Abstract

Good thinking skills will make a person able to learn well. A person who is creative and masters conceptual knowledge is easier to explore information and sharpen their ability to analyze and solve problems, so that these two competencies are needed to become reliable human resources in community life and the world of work. These abilities improvement can be done through development of folklore collection-based PjBL model student worksheet (LKPD) in biodiversity learning for 10th grade high school. This development research uses the ADDIE design with the implementation stage limited to expert tests to determine the feasibility of product and small group tests to determine the practicality of product. LKPD in this research was validated by 3 experts consisting of media experts, material experts and practitioners. Practicality test of LKPD in this study used the responses of 12 students of 11th grade Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) class of SMA Negeri 1 Tebas. The results of the feasibility test by media experts, material experts and practitioners obtained a validity percentage of 90%, 96% and 98% with very valid criteria, while the results of the practicality test obtained response percentage of 91.7% with very good criteria, so that the LKPD was feasible and practical used to improve mastery of conceptual knowledge and creative thinking skills in 10th grade biodiversity material. It is necessary to conduct an effectiveness test of this LKPD so that it can be implemented in biodiversity learning. Abstrak. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif merupakan kompetensi yang penting dan perlu dikembangkan pada abad ke-21. Namun, hasil observasi terhadap LKPD materi keanekaragaman hayati dan hasil wawancara bersama guru Biologi di SMA Negeri 1 Tebas belum menunjukan pembelajaran yang memfasilitasi kreativitas peserta didik. Berpikir kreatif juga membutuhkan penguasaan pengetahuan konseptual, oleh sebab itu aktivitas pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati untuk meningkatkan dua kompetensi tersebut perlu dirancang melalui pengembangan LKPD model PjBL berbasis cerita rakyat. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, Evaluasi) dengan tahap implementasi terbatas pada uji ahli untuk menentukan kelayakan produk dan uji kelompok kecil untuk mengetahui kepraktisan produk. LKPD dalam penelitian ini divalidasi oleh 3 ahli yang terdiri dari ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi. Uji kepraktisan LKPD dalam penelitian ini menggunakan respon 12 peserta didik kelas XI Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (MIPA) SMA Negeri 1 Tebas. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi memperoleh persentase validitas 90%, 96% dan 98% dengan kriteria sangat valid, sedangkan hasil uji kepraktisan diperoleh persentase respon 91,7% dengan kriteria sangat baik, sehingga LKPD layak dan praktis digunakan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan pengetahuan konseptual dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada materi keanekaragaman hayati kelas X. Perlu dilakukan uji efektivitas pada penelitian selanjutnya agar LKPD ini dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the comparison of David Kolb's learning style variations in prospective biology and mathematics teachers at Timor University. This research method is a quantitative descriptive method using survey techniques. Data collection techniques include learning style questionnaires, tests, and interview guidelines. The subjects of the study were 72 Biology Education students and 72 Mathematics Education students, Semester VI, FKIP, Timor University 2023/2024 and the object of the study was the students' learning styles. The results of the study showed that the types of learning styles in prospective biology teachers were Converger (47%), Accommodator (32%), Assimilator (18%), and Diverger (3%), while the types of learning styles in prospective mathematics teachers were Converger (38%), Accommodator (42%), Assimilator (19%), and Diverger (1%). Abstrak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perbandingan ragam gaya belajar david kolb pada calon guru biologi dan matematika di Universitas Timor. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik survei. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket gaya belajar, tes dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek penelitiannya adalah 72 mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi dan 72 mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Semester VI FKIP Universitas Timor 2023/2024 dan objek penelitiannya adalah gaya belajar mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian tipe gaya belajar pada calon guru biologi adalah Converger (47%), Accommodator (32%), Assimilator (18%), dan Diverger (3%), sedangkan tipe gaya belajar calon guru matematika adalah Converger (38%), Accommodator (42%), Assimilator (19%), dan Diverger (1%).

