Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and explain the influence of capital structure, institutional ownership, dividend policy and company growth on share prices in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period, both simultaneously and partially. This research focuses on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period, totaling 179 companies. By using the purposive sampling method, a sample of 34 companies was obtained. The analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression model with descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The research results show that capital structure and institutional ownership have a negative and insignificant effect on share prices, dividend policy and company growth have a positive and significant effect on share prices.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of trust, service quality, information quality and ease of transactions on online fashion product purchasing decisions in Medan via the Shopee application. The population is all students at the Faculty of Economics, Management Study Program, Unika Santo Thomas and the maximum desired sample size is 96 people. Analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The research results show that the variables of trust, service quality, information quality and ease of transactions have a positive influence on purchasing decisions for online fashion products in Medan via the Shopee application. Based on the value = 56.982 > = 2.74, Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that trust, product quality, information quality and ease of transactions simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the trust value (5.771 > l (2.060), H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that trust has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The value (3.338) of product quality > (2.060) means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The value of information quality is (4.768) > (2.060), so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the quality of information has a positive and significant effect on product purchasing decisions. The value of ease of transaction is (2.812) > (2.060) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that ease of transaction has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R Square) = 0.901 means that 90.1% of purchasing decisions can be explained by the variables trust, service quality, information quality and ease of transaction and the rest Another 9.9% can be explained by other factors such as price and promotions, which were not included in the study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job descriptions, career paths and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Agrinesia Raya Medan. The research method used was quantitative, with a sample of 54 respondents participating, which was taken by purposive sampling. Data analysis in this study used SPSS version 25.00. The results of the t test show that partially job descriptions, career paths and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The F test shows that simultaneously job descriptions, career paths and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination of 0.632 means that employee performance can be explained by job description, career path and work motivation variables of 63.2%, while the other 36.8% is explained by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This study seeks to ascertain the impact of emotional intelligence, personality traits, and work loyalty on employee performance at PT. Prima Inti Nusa Medan. Data was collected using surveys, documentation, and interviews. The research approach employed was quantitative, with 33 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The data in this study was analyzed using SPSS version 26.00. The findings indicate that emotional intelligence, individual qualities, and work loyalty have a partly favorable effect on employee performance.The coefficient of determination is 0.839, indicating that 83.9% of employee performance can be explained by the variables of emotional intelligence, individual traits, and job loyalty, with the remaining 16.1% explained by factors not addressed in this study.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and explain the influence of financial leverage, liquidity, earnings per share (EPS), and return on assets (ROA) on stock returns in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sector on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. either simultaneously or partially. The population in this study was 72 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique to obtain a sample of 24 companies with a research period of 4 years. The analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression model with descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the t test research show that the Financial Leverage variable (Debt to Equity Ratio) has a negative and insignificant effect on stock returns, Liquidity (Current Ratio) has a positive and significant effect on stock returns, Earning Per Share (EPS) has a positive and significant effect on stock returns, Return on Assets (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on stock returns in Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sector on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. And the results of the F test show that the independent variables, namely Financial Leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio), Liquidity (Current Ratio), Earning Per Share (EPS) and Return On Assets (ROA) have a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely Stock Returns in Food Sector Manufacturing Companies. and Beverage on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The coefficient of determination is 40.3%, meaning that variations in Financial Leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio), Liquidity (Current Ratio), Earning Per Share (EPS) and Return on Assets (ROA) are able to explain variations in stock returns of 40.3%. Meanwhile, the remaining 59.7% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the influence of personal selling and direct marketing on increasing the sales volume of Beat motorbikes at PT. Honda Indako Binjai. