Abstract

This research aims to determine how to implement of assessment in observing the development of Raudhatul Athfal in Sagulung district using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection was used by questionnaire method from 28 respondents consisting of 88.5% of University graduates and 50% of them have more than 5 years of teaching experience. Triangulation technique use data analysis through several processes, namely data reduction, data presentation and making conclusion. This study aims to analyze the assessment process and the types of instruments teachers used in classroom. Researchers identify barriers faced by teachers and provide solutions so that these problems can prevent or suppressed so that they do not become things that cause the learning process to be constrained or disrupted. The result showed that teachers were dominants, around 53.8% did a checklist. In addition, there were 50% of respondents who answered that in conducting their assessment they only observed during the learning process, did not take notes, document or record. Forgetting and erroneous elements can occur when giving assessments or explanations in the assessment instruments used because the teacher only gives assessments from memory. This makes the validity of the teacher's assessment results inaccurate and doubtful. Other research results found that there were differences in family background, the number of children in one class, children often did not come to school and teachers did not make use of digital facilities and this was an obstacle in the implementation of the assessment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of reading and writing literacy on the understanding and acceptance of Islamic values in early childhood at Putra II Kindergarten, Serang District. Using associative method and quantitative approach, this study examines the relationship between the independent variable, namely reading and writing literacy, and the dependent variable, namely understanding and acceptance of Islamic values. This study used SPSS version 24 software to analyze numerical data obtained from questionnaires and observations. The research subjects were early childhood children with an age range of 4 to 6 years old with a total of 54 children. This research is required to make an important contribution to the development of more effective Islamic religious education methods at the early childhood education level. The hypothesis tested is that there is a positive and significant influence between reading and writing literacy and understanding of Islamic values in early childhood. The research was conducted at TK Putra II Serang from May to June 2024. The limited time for data collection and analysis may have affected the findings. This research will also analyze the long-term impact of implementing learning that integrates literacy and Islamic values in early childhood. Thus, this study can provide empirical evidence on the benefits and effectiveness of this approach in preparing children to have good literacy skills and a strong understanding and appreciation of religious values. The results showed that the value of r is smaller than the level a used which is 0.000 or 0.000 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant effect of reading and writing skills on Islamic values at Putra II Serang Kindergarten

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of loose part media on the learning interest of Group B children at TK Nasional Plus Tunas Global. Learning interest is a crucial factor in the success of early childhood education, and engaging learning media can enhance children's motivation to learn. Loose part media, consisting of manipulable materials, provides children with opportunities to explore and create. The research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample involves two groups of children, with one group receiving the loose part media intervention and the other serving as a control. Observation instruments are used to measure learning interest indicators such as curiosity, interest, attention, involvement, and persistence. The results indicate that the use of loose part media has a significant positive effect on children's learning interest. Children who engaged with loose part media showed higher increases in learning interest compared to the control group. These findings affirm the importance of innovative and interactive teaching approaches in early childhood education.The study provides practical implications for educators and parents in selecting and using appropriate learning media to support optimal growth and development in young children. It also offers a foundation for further research on the impact of loose part media on other aspects of child development