Abstract

21st century learning needs to integrate the learning process by training literacy skills that are very important for students. This study is a Classroom Action Research which aims to improve the learning outcomes of SMAN students with the KNoS-KGS learning model based on 6 21st century literacy skills. This Classroom Action Research lasted for 2 cycles consisting of 4 meetings. Based on the research results obtained, in the first cycle and the first meeting 43% (13 students) obtained a passing grade, while 57% (15 students) had not obtained a passing grade. Then in the second meeting of the first cycle 96.44% (27 students) obtained a passing grade, while 3.56% (1 student) had not obtained a passing grade. Furthermore, in the third meeting of the second cycle 96.44% (27 students) obtained a passing grade, while 3.56% (1 student) had not obtained a passing grade. Until the last meeting all students (100%) were able to obtain a passing grade. Based on these findings, it can be said that the KNoS-KGS learning model based on 6 literacy skills of the 21st century is effective in improving the learning outcomes of high school students. The novelty of this study lies in the learning process that integrates 6 literacy skills of the 21st century. This study is still limited because the samples used are still not too many. Abstrak. Pembelajaran abad 21 perlu mengintegrasikan proses pembelajaran dengan melatihkan kemampuan literasi yang sangat penting bagi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMAN dengan model pembelajaran KNoS-KGS berbasis 6 literasi keterampilan abad 21. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini berlangsung selama 2 siklus yang terdiri atas 4 pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, pada siklus pertama dan pertemuan pertama 43% (13 siswa) memperoleh nilai tuntas, sementara 57% (15 siswa) belum memperoleh nilai tuntas. Kemudian pada pertemuan kedua siklus pertama 96,44% (27 siswa) memperoleh nilai tuntas, sementara 3,56% (1 siswa) belum memperoleh nilai tuntas. Selanjutnya, pada pertemuan ketiga siklus kedua 96,44% (27 siswa) memperoleh nilai tuntas, sementara 3,56% (1 siswa) belum memperoleh nilai tuntas.  Hingga pada pertemuan terakhir seluruh siswa (100%) dapat memperoleh nilai tuntas. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat dikatakan pembelajaran model KNoS-KGS berbasis 6 literasi keterampilan abad 21 efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA. Kebaruan penelitian ini terdapat pada proses pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan 6 keterampilan literasi abad 21. Penelitian ini masih terbatas karena sampel yang digunakan masih tidak terlalu banyak.

Abstract

This study aims to review scientific journals in order to collect relevant sources related to students' perceptions of LKPD media. The importance of measuring perception is to provide an understanding of how people see, understand, and respond to a situation and help identify differences in individual views and assessments. The method used in writing this article is a literature review. This study began by looking for references in the form of articles related to the research topic to be carried out. The criteria for scientific articles used as data are in the form of scientific articles sourced from journals with an update of the last 10 years, namely from 2012-2022. The results of the analysis of 3 journal articles discussing students' perceptions of LKPD media. There are not many articles that describe students' perceptions of the use of LKPD media. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji jurnal-jurnal ilmiah dalam rangka pengumpulan sumber-sumber yang relevan yang berkaitan dengan persepsi peserta didik terhadap media LKPD. Pentingnya mengukur persepsi ialah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang bagaimana orang melihat, memahami, dan merespon suatu situasi dan membantu mengidentifikasi adanya perbedaan pandangan dan penilaian individu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah literature review. Penelitian ini diawali dengan mencari referensi berupa artikel-artikel yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian yang akan dilakukan. Kriteria artikel ilmiah yang digunakan sebagai data berupa artikel ilmiah yang bersumber dari jurnal dengan kemutakhiran 10 tahun terakhir yaitu dari 2012-2022. Hasil analisis 3 artikel jurnal yang membahas persepsi peserta didik terhadap media LKPD. Belum banyak artikel yang menjabarkan terkait persepsi peserta didik terhadap penggunaan media LKPD.

