Abstract

Objective: This study aims to explore how cynicism, organizational spirituality, and the reciprocal relationship between these elements influence employee job satisfaction. Methodology: This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research data were taken from ATC employees at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The research instrument was a questionnaire, which was then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. Findings: The results of the study revealed that organizational cynicism has a significant negative relationship with employee job satisfaction. However, this finding also shows that organizations can reduce the negative impact through efforts to build a positive organizational culture, as well as increasing spirituality in the organization. Conclusion: To overcome cynicism, organizations need to take strategic steps, such as strengthening communication, increasing transparency, and enforcing fairness in policies. These efforts can have a positive impact on overall employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Objectives: This study explores the impact of the implementation of the Omnibus Law—specifically the employment cluster—on industrial relations management and human resource management (HRM) in Indonesia. Methodology: Employing a qualitative approach, the research integrates semi-structured interviews, literature reviews, and Analytic Network Process (ANP) analysis to identify challenges, solutions, and appropriate implementation strategies. Finding: The findings reveal that the Omnibus Law introduces flexibility in managing industrial relations and HRM but also poses significant challenges, such as shifts in employment patterns, increased tensions between workers and employers, and concerns over worker welfare. Opposition from labor unions centers on issues such as the reduction of labor rights, the removal of limitations on fixed-term contracts, and flexibility that is perceived to disadvantage workers. Based on the analysis, an implementation model is proposed emphasizing sustainable tripartite dialogue, strengthening union capacity, welfare-oriented flexible work policies, and technology-based supervision. Conclusion: This study offers strategic recommendations for fostering harmonious industrial relations and effective HRM within the framework of the Omnibus Law.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to analyze the impact of green training and green compensation and rewards on employee performance through employee engagement in a paint manufacturing company in Tangerang. Methodology: Using a quantitative survey approach, 130 respondents were selected via probability sampling. Data analysis was conducted with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS) software. Finding: The results indicate that green training and green compensation and rewards have a positive and significant impact on employee engagement. However, green training and green compensation and rewards do not have a significant direct effect on employee performance. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and fully mediates the relationship between green training and employee performance, as well as between green compensation and rewards and employee performance. Conclusion: Green HRM practices such as green training and green compensation and rewards can effectively enhance employee performance when mediated by employee engagement. This highlights the importance of fostering employee engagement as a critical link between Green HRM initiatives and performance outcomes.

Abstract

Objectives: This study examines the influence of shopping value on e-WoM activity intention, with self-congruity and shopping well-being as mediating variables, within the context of shopping malls featuring green open spaces in Indonesia.Methodology: A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing data collected from 199 respondents through a 7-point Likert scale questionnaire. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the Disjoint Two-Stage Approach, which distinguishes between lower-order and higher-order components to ensure robust statistical analysis.Findings: The results indicate that shopping value has a significant positive effect on self-congruity and shopping well-being; however, its direct effect on e-WoM activity intention is not supported. Furthermore, shopping well-being exhibits a significant mediating effect in this relationship, whereas self-congruity does not demonstrate statistical significance as a mediator. Conclusion: These findings highlight the critical role of consumer emotional well-being in fostering e-WoM activity. The study provides valuable managerial insights, emphasizing the importance of sustainable green spaces in enhancing consumer engagement and enriching the shopping experience.
