Abstract

This study examined the mediating effect of students' self-efficacy on the relationship between entrepreneurial alertness (EA) and entrepreneurial skill development (ESD). This study employed a correlational survey research design to establish the relationship among the variables. The population of the study is 3423 senior secondary students in Enugu State.  The sample size is 379 students. Participants were purposely selected. The data were collected using the Entrepreneurial Alertness Questionnaire for Senior Secondary Students (EQS). The questionnaire's reliability was assessed using the Cronbach alpha and an overall reliability coefficient of 0.96 was obtained. Survey data were entered into SPSS and transferred to WarpPLS version 7.0 for analysis. Path analysis was used because it presents the network graphical relationship among variables. The path diagram and coefficients were utilized to answer the research questions, and the hypothesis was tested at a significance level of 0.05. There was a strong positive relationship between entrepreneurial alertness and skill development (β = 0.36; P=0.01) among senior secondary students. Students' self-efficacy was a significant mediator between entrepreneurial alertness and skill development which led to a 54% (r2 =54) variation in students’ entrepreneurship skills. This study concludes that students' self-efficacy significantly moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial alertness and skill development among secondary school students. Enhancing students' self-efficacy has both direct and indirect positive effects on their entrepreneurial skills development. Since self-efficacy significantly mediates the relationship between EA and ESD, educational administrators and teachers should ensure that instructional approaches stimulate secondary school students’ self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school facilities and technology on the demand for teacher labor. The study was conducted at 21 private high schools in Jambi City. This study uses quantitative methods in collecting and analyzing the data needed to answer the research questions. Data were analyzed using multiple regression statistical techniques. Based on the analysis, it shows that the school facility variable has a positive and significant effect on the demand for labor in the education sector. The more school facilities used by educational institutions, the higher the need for teacher labor used by the school. The technology variable has a positive and significant effect on the demand for labor in the education sector. The better the use of technology in managing schools, the more it will optimize the role of each sector in the school so that it will increasingly require the role of teacher labor. The regression model produced statistically has a fairly high ability to predict the effect of school facilities and technology on the demand for labor in the education sector because it is supported by an R-square value of 60.4%. Based on these findings, it is clear that good management of school facilities and technology will have an impact on increasing the demand for labor in the education sector.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze research themes, leading authors, and global collaboration networks in AI research within the financial services industry from 2019 to 2024 using bibliometric tools such as VOSviewer. Utilizing data from 226 Scopus-indexed publications, we identified five main research clusters: credit evaluation, fraud detection, investment management, personal banking services, and regulatory compliance. The number of publications increased from nine in 2019 to fifty-two in 2024, reflecting growing global collaboration across thirty-two countries in eight distinct groups. IEEE Access and the International Journal of Bank Marketing emerged as the top journals, with h-indices of 7 and 6, respectively. Co-citation analysis highlights evolving patterns in AI-based risk assessment and automated decision-making systems. The findings demonstrate the rapid integration of AI in financial services, driven in part by the COVID-19 pandemic, providing valuable insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers. This study lays the groundwork for further exploration of AI’s regulatory, transdisciplinary, and ethical dimensions in financial services.

Abstract

Social media platforms’ emergence and rapid growth have significantly transformed how consumers behave, especially within the beauty industry. In this realm, influencer marketing has evolved into a crucial strategy that brands increasingly rely on to connect with their audience. This research focuses on influencer reviews' impact on consumers' purchasing choices regarding The Originote skincare products. It considers various moderating factors, including convenience, interactivity, and the source's credibility, to understand this phenomenon comprehensively. This research delves into the intricate dynamics of consumer attitudes by examining various theoretical frameworks, including the Source Credibility Theory and the Theory of Planned Behavior. It specifically focuses on the pivotal roles that trustworthiness, expertise, and attractiveness play in shaping how consumers perceive social media influencers and the products they promote. Through this exploration, the study aims to uncover the underlying mechanisms that drive consumer behavior in the context of influencer marketing. A quantitative approach was utilized in this study, engaging 301 respondents who took part in a meticulously structured online survey. The analysis of the data gathered from a varied sample of consumers was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in conjunction with Partial Least Squares (PLS) methodology. The study results indicate that convenience and interactivity are crucial in shaping consumer attitudes toward influencers. The findings presented here offer significant insights for marketers looking to utilize influencers as effective advocates in promoting affordable and accessible skincare products such as The Originote.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the use of Microsoft Excel as a data processing tool in making letters in learning Indonesian correspondence. Learning Indonesian correspondence, which involves the skill of writing official and personal letters, often faces challenges in terms of time efficiency and difficulties in organizing information. Microsoft Excel, with its data processing and template creation features, is believed to help simplify and speed up the process of creating letters. This research was conducted using an experimental method with a total of 106 student respondents in the Office Administration Education study program, State University of Semarang, involving two groups: an experimental group with a total of 53 students using Microsoft Excel and a control group with a total of 53 students who used the manual method in making letters. The results showed that students who used Excel were more efficient in completing letter-making tasks, with an average shorter letter-making time compared to the control group. In addition, the quality of the letters produced by the experimental group is also better, with a more structured and rule-based format. The results of the questionnaire and observation showed that the majority of students felt helped by the use of Excel, although there were several obstacles faced related to understanding formulas and formatting settings. Overall, Microsoft Excel can be optimized in correspondence learning to improve students' efficiency, quality, and skills in letter creation.
