Abstract

Educational training regarding information technology crime (cyber crime) and its handling is an important step in facing increasingly complex cyber threats. This article discusses the types of cyber crime, its impact, as well as effective handling strategies and methods. This research uses observation methods through community service carried out at SMKS Bina Satria Medan, literature studies and mixed methods. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods at several institutions that have implemented this training. The results of this research show an increase in participants' awareness and ability to identify and deal with cyber crime.

Abstract

Islamic This community service program aims to socialize the importance of a saving culture to the students of BLK Darul Musthofa using the digital platform Dinaran. The Dinaran platform, designed to facilitate the saving process with advanced digital features, is introduced as an effective tool in forming sustainable saving habits. The socialization activities include seminars and training that provide in-depth understanding of personal financial management and the benefits of saving. By using the Dinaran platform, participants are taught how to create savings plans, monitor expenses, and leverage technology to achieve their financial goals. Gold is an instrument that can protect wealth due to its inflation-resistant nature compared to paper money. The community service activities held at the Darul Musthofa Vocational Training Center (BLK), specifically attended by the students of BLK Darul Musthofa, provide the younger generation with the opportunity to understand the importance of saving from an early age. In these activities, the community is also introduced to the concept of saving in gold through the Dinaran platform. Saving in the form of gold has various advantages, such as protection against asset value from inflation and economic fluctuations. The Dinaran platform provides convenience for the community to buy, store, and manage gold digitally, making gold investment more accessible and safe. Students are taught how to use the Dinaran platform to buy gold in small amounts regularly, enabling them to start saving with affordable capital. Additionally, through this platform, they can monitor the value of their investments in real-time and sell their gold whenever needed. This offers greater flexibility and accessibility compared to traditional methods of storing physical gold. In this socialization, practitioners or lecturers provide insights into the history and market trends of gold, as well as effective investment strategies. They also discuss potential risks and how to manage them. Thus, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of saving in gold and how to utilize it to achieve long-term financial stability. Although the activities mainly involve students, it is hoped that the students will also share the information with their parents and the community. This aims to create collective awareness about the importance of saving and investing culture. With collaboration between students, parents, and the community, it is expected that the saving culture can be implemented comprehensively and sustainably. This program is expected to increase public awareness of the importance of saving and provide them with the necessary knowledge to manage their finances better in the digital era. By saving through the Dinaran platform, students are expected to achieve better financial security and more effective wealth protection through digital gold saving.

Abstract

Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is critical to preventing gender inequality and increasing political participation. These goals require governments and communities to strengthen gender equality and empower women through public policy, legislation, and gender mainstreaming. The role of women is very important in development, both from an economic, political, and social perspective. To address inequality in the financial and political spheres, efforts involving all sectors of life and community participation are needed. Communities play a key role in changing the view that women are unnecessary in economic, social, and political involvement, especially in coastal areas. Therefore, we held training in Kampung Nelayan Seberang Belawan, far from the city center, to discuss with the community the importance of women's participation in development. This training is expected to help the people of Kampung Nelayan Seberang understand the importance of women's role in development (economic, political, social). Abstract

Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage is one of the accommodations located under the Gundaling Berastagi hill. Currently Sapo Rumbia accommodation has more than 40 rooms consisting of various types. Sapo Rumbia also has 1 villa which is located next to the accommodation. To market its villas and accommodation rooms, Sapo Rumbia uses videos recorded via cellphone cameras and without proper editing. Around the Sapo Rumbia inn there are many plantations owned by residents which can add a beautiful impression to the inn. Apart from plantations owned by residents, around the Sapo Rumbia accommodation there are also many views of hills and mountains that can pamper the eyes of tourists who stay at this accommodation. Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage does not explore the beauty of the surrounding nature in the promotional videos that have been made. Transitions between scenes in promotional video content have also not been made as attractive as possible so that it can increase people's desire to watch the video until the end. This activity also has several benefits, namely helping the management in promoting their villas and accommodation, making it easier for the public to obtain information regarding Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage, and increasing Sapo Rumbia's income from the promotions that have been made.

