Abstract

This community service activity was conducted by lecturers from Universitas Pattimura at SMA Negeri 57 Central Maluku to introduce physics learning through a project-based STEAM approach. The focus was on renewable energy, implemented through a hands-on project of building gas-powered mini cars. Students were actively engaged in collaborative learning, which significantly enhanced their enthusiasm, creativity, and understanding of the concept of work. Evaluation showed the approach to be effective, though a longer project duration is recommended for optimal outcomes. This activity is expected to serve as a model for innovative science learning and to strengthen the partnership between universities and schools. Keywords: STEAM, Project, Higher- order thinking.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani inklusif merupakan pendekatan dalam dunia pendidikan yang memberikan peluang kepada semua siswa termasuk mereka yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus—untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam berbagai aktivitas fisik dan olahraga. Prinsip utama dalam pembelajaran PJOK adalah mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa serta menumbuhkan rasa senang selama melakukan aktivitas fisik. Dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif, layanan pendidikan jasmani diberikan kepada seluruh anak dengan berbagai karakteristik, termasuk peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Di sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif, terdapat siswa dengan beragam jenis hambatan, seperti hambatan penglihatan, pendengaran, motorik, komunikasi, perhatian, emosi, perilaku, maupun sosial. Setiap siswa berhak memperoleh pendidikan jasmani yang mampu mendukung kebutuhan dan mengatasi hambatan yang mereka miliki. Oleh karena itu, proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani menjadi lebih menantang bagi guru, karena mereka harus memastikan bahwa setiap anak mendapatkan kesempatan bergerak yang sesuai dan mampu mengembangkan potensi dirinya secara optimal. Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) dirancang berorientasi pada aktivitas yang mencakup berbagai bentuk gerak jasmani, olahraga, serta upaya menjaga kesehatan yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan peserta didik. Namun, dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi yang begitu cepat, penting bagi sekolah-sekolah untuk tetap berusaha mengintegrasikan kemajuan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini sejalan dengan temuan penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dapat membantu dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran, layanan bimbingan, pembelajaran bahasa, dan layanan perpustakaan online. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan pembelajaran inklusif di Era digital. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Inklusif, Pendidikan Jasmani, Era Digital

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve teachers' competence in designing and developing effective learning evaluation instruments, which in turn is expected to improve the quality of student learning outcomes in PJOK learning. The method used in this service is the Technical Assistance Model in the form of training. The partners in this service are elementary school PJOK teachers in Maluku Tengara Regency, totaling 18 people. The instruments used to measure the achievement of the training activities were pre-tests and post-tests. The test results were then analyzed descriptively. The results of this training and mentoring showed an increase of 18% and were in the “moderate” category.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aimed to enhance the English-speaking skills of teenagers from SMTPI Jemaat GPM Imanuel Karang Panjang Ambon through the English for Daily Conversation training. Conducted over one month (October 2–30, 2025), the program consisted of nine sessions covering basic conversational topics such as introductions, family, hobbies, and expressing opinions. The training employed Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Task-Based Learning (TBL) approaches, combining interactive tasks and simple digital media. Results from the pre-test and post-test revealed significant improvement: no participants scored in the Fair or Poor categories; five reached Excellent and fifteen achieved Good. Beyond linguistic improvement, participants developed greater confidence and motivation to use English in daily life. Moreover, the program inspired the Church Council’s Education Division to consider implementing similar training in other subjects such as Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology should God permit.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to introduce students in the German Language Education Study Program with online reservations using the Check 24 platform, a prominent online service in Germany. This activity addresses the requirements of the tourism industry's workforce, specifically in online reservation tasks, which are expanding in tandem with advancements in digital technology and social demands. Future graduates must possess digital abilities, particularly knowledge, comprehension, and proficiency in utilising online platforms. This exercise employs the Experiential Learning technique, which prioritises direct experience as the fundamental source of learning. This method comprises many stages: 1) Introduction to the content, 2) Concrete experience, and 3) Reflection on the experience. The activity's results indicate that the 10 participants possess not only the capability to utilise the Check 24 platform effectively but also the intrinsic drive for independent and proactive learning, as well as self-development in line with the demands of the labour market, particularly within the tourist sector.