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji model pembelajaran sentra berbasis holistik yang memanfaatkan media Koja Tamu sebagai alat pendukung dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di RA Al Falah, Cipayung, Jakarta Timur. Model pembelajaran sentra, yang dikenal sebagai pendekatan Beyond Centers and Circle Time (BCCT), berfokus pada pengembangan potensi anak secara menyeluruh melalui tiga jenis bermain: sensorimotor, peran, dan konstruktif. Media Koja Tamu, atau kotak ajaib Taman Ilmu, adalah media pembelajaran berbahan dasar barang bekas yang dirancang untuk menyatukan berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran dalam satu kotak, sehingga dapat membantu anak berperan aktif, memecahkan masalah, dan mengembangkan keterampilan sosial serta kognitif. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data dari hasil kegiatan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran sentra berbasis holistik dengan media Koja Tamu berhasil memfasilitasi perkembangan anak dalam aspek kognitif, bahasa, motorik, dan sosial-emosional. Media ini tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman anak, tetapi juga memberikan kesempatan bagi mereka untuk mengeksplorasi lingkungan dan belajar melalui pengalaman langsung. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran sentra berbasis holistik dengan penggunaan media Koja Tamu mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan relevan bagi anak-anak. This research examines a holistic-based center learning model that utilizes Koja Tamu media as a supporting tool in early childhood education at RA Al Falah, Cipayung, East Jakarta. The center-based learning model, known as the Beyond Centers and Circle Time (BCCT) approach, focuses on developing children's full potential through three types of play: sensorimotor, role-playing, and constructive. The Koja Tamu media, or Taman Ilmu magic box, is a learning media made from used goods designed to bring together various learning activities in one box, so that it can help children play an active role, solve problems, and develop social and cognitive skills. The study used a qualitative approach with an action research method, involving observation, interviews, and data analysis of the results of activities in the field. The results show that the holistic-based center learning model with Koja Tamu media successfully facilitates children's development in cognitive, language, motor and social-emotional aspects. This media is not only effective in increasing children's interest and understanding, but also provides opportunities for them to explore the environment and learn through direct experience. The conclusion shows that the holistic-based center learning model with the use of Koja Tamu media supports the implementation of meaningful and relevant learning for children.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) adalah fondasi penting dalam pengembangan potensi anak, terutama dalam aspek kognitif, sosial, dan emosional. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan manajemen program pembelajaran di TKN Jagakarsa 01 dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara, ditemukan kesenjangan perkembangan siswa yang menunjukkan perlunya perbaikan dalam manajemen pembelajaran. Metode pengajaran yang variatif dan penggunaan media ajar interaktif diidentifikasi sebagai kunci untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Evaluasi terstruktur secara berkala juga terbukti penting untuk menyesuaikan strategi pengajaran sesuai kebutuhan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan manajemen program pembelajaran yang efektif tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, tetapi juga mendorong kreativitas guru dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis. Early childhood education (ECE) is an important foundation in developing children's potential, especially in cognitive, social and emotional aspects. This study analyzes the implementation of learning program management in TKN Jagakarsa 01 and its impact on education quality. Based on observations and interviews, gaps in student development were found, indicating the need for improvement in learning management. Varied teaching methods and the use of interactive teaching media were identified as key to improving student engagement. Periodic structured evaluations also proved important to adjust teaching strategies according to students' needs. The results show that implementing effective learning program management not only improves the quality of education, but also encourages teacher creativity and creates a dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