Abstract

The ability of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) needed by students to analyze immune system concepts was not easy to understood by the students. This research development E-booklet because the results of the questionnaire analysis of the needs of teachers and students expected teaching materials that are simple, with easy-to-understand sentences, and have interesting picture illustrations. The purpose of this research is to describe the suitability, feasibility, readability, and effectiveness of the development E-booklet on the concept of the immune system. This research and development with the 4D model; 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop, and 4) Disseminate. The subjects of this research 3 validators and 12 students of class XII SMAN 1 Alalak. The Define stage resulted in needs analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and specification of learning objectives. The design stage resulted in the preparation of criterion reference tests, media selection, format selection and E-booklet design. The Develop stage produces data on suitability, feasibility, readability and effectiveness.  The results of testing the suitability of the E-booklet indicate that it is very suitable with a score of 4.45, meaning that the E-booklet is in accordance with the aspects of learning objectives, language, format and media. The results of feasibility testing indicate that it is very feasible with a score of 4.48, meaning that the E-booklet is feasible to be used by students. The readability results indicate that it is very good with a score of 4.56, meaning that the E-booklet is easy to read and understood by students. The effectiveness test results obtained a pretest score of 19.81 and a posttest score of 56.96, an increase score of 37.15 after using the E-booklet. The booklet of immune system concepts can be used to guide students in the learning of immune system material to improve learning outcomes, especially the ability to analyse the immune system. Abstrak. Kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) perlu dimiliki peserta didik untuk menganalisis materi sistem imun karena dianggap tidak mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini mengembangkan E-booklet dikarenakan hasil angket analisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa mengharapkan adanya bahan ajar yang singkat, kalimat yang mudah dipahami dan ada ilustrasi gambar menarik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kesesuaian, kelayakan, keterbacaan dan keefektifan terhadap hasil pengembangan E-booklet konsep sistem imun. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4D yaitu, 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop, dan 4) Disseminate. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu 3 validator dan 12 peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 1 Alalak. Tahapan Define didapatkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, analisis peserta didik, analisis tugas, analisis konsep, dan spesifikasi tujuan pembelajaran. Tahap Design didapatkan hasil penyusunan tes acuan kriteria, pemilihan media, pemilihan format dan rancangan E-booklet. Untuk mengetahui kesesuian, kelayakan dan keterbacaan maka data yang awalnya berupa skor diolah menjadi data kualitatif (data interval) dengan skala likert. E-booklet menandakan sangat sesuai dengan skor 4,45, artinya E-booklet sesuai dengan aspek tujuan pembelajaran, bahasa, format dan media. Hasil pengujian kelayakan menandakan sangat layak dengan skor yaitu 4,48, artinya E-booklet layak digunakan oleh peserta didik. Hasil keterbacaan menandakan sangat baik dengan skor yaitu 4,56, artinya E-booklet mudah dibaca dan dipahami oleh peserta didik. Hasil uji keefektifan didapatkan hasil nilai pretest (19,81) dan posttest (56,96) adanya peningkatan nilai setelah penggunaan E-booklet sebesar 37,15. E-booklet konsep sistem imun ini dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sistem imun untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, khususnya kemampuan menganalisis terhadap sistem imun.

