Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman siswa dalam menghadapi pengaruh lingkungan belajar terhadap kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Inggris. Lingkungan belajar yang mendukung diyakini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa, namun bagaimana pengalaman siswa dalam lingkungan tersebut masih belum banyak dieksplorasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi pada sejumlah siswa dari berbagai latar belakang sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang belajar dalam lingkungan yang mendukung cenderung merasa lebih percaya diri dan termotivasi untuk berbicara dalam Bahasa Inggris, sementara siswa yang berada dalam lingkungan yang kurang mendukung menghadapi tantangan lebih besar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mereka.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Al-Qur'an Hadith learning strategies in improving students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an. Al-Qur'an Hadith learning is designed to train students to read according to tajwid rules, understand the contents of the verses, and apply Islamic values ​​in everyday life. The research method used is literature study by collecting data from various sources, including books, scientific journals and articles. The research results show that learning Al-Qur'an Hadith can improve the ability to read the Al-Qur'an, especially in the aspects of recitation, fluency and fluency. In addition, interactive teaching approaches, such as the use of digital media and personal guidance, have proven effective in motivating students. Support from family and the environment also makes a big contribution to the learning process. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for developing more innovative and effective Al-Qur'an Hadith teaching methods.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' interest in learning in Geography lessons in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research were the Geography teacher and 5 students in class XI IPS I SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentary studies, while data collection tools use observation sheets, teacher and student interview guides, and documentation. In the Geography learning process, there are factors that influence students' interest in learning. Interest is an interest in something so that we are moved to do that thing. Apart from that, interest is a psychological aspect that helps and encourages someone to fulfill their needs. There are two factors that influence students' interest in learning, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include curiosity, motivation and physical factors. Meanwhile, external factors include family, school and community environment.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter menjadi aspek fundamental dalam membangun generasi yang memiliki nilai moral dan etika yang tinggi. Guru memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui pendekatan pendidikan yang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam membentuk karakter siswa di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) ATTAQWA NF BEKASI. Karakter merupakan fondasi penting dalam pembentukan generasi bangsa yang berkualitas (Lickona, 1991). Guru, sebagai figur sentral di sekolah, memiliki peran signifikan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada siswa (Megawangi, 2018). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru di SDIT ATTAQWA NF BEKASI berperan aktif dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui berbagai strategi seperti menjadi teladan, mengintegrasikan nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran, memberikan penguatan positif, menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang kondusif, serta menjalin komunikasi yang baik dengan orang tua. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran guru sangat krusial dalam membentuk karakter siswa di SDIT ATTAQWA NF BEKASI dan merekomendasikan perlunya dukungan berkelanjutan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan efektivitas peran mereka dalam pendidikan karakter. Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of classroom management on student learning motivation. The research population was all fifth grade elementary school students, totaling 15 students who were selected using purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used in this research were questionnaires, observation, interviews, documentation. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research method using a quantitative approach. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of classroom management on the learning motivation of class IV students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Salman Dompu, with the Rtable test results obtained for the validity test, namely 0.413, which is greater than the Rcount. Meanwhile, through the Cronbach's Alpa reliability test, each variable showed a Cronbach Alpa result of >0.6, namely the reliability of class management statistics was 0.934 and the reliability of student learning motivation was 0.933. And the t test via the coefficient of significance on the variable shows a significance of 0.000<0.005 so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that the better the classroom management, the higher the student's learning motivation. Likewise, viceversa, the less classroom management, the lower the students' learning motivation

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the relationship between language learning strategies and student motivation in writing achievement. This study employed quantitative methods. The participants in the study were 14 seventh-grade students from a junior high school in Jember. In this study, the researcher utilized both a questionnaire and an interview, selecting a sample for the purpose. Two types of tools were employed: a questionnaire assessing language learning strategies and student motivation. The results indicated that the average score for the questionnaire was language acquisition 852 points. Subsequently, the average motivation score for students was 858. The data indicated that it was similarly classified as having a good correlation. From the data, the researcher obtained the correlation index: rxy was 1.710, indicating a strong correlation. This indicates a positive relationship between language learning strategies and student motivation in writing achievement

Abstract

This study aims to examine the forms and idiomatic meanings in the translated lyrics of the songs “Anaheim” and “Paths” by Nicole Zefanya (NIKI) based on Chitra Fernando’s theory of idioms and Peter Newmark’s translation methods. The idioms found in the lyrics are analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach to identify pure idioms, semi-idioms, and literal idioms, along with their meanings in emotional and cultural contexts. The results indicate that both songs make significant use of pure idioms. This use reflects the emotional depth and symbolism embedded in the lyrics. The translation methods employed in both songs include communicative, semantic, and literal translation methods. The communicative method is the most frequently applied, as it effectively conveys emotional messages and cultural context. The implications of this research lie in its contribution to applied linguistics and literary translation studies, particularly in understanding idioms as cultural expressions in modern music. This study is also beneficial for the teaching of idiomatic translation to produce more relevant and communicative translations.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media based on bilingual animation video for Past Experience material and to determine the effectiveness and feasibility of this media. The research method used is R&D which has been modified into seven stages, namely Research and Data Collection, Planning and Data Collection, Initial Product Form Development, Field Trial, Revision, Validation, Product Revision. The results in this study, the effectiveness of this learning media can be seen from the acquisition of pretest and posttest scores, namely pretest of 11% and posttest of 42%, which is the average value obtained from the number of students who reach the KKM. Then presented using a formula and from the calculation which means that forty-two percent of students have achieved the KKM score after using the media that has been developed by the researcher. The bilingual animated video-based learning media developed in this study was categorized as "very feasible". The assessment was obtained from the product validation results obtained by the validator, namely media experts with the results obtained as much as 88%, material experts with a score of 96% then linguists with a score of 88%.

Abstract

Introduction Bullying is a common occurrence in the school environment. Cases of bullying are still a culture, especially bullying by seniors against their juniors, therefore parents need to be more active in getting information about the dangers of bullying or bullying in today's .al world. Another consequence of bullying behavior is that it can lead someone to commit suicide. Methods: The design is a quasi-experimental, non-randomized, pretest-posttest, one-group design. The intervention was conducted to determine the effect of interpersonal communication with persuasive techniques on parents about the prevention of bullying in children at TK Aisyiyah Baitul Athfal PCA Bangsalsari Kabupaten Jember. The number of parents involved in the community service was 33 parents. The assessment used an IEQ (Intelligence Emotional Quotient) questionnaire sheet to determine the prevention of bullying behavior. The assessment was conducted twice before and after the intervention (non-randomized pretest-posttest one-group design). The intervention was conducted for 4 sessions in TK Aisyiyah Baitul Athfal PCA Bangsalsari Kabupaten Jember. The results of the analysis, which employed the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of α < 0.05, yielded a p-value of 0.016. This indicates a significant difference between the pre- and post-intervention measurements. The intervention, which employed a communication technique known as "communication-based persuasion" , focused on the prevention of bullying in the context of a learning environment at the TK Aisyiyah Baitul Athfal PCA Bangsalsari. Abstract

Surah Al-Fatihah as the opening chapter in the Qur'an contains profound educational values, both for educators and students. This article aims to examine the ideal characteristics of educators and students as implied in the content of Surah Al-Fatihah. By using a thematic approach (maudhū'ī) and the bil-ma'tsur and bil-ra'yi interpretation methods, this discussion shows that Al-Fatihah provides a foundation for spiritual, moral, and intellectual character in the educational relationship between educators and students. The results of the study show that Surah Al-Fatihah is not only a prayer, but also a basic principle of character formation in the process of Islamic education