Abstract

The community service activity entitled "Introducing Color to Create an Atmosphere in Interior Spaces" aims to increase the understanding and skills of vocational school students in using color to create the desired atmosphere in interior design. This activity involves theory sessions, practical workshops, and design projects designed to provide basic knowledge of color psychology and its application in the context of interior spaces. During the activity, students learned about various important aspects such as selecting color palettes, optimal space arrangement, and appropriate lighting to support interior design concepts. Through presentations and discussion sessions, they also improve their communication skills and receive constructive feedback from their instructors and peers. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' understanding and ability to apply color concepts in interior design. They succeeded in producing design projects that demonstrated creativity and the correct application of theory. Factors supporting the success of this activity include student enthusiasm, support from the school, and the quality of the materials and instructors. However, several obstacles such as limited time and practical tools are challenges that need to be overcome in the future. Suggestions for improvement include increasing the duration of activities, using more advanced design technology, and collaborating with professionals in the field of interior design. Overall, this activity makes a positive contribution to interior design education for vocational school students, equipping them with practical knowledge and skills that can be applied in real projects in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis pemberdayaan kreativitas siswa dalam bidang kewirausahaan melalui implementasi digital learning yang bersifat edukatif dengan media berbasis Adobe Flash. Dalam era digital saat ini, pengembangan kompetensi kewirausahaan tidak hanya memerlukan pengetahuan teoritis, tetapi juga pendekatan inovatif yang mampu menumbuhkan kreativitas dan keterampilan praktis siswa. Adobe Flash, sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran interaktif, digunakan untuk merancang materi digital yang memfasilitasi pembelajaran aktif, visual, dan aplikatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif melalui studi kasus di salah satu sekolah menengah kejuruan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital edukatif berbasis Adobe Flash mampu meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, menumbuhkan ide-ide kreatif dalam konteks wirausaha, serta membangun kemandirian belajar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi teknologi interaktif dalam pembelajaran kewirausahaan berpotensi besar dalam memberdayakan kreativitas siswa secara lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This training aims to improve the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the manufacturing sector through the application of Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts and practices. MSMEs often face challenges in managing their supply chains, such as limited knowledge, operational complexity, and difficulties in adopting technology. This training is designed to equip participants with an in-depth understanding of SCM, including strategies to optimize the flow of goods, information, and finances throughout the supply chain. Participants are invited to participate in interactive sessions, including workshops, case studies, and simulations, which allow them to apply SCM theory in their own operational contexts. The results of this activity show significant improvements in operational efficiency, cost reduction, and increased competitiveness of MSMEs. The long-term impact is expected to be in the form of better business sustainability and the ability of MSMEs to compete in a wider market. This activity emphasizes the importance of SCM as a strategic tool for MSMEs to achieve sustainable growth.

Abstract

This community service aims to introduce sharia banking to students of SDN 067953 Medan Deli subdistrict which is aimed at students in grades 4, 5 and 6. Sharia banking is a business entity whose activities are in the field of sharia finance and whose assets are in the form of finance and non-financial based on Islamic sharia principles. Every operational activity in it must not contain elements of usury or elements that are prohibited in Islam. Sharia banks aim to educate and guide people to think economically, behave in business and improve their quality of life by investing and carrying out sharia financing through sharia banks. By delivering material through lecture and discussion methods, we see the importance of introducing Islamic banking to students. The results of this service show that students understand sharia banking and have a great desire to save in sharia banks.

Abstract

This community service aims to socialize the introduction of opportunities and career development in the sharia banking department to students in class XI and XI of State Preparatory Madrasah Aliyah 4 Medan. As the financial industry develops, more and more students are interested in pursuing sharia banking education. Islamic banking is a banking system that operates based on Islamic economic principles. These principles include financial aspects that are in accordance with Islamic sharia law, known as "fiqh muamalah" or economic law in Islam. In contrast to conventional banking which uses interest as its main instrument, sharia banking uses financial mechanisms that are in accordance with Islamic principles, such as sharing profits and risks between the bank and customers using the principle of profit sharing. By delivering material using lecture and discussion methods, we see the importance of socialization regarding the introduction of opportunities and career development in the sharia banking department. The results of this service show that students understand sharia banking and have a great desire to continue their studies in the sharia banking study program.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, computers are data processing machines and calculating tools, where the results or output can be printed via a printer. Input, process and output of a computer are the work processes of the 3 most important elements, namely hardware, software and users. Before users use a computer, in terms of assembling a computer, they need to know how to put together the parts needed to run the computer properly. Knowing the functions of the hardware components so that there are no mistakes in assembling a computer. Although assembling a computer is basically quite easy, some research is needed to get good results. There are many different price and quality options for computer assembly components. By assembling a computer yourself, we can choose the type of components, features, and computer facilities that best suit our needs. Before assembling a computer, you must prepare well, especially if there is hardware and software installed. Assembling and installing a computer is an important step in creating and maintaining a reliable and effective computer system. To ensure optimal system performance and security, a thorough understanding of assembly and installation methods is essential.
