Abstract

Environmental concerns and convenience in buying decisions are all significant aspects of influencing consumer purchasing decisions in the modern period. Hence, they must be addressed in fundamental marketing techniques. This Study sought to explain the direct influence of environmental concerns, convenience, trust, and purchase intention as mediating variables in the purchasing decision.  The respondents in this study are SaladStop customers in Jakarta. This study's sample size is 160 respondents, selected using a purposive sampling technique and a Likert scale questionnaire using SmartPLS. This study's limitation is the quantity of sample only 160 respondents with only customers that ever consumed the product SaladStop. The study confirms that environmental concern, convenience, and trust have a positive and significant impact on purchase intention, and purchase intention has a positive and significant as mediating effect of trust on purchase decision.

Abstract

"Pluang" is a mobile investment innovation product featuring various assets such as gold, stocks, cryptocurrency, mutual funds, and indices. Initially introduced to the public in 2019, its adoption saw significant growth over the first three years. However, concerns emerged as user growth slowed down and complaints escalated due to perceived burdensome product innovations. Consequently, ensuring sustained adoption across diverse user groups necessitates immediate implementation of enhanced management strategies. This study aims to identify influential factors in adopting "Pluang," including reputation, self-efficacy, usage behavior, innovation, attitude toward use, intention to use, and ease of use using the Modified Technology Acceptance Model (M-TAM). Purposive sampling gathered responses from at least 200 users considering twice the minimum data required for variable interactions and anticipating data errors during processing. Analyzed via PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square - Structured Equation Modeling), the study revealed six significant correlations among nine hypotheses—particularly involving reputation, innovation, self-efficacy—and user attitudes toward use. These findings stress the importance of boosting application reputation, promoting continuous innovation, and optimizing training/promotional campaigns for better conversion of positive attitudes into strong usage intentions

Abstract

Studies show that financial literacy significantly influences financial decisions. Most research assesses current financial literacy based on past decisions, creating an endogeneity problem that leads to biased and inconsistent parameters, as financial literacy may have developed over time. This study examines endogeneity and its effects. It uses the financial condition of the oldest sibling as an instrumental variable to address endogeneity between young people's financial literacy and their decision to join the Government's stock investment program (Program Yuk Nabung Saham) during its early adoption. The respondents are graduate students from a reputable business school in Jakarta. The Control Function method is used to estimate the effect. Findings indicate that instrumented financial literacy significantly affects young people’s stock investment decisions. Individuals with low financial literacy have a minimal probability of investing, while those with all correct financial literacy have a 91.11% probability. Enhancing understanding of this issue will lead to a better basis for decision-making, even though these findings are intended to evaluate something other than that program.

Abstract

The integration of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) into healthcare systems promises significant enhancements in service quality and patient satisfaction. This study systematically reviews literature to assess the impacts of EMR implementation on healthcare efficacy and error reduction. EMRs are pivotal in transforming medical record-keeping by digitizing patient information, thereby facilitating swift access to patient histories, diagnostic data, and treatment plans. This not only assists healthcare professionals in making accurate clinical decisions but also mitigates the risks of allergic reactions and drug duplications. Furthermore, EMRs have been instrumental in reducing the administrative burdens on healthcare providers, streamlining workflows, and decreasing the likelihood of errors, which traditionally plagued paper-based systems. By enhancing the efficiency of the healthcare process, EMRs contribute directly to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction. The review explores diverse methodologies and findings from various studies, highlighting the nuanced benefits of EMRs, including their role in enhancing communication between providers and patients. The study also considers challenges in EMR implementation, such as initial costs and the need for training. Overall, the evidence strongly supports that EMRs are a cornerstone for advancing healthcare quality and patient care experiences. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of EMR utilization, offering insights for future research and implementation strategies to optimize healthcare services.

Abstract

The operational effectiveness of state-owned construction enterprises (SOEs) continues to grapple with persistent challenges that may impede achieving projected growth targets for 2025. This research investigates the underexplored mediating effects of employee engagement and job satisfaction in linking work-life balance to job performance, while also analyzing the impact of job stress and work overload on work-life balance—a relationship which previously unexamined in existing literature. Adopting a quantitative-explanatory research design, the study surveyed 266 employees of PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) using a 4-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted through Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Key findings reveal that job stress exhibits no statistically significant influence on work-life balance, whereas work overload positively correlates with enhanced work-life balance. Job satisfaction and employee engagement act as partial mediators between work-life balance and job performance, suggesting that these factors amplify—but do not fully account for—the relationship. The partial mediation mechanism underscores a strategic in which organizations must not only prioritize optimizing work-life balance to elevate job performance but also implement targeted strategies to cultivate intrinsic job satisfaction and sustained employee engagement.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to re-examine the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The hospitality industry in Indonesia, with its significant contribution to the economy, faces challenges in improving hotel performance, particularly reflected in the decline in revenue, as experienced by Hotel & Convention XYZ in Cirebon. This study also attempts to use the Person-Organization Fit (P-O Fit) theory as the theoretical foundation to analyze the relationships among the research variables. This study employs a quantitative-explanatory approach with a census sampling technique, involving 166 employees of Hotel & Convention XYZ in Cirebon who have worked for more than one year. Data was collected through a Likert scale 1-5 based questionnaire. The collected data was then analyzed using the SEM-PLS analysis method through the SmartPLS 4 application. The results of the study indicate that an organizational culture that is well internalized can improve overall employee performance. The study also shows that job satisfaction plays a partial mediating role, making it a potential strategic alternative for companies to improve employee performance, particularly in the hospitality industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) on Employee Green Behavior (EGB), mediated by Green Work Engagement (GWE) and moderated by Individual Green Values. GHRM plays a crucial role in encouraging employees to engage in environmentally friendly practices, yet its impact on EGB is not always consistent. Using a quantitative-explanatory approach, data were collected through questionnaires with a Likert scale distributed to 66 employees involved in sustainability programs at the resort. The results of this study indicate that GHRM and GWE can influence the EGB, GWE can mediates the relationship between GHRM and EGB, IGV can moderates the relationship between GHRM and EGB. Future studies are encouraged to examine the role of employee ambidexterity as a moderating factor in the relationship between GHRM and GWE on EGB. Moreover, it is recommended that future research adopts a longitudinal design and a mixed-methods approach to provide more in-depth insights into employee environmental behavior.