Stunting adalah kegagalan tumbuh kembang anak di bawah usia lima tahun yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi kronis sehingga mengakibatkan anak menjadi terlalu kecil untuk usianya. Meskipun pertumbuhan baru terjadi pada anak hingga usia dua tahun, namun gizi buruk sebenarnya bisa terjadi sejak dalam kandungan atau sesaat setelah lahir. Penelitian ini bersifat observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di Desa Gunung Maddah, Kabupaten Sampang dengan sasaran 54 balita. Akibat Minimnya warga desa mengenai gizi kurang yang dapat menyebabkan stunting, maka mahasiswa KKN bekerja sama dengan Aparatur Desa untuk memberikan emodemo mengenai gizi dan pembuatan serta pengolahan PMT dari bahan lokal. Kegiatan ini berisikan tentang himbauan pencegahan serta penanganan gizi kurang dengan tepat dan terjangkau. Lalu dampak kesenjangan yang terjadi bila tidak menerapkan gizi yang baik bisa menyebabkan stunting pada anak. Dari kegiatan ini, hasil target yang ingin dicapai mahasiswa KKN adalah warga yang memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi sehingga kegiatan pelaksanan ini berjalan dengan lancar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the value of bhayangkara in the implementation of P5 reinforcement at Bhayangkari 01 Serang Kindergarten. Using associative methods and quantitative approaches, this study examines the relationship between the independent variable, namely the SALUD program, and the dependent variable, namely the emergence of learning outcomes on the value of bhayangkara. This study uses SPSS version 24 software to analyze numerical data obtained from assessment and observation sheets. The subjects of the study were early childhood children aged 4 to 6 years with a total of 60 children. This study is expected to provide an important contribution to the development of learning methods by involving parties outside the school to improve the value of bhayangkara. The hypothesis tested is that there is a positive and significant influence between the SALUD program and the indicator of the emergence of learning outcomes on the value of bhayangkara. This study was conducted at Bhayangkari 01 Serang Kindergarten in June - August 2024. The results of the bivariate analysis reported that the odds ratio (OR) 3.4; P value: 0.002 <0.05; 95% CI: 1.63 – 7.37. The interpretation of this result is that the SALUD program is able to increase the emergence of learning outcomes in the diversity dimension in Bhayangkari Kindergarten students 3 times higher and is statistically significant. Based on the results of the multivariate analysis, it is known that the SALUD program still has a significant effect on improving learning outcomes in Kemala Bhayangkari 01 Serang Kindergarten students p value 0.018 <0.05. This result remains significant even though there are differences in gender and age

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Character-Based Holistic Learning Model (PBHK) which focuses on the nine pillars of character in instilling an attitude of independence in early childhood at Nurul A'in Kindergarten. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The CBHE model aims to educate children to become individuals who are not only cognitively intelligent, but also have strong morality and independence. The nine pillars of character in the CBHE model include love of God, independence, discipline, honesty, respect, compassion, caring, fairness, and self-confidence. The implementation of CBHE in Nurul A'in Kindergarten is done through three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, teachers compile teaching modules that include learning objectives and materials. In the implementation stage, learning is carried out every day with a gradual method: knowing feeling (Monday and Tuesday), telling a story (Wednesday and Thursday), and acting feeling (Friday) which involves various media such as storybooks and hand puppets. Evaluation is done through daily assessments categorized in developmental milestones, such as Not Yet Appearing (BM), Less Appearing (KM), Already Appearing (SM), and Consistent (K). The results show that the implementation of this model is effective in shaping children's independence, although there are challenges such as time constraints and less than optimal parental support. This study recommends close collaboration between schools and parents to ensure consistency of character education at home and at school

Abstract

This study develops and evaluates "The Adventure of the Little Rabbit," an interactive board game designed to enhance early childhood literacy. Using the ADDIE model within a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the game was tested with 30 children and 2 teachers at RA Istiqlal Jakarta. Expert validation confirmed its educational value, clarity, and design suitability, with feasibility scores ranging from 75.5% to 81%. A pre-test and post-test showed significant improvements in letter recognition, phonemic awareness, word formation, and writing skills. Observations and teacher feedback highlighted high engagement and motivation among children. The results indicate that the board game is an effective and engaging tool for literacy development. Future research should explore its long-term impact and broader applications.

Abstract

Instilling religious values from an early age is the foundation for forming children’s character. In Islamic education, the method of telling the story of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) can be an effective means of instilling these values. This study aims to analyze the use of the method of telling the story of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH in learning Islamic religious education in early childhood at Rausan Fikri Kindergarten, Bekasi Regency, as well as exploring the religious character instilled, the effectiveness of the method, and the factors that influence it. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of the storytelling method with a serial approach and the use of visual media can attract children’s attention, increase understanding of the concept of religious values, and foster religious characters such as honesty, patience, affection, tawakal, and love for the Prophet PBUH. Everyday. However, internalizing values must be continuously strengthened because early childhood interests are easily distracted. The child’s internal factors, the teacher’s skills, and support from parents significantly affect the effectiveness of this method. The conclusion of this study underscores the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents in strengthening the cultivation of religious character through fun and contextual storytelling methods.
