Thus, this SSI-based E-LKPD is deemed suitable for use as a learning resource in biology education, particularly on the topic of environmental changes. Abstrak. Permasalahan lingkungan semakin kompleks dan nyata. Hal ini menuntut pembelajaran biologi yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, proses pembelajaran di kelas masih banyak bergantung pada buku teks dan metode ceramah yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan bahan ajar yang interaktif dan mengaitkan materi dengan isu lingkungan aktual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji validitas E-LKPD berbasis pendekatan Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE, terbatas pada tiga tahap awal: Analysis, Design, dan Development. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan dua validator ahli, yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi dengan skala penilaian. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa aspek media dan materi memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 98%, termasuk dalam kategori “sangat valid”. Dengan demikian, E-LKPD berbasis SSI ini dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran biologi, khususnya pada materi perubahan lingkungan.

Abstract

Biology learning tends to be teacher-centered, resulting in a lack of active student involvement and limited metacognitive skill development. This study aims to determine the validity of the E-LKPD based on the KWL (Know-Want-Learned) strategy on ecosystem material to train students' metacognitive skills. The study used the R&D method with the ADDIE model limited to the Development stage. The research subjects were 18 grade X students of SMA Negeri 6 Gorontalo. Data were collected through teacher interviews and validation by two validators (media and material). The validation results showed that the E-LKPD based on the KWL strategy obtained a "very valid" category with an average percentage of 99% from media experts and 98% from material experts. The developed E-LKPD is suitable for use in biology learning to train students' metacognitive skills and is ready for the implementation stage. Pembelajaran biologi yang cenderung masih berpusat pada guru menyebabkan kurangnya keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dan terbatasnya pengembangan keterampilan metakognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas E-LKPD berbasis strategi KWL (Know-Want-Learned) pada materi ekosistem untuk melatih keterampilan metakognitif peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode R&D dengan model ADDIE yang dibatasi hingga tahap Development. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Gorontalo yang berjumlah 18 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara guru dan validasi oleh dua validator (media dan materi). Hasil validasi menunjukkan E-LKPD berbasis strategi KWL memperoleh kategori "sangat valid" dengan rata-rata persentase 99% dari ahli media dan 98% dari ahli materi. E-LKPD yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi untuk melatih keterampilan metakognitif peserta didik dan siap untuk tahap implementasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze learning instruments on the human digestive system material in measuring scientific reasoning and the application of a halal lifestyle. High-quality and valid instruments are needed to obtain reliable data, so analysis of the instrument before use is an important step. This study focuses on the validity and reliability of the instrument designed to measure five indicators of scientific reasoning, namely: serial ordering, class inclusion reasoning, correlational reasoning, theoretical reasoning, and functionality reasoning. The research method uses a quantitative approach involving 30 students of class VIII MTsN 2 Subang as samples. Data were collected through written essay tests related to the human digestive system material. The results of the analysis using the ANATES application showed that the instrument had a high correlation (r = 0.78) and very high reliability (r = 0.87). Of the ten questions given, all were declared suitable for further research. These findings indicate that the developed instrument is effective for evaluating scientific reasoning and the application of a halal lifestyle in the context of biology learning.Keywords: halal lifestyle, human digestion, scientific reasoning

Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between teachers and students that aims to achieve maximum results, but is often hampered by learning difficulties, both from internal factors such as psychology, interests, and intelligence of students, as well as external factors such as family and community environment. Initial studies at SMA St. Ignatius Medan showed that the virus material in biology lessons was one of the most difficult materials, due to its abstract nature, the use of Latin terms, and limited laboratory practice. The low cognitive achievement of students in the aspects of understanding, applying, and assessing the material indicates the need for special attention. The study aims to identify learning difficulties based on students' understanding of virus material in Class X Science at St. Ignatius Senior High School Medan, as well as the main causal factors. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative. The population includes all science classes at St. Ignatius Senior High School Medan, with the sample selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a two-tier multiple-choice diagnostic test and a questionnaire. The results of the study indicated that students experienced learning difficulties, with the highest rate of misconceptions occurring on the indicators of analyzing the characteristics of viruses, compiling a list of proposed preventive measures to minimize the impact of viral infections, and classifying viruses based on their genetic material along with examples. The highest rate of lack of understanding was observed on the indicators of comparing the lytic and lysogenic cycles in viral reproduction, explaining the role of viruses in life, and classifying viruses based on their genetic material along with examples. The main factors contributing to students' learning difficulties include factors related to facilities and infrastructure, particularly in the aspect of practical activities, and the intrinsic nature of virus material, especially its use of latin terminology. Abstrak. Pembelajaran merupakan proses interaksi antara guru dan siswa yang bertujuan mencapai hasil maksimal, namun sering terhambat oleh kesulitan belajar, baik yang berasal dari faktor internal seperti psikologis, minat, dan intelegensi siswa, maupun faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan keluarga dan masyarakat. Studi awal di SMA St. Ignatius Medan menunjukkan bahwa materi virus dalam pelajaran biologi menjadi salah satu materi tersulit, karena sifatnya yang abstrak, penggunaan istilah Latin, dan keterbatasan praktik laboratorium. Rendahnya capaian kognitif siswa dalam aspek memahami, menerapkan, hingga menilai materi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya perhatian khusus. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar berdasarkan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi virus kelas X IPA SMA St. Ignatius Medan dan faktor- faktor penyebab utamanya. Metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi seluruh kelas IPA yang ada di SMA St. Ignatius Medan. Sampel diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah instrumen tes diagnostik berganda dua tingkat (two-tier multiple choice) dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar kategori miskonsepsi tertinggi pada indikator menganalisis ciri-ciri virus, indikator membuat daftar usulan tindakan preventif untuk meminimalkan dampak infeksi virus, dan indikator mengelompokkan virus berdasarkan substansi genetiknya beserta contohnya, serta tidak paham tertinggi pada indikator membandingkan siklus litik dengan lisogenik pada reproduksi virus, indikator menjelaskan peranan virus dalam kehidupan, dan indikator mengelompokkan virus berdasarkan substansi genetiknya beserta contohnya. Faktor faktor utama penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa terdiri dari faktor sarana dan prasarana pada aspek kegiatan praktikum serta faktor sifat dari materi virus pada aspek bahasa latin.