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 92 consumers who purchased Honda Beat motorbikes at PT. Honda Indako Binjai. The testing technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, F test and t test. Data processing using SPSS version 25. The research results show that simultaneously personal selling and direct marketing have a positive and significant effect on increasing sales volume with 5 percent. Partially, it shows that personal selling and direct marketing have a positive and significant effect on increasing sales volume with 5 percent. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value is 0.676, meaning that the increase in sales volume can be explained by personal selling and direct marketing by 67.6%, while another 32.4% is explained by other factors not explained in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the effect of work ethic, organizational culture and employee commitment on employee performance at the Palm Oil Research Center (PPKS) Marihat Unit Pematang Siantar. The population in this study were 230 permanent employees and the number of samples through the slovin formula with a total of 70 permanent employees. The analysis techniques used in this study are validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination (R2) using the help of SPSS Version 25. The results showed that there was an influence between the independent variables, namely work ethic, organizational culture and employee commitment on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. From the results of simultaneous testing (F test) shown in the Fcount value of (90,680) > Ftable (2.51) it can be concluded that work ethic, organizational culture and employee commitment have a simultaneous and significant effect on employee performance. From the results of partial testing (t test) obtained the value of Work Ethic tcount (6,951) > t table (1,668), Organizational Culture tcount value (4,761) > t table (1,668) and Employee Commitment tcount value (5,359) > t table (1,668). This means that Work Ethic, Organizational Culture and Employee Commitment have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Palm Oil Research Center (PPKS) Marihat Unit Pematang Siantar. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.805. This means that variations in Employee Performance can be explained by variations in Work Ethic, Organizational Culture and Employee Commitment by 80.5% while 19.5% can be explained by other factors not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of occupational health and safety on employee performance at CV. Prima Baja Bahana Raya Tanjung Morawa. The total population of  this study is 54 people. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression with equation K = 4.429 + 0.234 X1 + 0.627 X2 + e The results of the analysis show that occupational health and safety have a positive effect on the performance of employees of CV Prima Baja Bahana Raya Tanjung Morawa. From the results of the partial test, the t-test value for the health variable is more then 2.117  t table l 675 with a significance level of 0.039 less than equal 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. That is, health has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The t-test value for the work safety variable is 4.934 more than t table 1.675 with a significance level of 0.000 less than equal 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. That is, work safety has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at CV Prima Baja Bahana Raya Tanjung Morawa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and explain the effect of duration and convexity on bond prices in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period. To achieve this aim, research was carried out using purposive sampling techniques, thus obtaining a sample of 11 banking companies that issued bonds with a research period of five years. The analysis model used is a multiple linear regression model. The research results show that: First, duration has a positive and significant effect on bond prices, convexity has a positive and insignificant effect on bond prices. The ability of duration and convexity to explain variations in bond prices is 2.9 percent. Second, duration has a positive and significant effect on bond prices, convexity has a negative and significant effect on bond prices in the discount price group. Duration has a positive and significant effect on bond prices, convexity has a positive and significant effect on bond prices in the premium price group. The ability of duration and convexity to explain variations in bond prices is in the range of 92.8-94.4 percent.

Abstract

The study aims to predict financial distress through the financial ratio variables Return on Asset, Return On Equity, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Current Ratio, and Non-Performing Loan, from one, two and three years before occurring in banking companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The population in this study is 47 banking companies. Sampling techniques are purposive sampling according to certain criteria so that 35 samples are obtained from the company. Data obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the years 2019-2022. The data analysis technique used in this study is logistic regression analysis. The results of the research show that the return on asset, return on equity, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Current ratio, and Non-Performing Loan, together, significantly influenced the probability of financial distress in banking companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for one, two and three years before it occurred. The degree of accuracy of the prediction of the influence of the financial variable ratio on the probability of financial distress for one, two and three years before having suffered financial distresses was 88.6 per cent, 88.6, and 82.9 per cent. The test results partially showed that the Return on Asset from the first, second and third years before the financial distress has a positive and non-significant effect on the likelihood of financial distress, the Return on Equity from one, two and three years before the financial distress had a negative and significant impact on the probability of the financial distress, the Loan to Deposit Ratio from one, two and three years before the financial distress had a negative and significant impact on the probability of the financial distress, the Ratio of Current Ratio from one and two years before financial distress has a negative and no significant effect on financial distress probability, and the Non-Performing Loan from three years prior to financial distress have a significant negative and positive impact on financial distress probability.
