Abstract

Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency has considerable human resource potential and local economic capacity; however, these have not been optimally supported by adequate knowledge management and entrepreneurial skills. This community service activity aims to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in applying knowledge management as a foundation for entrepreneurial development. The program was implemented through interactive lectures, group discussions, case studies, and simple practical activities involving 30 participants consisting of beginner entrepreneurs and productive community members in a one-day training session.The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of knowledge creation, storage, sharing, and utilization, as well as increased motivation and readiness to develop their businesses creatively and innovatively. This activity contributes to fostering an adaptive and competitive entrepreneurial community in Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency..

Abstract

The book Hidup Itu Harus Pintar Ngegas dan Ngerem by Emha Ainun Najib is a reflective work that employs symbolic language to convey ideas about life balance, spiritual awareness, and human values. This study aims to describe the types of semantic meanings and to reveal the moral and spiritual messages embedded in the reflective language of the book. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. The data consist of selected sentences and expressions containing figurative meaning, conceptual metaphors, conceptual–religious meaning, and metaphorical idioms. Data were collected through close reading and note-taking techniques, while data analysis was conducted contextually based on semantic theory. The findings indicate that the language used in the book is dominated by figurative meaning and conceptual metaphors that function to map abstract concepts of life and faith into concrete everyday experiences. In addition, conceptual–religious meanings and metaphorical idioms are used to convey ethical values, Sufi perspectives, and social criticism indirectly. These findings confirm that Emha Ainun Najib’s reflective language serves as a medium of contemplation and life learning that emphasizes the balance between courage and self-control.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the persistence of patriarchal structures in society that limit women’s roles, life choices, and autonomy, which are also represented in literary works. One work that reflects this condition is the drama script Bunga Rumah Makan by Utuy Tatang Sontani. This study aims to describe the forms of patriarchal domination experienced by the character Ani and to reveal the forms of resistance and self-liberation she undertakes. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a textual analysis approach. The research data consist of dialogues and stage directions in the drama script that illustrate power relations between male and female characters. The data are analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using a feminist perspective. The findings show that the character Ani experiences various forms of patriarchal domination, including subordination, gender stereotyping, objectification, restriction of mobility, and verbal violence. This study concludes that Bunga Rumah Makan represents women as agents of self-liberation who struggle to break free from patriarchal structures, thereby positioning literary works as a medium of social and gender critique.

Abstract

Background: Tetanus is a serious infectious disease caused by the bacterium Clostridium tetani. Tetanus often causes symptoms of muscle spasms, especially in the jaw and neck area. Clostridium tetani bacteria are commonly found in soil, dust, human and animal feces that produce exotoxins. These bacteria can infect the body through improper wound care. Lack of public knowledge regarding tetanus prevention management can result in complications and even death. Providing health education is one effort that can be done to increase public knowledge in preventing tetanus in wounds. Objective: This health education activity aims to increase public understanding and knowledge in preventing tetanus, especially in patients at risk, namely patients with wounds. Method: Health education is carried out through interactive lecture methods, and distribution of information media in the form of leaflets. Evaluation is carried out using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure the level of knowledge of participants. Results: A significant increase was seen from the pre-test results of 40% correct answers to 80% correct answers after health education. Conclusion: Health education is effective in increasing public literacy regarding tetanus prevention. Ongoing support from the community health center is essential to ensure safe wound care practices in the home environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of computer networks has increased the demand for vocational students to master not only theoretical concepts but also practical networking skills. However, many vocational high school students still experience difficulties in applying networking concepts in real or simulated environments. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ understanding and technical skills in computer networking and data communication through simulation-based training using Cisco Packet Tracer. The activity was conducted at SMK Negeri 01 Banyumas and involved students of grade XI majoring in Computer and Network Engineering. The method used consisted of initial observation, preparation of training materials, delivery of theoretical concepts, hands-on simulation practice, and evaluation of participants’ responses. The results showed an improvement in students’ ability to configure basic network devices, understand IP addressing and subnetting, and analyze data communication processes through simulation. In addition, students demonstrated increased awareness of network security and digital ethics. This activity indicates that simulation-based training is an effective approach to strengthen vocational students’ competencies in computer networking and data communication.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social and religious values contained in the drama script Hanya Satu Kali performed by Teater Langit Biru SMAN 1 Sooko. Using a qualitative descriptive method and a sociology of literature approach, data were collected through repeated reading and note-taking of dialogues and scenes reflecting social and religious aspects. The results show that the drama strongly presents social values such as solidarity, empathy, responsibility, and sacrifice, which shape character interactions and drive the plot. Furthermore, religious values, including patience, sincerity, and spiritual awareness, emerge dominantly through the main character's inner conflict when facing life and death. The integration of these two dimensions offers profound moral and spiritual messages. This study concludes that Hanya Satu Kali is a literary work relevant for character education and can be utilized as an effective medium for literature learning in schools.