Abstract

STEM-based Project Based Learning model is a learning model that emphasizes students to complete a project in groups where the project integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This study aims to determine the effect of PjBL (Project Based Learning) model based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) to improve critical thinking skills of biology students of SMAN 3 Langsa.  This study uses a type of quantitative research with a quasy experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design using two sample classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The samples in this study amounted to 36 experimental class students and 36 control class students.   The results of the research instrument trial showed that the average value of the experimental class pretest was 40.11 (low) and the control class was 38.65 (low) so that the difference between the two classes was 1.46. While the average posttest value of the experimental class was 81.40 (high) and the control was 72.42 (medium) so that the difference between the two classes was 8.98. With the hypothesis test value titung>ttabel or 5.59>1.6669. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a significant influence in using the STEM-based PjBL model (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) to improve students' critical thinking skills at SMAN 3 Langsa.  While the experimental class N-gain test results of 0.65 (medium category) were higher than the control class of 0.49 (medium category). Absrtak. Model Project Based Learning  berbasis STEM adalah suatu model pembelajaran yang lebih menekankan siswa untuk menyelesaikan suatu proyek secara berkelompok dimana proyek tersebut mengintegrasikan sains, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning  (PjBL) berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa biologi di SMAN 3 Langsa.  Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasy eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design dengan menggunakan dua kelas sampel, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 36 siswa kelas eksperimen dan  36 siswa kelas kontrol.   Hasil penelitian instrumen tes menunjukkan bahwa adanya nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 40.11 (rendah) dan kelas kontrol sebesar 38,65 (rendah) sehingga selisih antara kedua kelas tersebut sebesar 1,46 Sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas  eksperimen sebesar 81,40 (tinggi) dan kontrol sebesar 72,42 (sedang) sehingga selisih antara kedua kelas tersebut sebesar 8,98. Dengan nilai uji hipotesis thitung>ttabel   atau  5,59 >1,6669. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan  bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam menggunakan model PjBL berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)  untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis  siswa  di SMAN 3 Langsa.  Sedangkan hasil uji N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,65 (kategori sedang) lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,49 (kategori sedang).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply the Group investiagtion model assisted by Question Box media equipped with LKS Word Square. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using a descriptive quantitative approach, which is carried out in three stages: pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II, involving 21 students. improvement of student learning outcomes from activities, In pre-cycle activities, a percentage of completeness of 40% was obtained, and incomplete as many as 15 students with a percentage of 60% In the assessment activity of affective activities of students with the highest predicate of 0%, medium predicate of 28%, and low predicate of 72%. In the first cycle, there were 15 students who completed with a percentage of 60%, and 10 students who did not complete with a percentage of 40%, with the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 50. In the first cycle of the affective aspect assessment, scores were obtained with a high category of 16%, a medium category of 44%, and a low category of 40%. The learning outcomes of students experienced a significant increase in the first cycle compared to pre-cycle activities. In cycle II, there was another increase in posttest learning outcomes in cycle II for the cognitive aspect, namely there were 20 students who completed with a percentage of 80% and 5 students who did not complete with a percentage of 20% with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 20 and an average score of 80. The affective aspect obtained a percentage value with a high category of 90.62%, medium category 9.37%, low category 0%. The achievement of learning outcomes in cycle II is very satisfactory because many students get a score above KKM, which is 70. Based on the data obtained, there was a very high increase in learning outcomes in cycle II, which was 80%. This shows that the indicators of student success in this study have approached classical completeness, namely 85% of the number of students in the class obtained a score greater than or equal to 70 (KKM). It can be concluded that the application of the Group Investigation learning model with Question Box media equipped with LKS Word Square, can improve the learning outcomes of students at SMA Muhammadiyah Waingapu, class 1X Science on Plant Network material.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model Group investigation   berbantuan media question box dilengkapi ygLKS Word Square. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, yang dilakukan dalam 2 tahap: siklus I, dan siklus II, melibatkan 21 siswa.  Peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I, terdapat 15 peserta didik yang tuntas dengan persentase 60, dan 10 peserta didik yang tidak tuntas dengan persentase 40, dengan nilai tertinggi 90 dan nilai terendah 50.  Pada siklus I penilaian aspek afektif diperoleh nilai dengan kategori tinggi 16, kategori sedang 44, kategori rendah 40.  Hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan pada siklus I dari pada kegiatan pra siklus. Pada siklus II terjadi lagi peningkatan hasil belajar posttes pada siklus II untuk aspek kognitif yaitu terdapat 20 orang peserta didik yang tuntas dengan persentase 80 dan 5 orang peserta didik yang tidak tuntas dengan persentase 20% dengan nilai tertinggi 100 dan nilai terendah 20 dan nilai rata-rata 80.  Aspek afektif diperoleh nilai persentase dengan kategori tinggi 90,62, kategori sedang 9,37, kategori rendah 0. Pencapaian hasil belajar pada siklus II sangat memuaskan karena banyak peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM yaitu 70. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator keberhasilan peserta didik dalam penelitian ini telah mendekati ketuntasan klasikal yakni 85. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbatuan media question box dilengkapi LKS Word Square, dapat meningkat hasil belajar siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah Waingapu.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes using the index card match learning model assisted by lumio by smart media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. Each cycle includes four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In the pre-cycle, the students' cognitive average score was 59.72, with 14 students achieving the minimum passing criterion (38.88%) and 22 students not meeting the criterion (61.11%). In terms of student activity in the affective aspec 4 students with a good rating, 7 with a sufficient rating, and 25 with a poor rating. In cycle I, the cognitive average score was 71.81, with 21 students meeting the criterion (58.33%) and 15 students not meeting it (41.66%). For the affective aspect, showed 2 students with an excellent rating, 15 with a good rating, 9 with a sufficient rating, and 10 with a poor rating. In cycle II, the students' cognitive average score rose to 84.38, with 32 students meeting the criterion (88.88%) and 4 students not meeting it (11.11%). For the affective aspect, 24 students achieved an excellent rating, 7 a good rating, 3 a sufficient rating, and 2 a poor rating. It is concluded that the application of the index card match learning model assisted by lumio by smart media can improve students' learning outcomes in biology on the topic of growth and development of living things at SMA Negeri 3 Waingapu. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran index card match dengan berbantuan media lumio by smart. Jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tidakan Kelas (PTK) terdiri dari prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Tiap siklus tediri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada prasiklus kognitif peserta didik 59,72 yang tuntas 14 dengan persentase 38,88% sedangkan yang tidak tuntas 22 dengan persentase 61,11%. Aktivitas peserta didik untuk aspek afektif terdapat 4 orang dengan predikat baik, 7 orang dengan predikat cukup dan 25 orang dengan predikat kurang. Kognitif peserta didik pada siklus 1 nilai rata-rata 71,81 yang tuntas 21 orang dengan persentase 58,33% sedangkan yang tidak tuntas 15 orang dengan persentase 41,66%. Aktivitas peserta didik yaitu aspek afektif terdapat 2 orang dengan predikat sangat baik, 15 orang dengan predikat baik, 9 orang dengan predikat cukup dan 10 orang dengan predikat kurang. Kognitif peserta didik pada siklus II nilai rata-rata 84,38 dengan jumlah yang tuntas 32 orang dengan persentase 88,88% dan tidak tuntas 4 orang dengan jumlah presentase 11,11%. Aktivitas peserta didik untuk aspek afektif terdapat 24 orang dengan predikat sangat baik, 7 orang dengan predikat baik, 3 orang dengan predikat cukup dan 2 orang dengan predikat kurang Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran index card match dengan berbantuan media lumio by smart dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran biologi pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan makhluk hidup di SMA Negeri 3 Waingapu.

