Abstract

The problem in this study is hyperactive behavior in early childhood so that children cannot adjust to the environment. In this study, researchers used qualitative methods with data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the final observation, HS has shown an increase in behavioral changes in interacting with his friends. HS began to show a positive attitude to want to play with his friends, HS has dared to join his friends to follow the traditional game activities of broken cans even though HS has not played according to the rules of the game. HS began to focus on the teacher's instructions when told to arrange the cans in the shape of a tower even though it did not last long about 3 minutes. HS has been able to control himself to patiently wait for his turn even if only briefly. HS screamed with joy when he successfully kicked the ball into the cans that had been neatly arranged so that it fell apart. But at that time HS was still unable to control his emotions, HS cried hysterically when he fell because he was wrong to kick the ball for a long time.

Abstract

The prevalence of conventional learning carried out by teachers where learning is still teacher-centered results in low child creativity, an approach that encourages increased child creativity is needed. One approach that allegedly increases children's creativity is through a differentiated learning process. Creativity is generating new ideas, solving problems, and thinking outside conventional boundaries. Differentiated learning is a strategy in which all children have the same learning goals, but teachers vary teaching methods to meet children's needs and vary the complexity of tasks and learning support for each child. Through this approach, teachers can design learning experiences that are relevant, challenging, and interesting for children. Differentiated learning can increase creativity in early childhood; First, this approach allows the teacher to understand each child's individual needs and provide appropriate support. Second, by emphasizing diverse learning experiences, children have the opportunity to develop their imagination, develop new ideas, and overcome creative challenges. The purpose of this paper is to analyze how to create differentiated learning strategies that can be used to increase creativity in early childhood. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Differentiation learning encourages teachers to use interesting materials, organize creative learning spaces, provide challenges that are appropriate to the child's developmental level, and provide positive and constructive feedback. Through a differentiated learning approach, children can develop their creative potential from an early age, which will positively impact their future development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how to implement of assessment in observing the development of Raudhatul Athfal in Sagulung district using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection was used by questionnaire method from 28 respondents consisting of 88.5% of University graduates and 50% of them have more than 5 years of teaching experience. Triangulation technique use data analysis through several processes, namely data reduction, data presentation and making conclusion. This study aims to analyze the assessment process and the types of instruments teachers used in classroom. Researchers identify barriers faced by teachers and provide solutions so that these problems can prevent or suppressed so that they do not become things that cause the learning process to be constrained or disrupted. The result showed that teachers were dominants, around 53.8% did a checklist. In addition, there were 50% of respondents who answered that in conducting their assessment they only observed during the learning process, did not take notes, document or record. Forgetting and erroneous elements can occur when giving assessments or explanations in the assessment instruments used because the teacher only gives assessments from memory. This makes the validity of the teacher's assessment results inaccurate and doubtful. Other research results found that there were differences in family background, the number of children in one class, children often did not come to school and teachers did not make use of digital facilities and this was an obstacle in the implementation of the assessment.

Abstract

Brain development in early childhood is an important stage in laying the foundation for cognitive, emotional and motor skills in the future. Gross motor stimulation is an important aspect in optimizing children's brain development. Previous research has shown that teaching methods related to educational neuroscience can accelerate and strengthen a child's brain learning. This study aimed to identify the potential use of educational neuroscience-based activity books as an effective motor stimulation tool in early childhood. This study used a qualitative approach consisting of aged children 4-6 years with their parents. The motor skills of the children in this intervention improved compared to the control group that did not receive the intervention. In addition, parents also reported positive changes in their child's behavior and motor skills after using this activity book. This study shows that the use of neuroscience educational activity books can be an effective strategy for increasing gross motor stimulation and brain development in early childhood. The results of this research can help develop more effective learning methods that focus on motor stimulation in early childhood. It is hoped that this research can provide a basis for further development of the use of pedagogical neuroscience in early childhood education.