Abstract

Learning progress will only be achieved if the environment is supportive; therefore, parents are expected to act more wisely regarding providing pocket money. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey research method employing a questionnaire to investigate the relationship between pocket money and mathematics learning outcomes among sixth-grade elementary school students at Karangtengah 2 Elementary School. A total of 17 students participated as the sample in this study. Information was collected through questionnaires and relevant documentation reviews. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistical methods. The R square test analysis yielded a result of 0.0174, indicating that the influence of pocket money on mathematics learning outcomes is 1.74%, while 98.26% is influenced by other variables not examined. Based on these findings, there is a positive, though not significant, relationship between the provision of pocket money and the level of motivation in learning mathematics among students. Additionally, the findings indicate a potential positive relationship with motivation, but the direct effect on learning outcomes is minimal and not statistically significant among sixth grade students at Karangtengah 2 Elementary School.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the competency of teachers at the Sunniyyah Selo Grobogan Islamic Senior High School in utilizing video-based multimedia learning using the Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) application as a means of supporting a more interactive teaching and learning process. The main problems faced by partners were the low utilization of digital learning media, teachers' limited knowledge regarding screen recording and audiovisual material management, and the lack of simple standards for creating independent learning content in the madrasah. The implementation method included needs analysis, socialization of the importance of learning multimedia, technical training on the use of OBS, mentoring in learning video production practices, and evaluation of results through product assessments and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the concept of learning multimedia, their ability to install and configure OBS, create simple scenarios (storyboards), and produce at least one learning video for the subjects they teach. This activity also encouraged the madrasah's commitment to developing a learning video content bank as a learning resource that can be used sustainably in both face-to-face and online learning.

Abstract

Agropreneurship is an approach that integrates agricultural activities with entrepreneurial principles to enhance value added, economic independence, and food security. In the educational context, agropreneurship has the potential to serve as a contextual learning medium that not only develops entrepreneurial skills but also instills character and Islamic values. This study aims to examine the role of agropreneurship as a learning approach for Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan through mustard greens and sweet potato cultivation activities. The research employed an observational method with a qualitative approach, conducted through direct observation of students’ processes, participation, and behavior during the planting activities. The results indicate that agropreneurship activities improve students’ understanding of agricultural entrepreneurship practices, foster independence, hard work, and responsibility, and internalize Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan values such as trustworthiness (amanah), Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah), and ecological awareness. Therefore, agropreneurship can be applied as a holistic and practical learning approach in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan education to develop students who are faithful, knowledgeable, and entrepreneurial-minded.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze mathematical concepts embedded in the processing of Gudeg Yogyakarta through an ethnomathematical approach. The research employed a qualitative method with an educational ethnographic design. The research subjects consisted of traditional gudeg producers, besek craftsmen, and home-based gudeg industry practitioners in the Yogyakarta region, selected purposively. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and visual documentation to capture cultural practices and the underlying mathematical meanings. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing by transforming cultural activities into formal mathematical representations. The results indicate that the gudeg processing process contains various mathematical concepts, including three-dimensional and plane geometry in raw materials and packaging, fractions and ratios in ingredient measurements, sequences and series in the canning process, and algorithmic logic in deep cooking techniques. These findings confirm that Gudeg Yogyakarta has significant potential as a meaningful, contextual mathematics learning resource grounded in local wisdom.