Abstract

Project-based learning is one of the methods that supports the quality of education in Indonesia, which is regulated in Law No. 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education. Project-based learning is learning that is charged to students to improve their critical thinking skills, solve problems, find solutions and grow communication skills. This learning is also useful for lecturers as teaching staff to improve their abilities and higher skills. This study aims to determine the level of achievement of the implementation of project-based learning in learning based on department policies. This study uses a mixed approach combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The sample in this study is students who have experienced the application of the project-based learning model in the Biochemistry course class of 2022 Biology Education Study Program. Data collection uses observation sheets for the implementation of syntax, student perception questionnaires, interview sheets and critical thinking tests (pretest and posttest). The data obtained were analyzed by interactive analysis for qualitative and descriptive statistics of quantitative data using IBM SPSS Statistics 29. Abstrak. Pembelajaran project-based learning merupakan salah satu metode yang mendukung kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, yang diatur dalam UU No. 12 Tahun 2012 tentang Pendidikan Tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketercapaian penerapan project-based learning dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan kebijakan jurusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed method) menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang telah mengalami penerapan model pembelajaran project-based learning dalam matakuliah Biokimia angkatan 2022 Prodi Pendidikan Biologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan sintaks, kuisioner persepsi mahasiswa, lembar wawancara dan tes berpikir kritis (pretest dan posttest). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara analisis interaktif untuk kualitatif dan statistic deskriptif data kuantitatif menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 29. Hasil penelitian berupa penerapan model pembelajaran proyek (project based learning) pada mata kuliah Biokimia, hasil observasi menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 82,40% (kategori sangat baik). Ditemukan juga kendala dalam penerapan model ini yaitu, keterbatasan mengelola waktu dan sumber daya yang tersedia untuk proyek tim, minimnya umpan balik, kompleksitas materi serta kurangnya variasi dalam integrasi teknologi.

Abstract

The Sambas Malay tribe utilizes aromatic plants for traditional, medicinal, and culinary purposes. This research aims to identify the aromatic plant species used by the Sambas Malay tribe and evaluate their potential as a biology learning resource. Using an ethnographic approach with qualitative methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, identification, and questionnaires. The results revealed 26 species from 18 plant families that are used in the traditional, medicinal, and culinary practices of the Sambas Malay tribe. These aromatic plants were considered valuable as a biology learning resource, receiving a score of 72% based on responses from teachers. This material can be applied in biodiversity lessons for 10th-grade high school students (SMA). Abstrak. Suku Melayu Sambas memanfaatkan tanaman aromatik untuk tradisi, pengobatan, dan kuliner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi spesies tanaman aromatik yang digunakan oleh suku Melayu Sambas dan menilai potensinya sebagai sumber belajar biologi. Menggunakan pendekatan etnografi dengan metode kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, identifikasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 26 spesies dari 18 famili tumbuhan teridentifikasi dalam tradisi adat, pengobatan, dan kuliner suku Melayu Sambas. Tanaman aromatik tersebut dinilai layak menjadi sumber belajar biologi dengan skor 72% berdasarkan angket respon dari guru. Materi ini dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati untuk kelas X SMA.
