Abstract

Universitas Sindang Kasih Majalengka (USKM) is a higher education institution committed to improving the quality of administrative services, including guest data management, which was previously performed manually and lacked efficiency. This study aims to develop an interactive guest reception website application using the Bootstrap framework to support the digitalization of guest registration and reporting processes. The research employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which consists of the stages of requirements planning, design workshop, implementation, testing, and deployment, enabling a fast and structured development process. System requirements data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies, then implemented into a responsive and user-friendly interface design. The testing results show that the application increased the efficiency of guest registration processes by up to 80% compared to the manual system and received positive feedback from users regarding accessibility and service speed. The application also features data management, automatic report generation, and user validation to ensure information security. In conclusion, the interactive guest reception system successfully provides faster, more accurate, and more professional services within USK Majalengka. The contribution of this research lies in applying the RAD method to develop an efficient, adaptive, and web-based administrative service information system that supports the digital transformation of higher education institutions.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) serves as an effective strategy for developing students’ discipline and responsibility while strengthening the core values of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. This study aims to describe the implementation of PjBL in fostering disciplined and responsible character among students at SDN Kebrengan and to analyze its impact on reinforcing the values of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Employing a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques, the study found that PjBL effectively nurtures students’ discipline, responsibility, collaboration, and independence through contextual project activities such as creating learning tools from recycled materials. The model not only enhances academic skills but also serves as an effective medium for instilling moral and social values through reflective learning experiences. Despite challenges such as varying levels of student independence and time limitations, PjBL aligns with the spirit of the Merdeka Curriculum that emphasizes meaningful learning. In conclusion, PjBL contributes significantly to strengthening students’ discipline and responsibility while serving as a strategic alternative for promoting the Profil Pelajar Pancasila in elementary education.

Abstract

Quality control is a key component in ensuring the sustainability and improvement of educational quality. This article aims to analyze the implementation of quality strategies, quality control processes, and the internal and external factors that influence the enhancement of educational quality. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method through a literature review, applying PRISMA principles to ensure transparency, traceability, and the rigor of the selected sources. The review process includes the identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and analysis of literature relevant to educational quality control. The findings indicate that quality improvement is inseparable from effective leadership, teacher competence, parental support, learning environment conditions, and the availability of adequate facilities. Furthermore, the integration of quality management, continuous evaluation, and a culture of ongoing improvement forms the essential foundation for achieving competitive and high-quality educational institutions. These results underscore that strengthening educational quality requires a systemic and collaborative approach involving all educational stakeholders.

Abstract

Declining productivity in tiger shrimp aquaculture is often associated with unstable environmental quality and suboptimal pond management, making probiotics a promising environmentally friendly approach to improving water conditions, suppressing disease, and supporting shrimp growth. To enhance farmers’ capacity in utilizing probiotics, a community engagement program involving training and hands-on assistance in the preparation of probiotic bacterial cultures was conducted in July 2025 at Mitra Serumpun, Tarakan City. The activities were delivered through lectures, demonstrations, and guided practice that directly involved participants in the fermentation and culture preparation processes. Evaluation results indicated an increase in participants’ knowledge and skills related to probiotic fermentation techniques and their application in shrimp ponds. This program contributed to strengthening farmers’ readiness to optimize pond management and supported efforts to improve aquaculture productivity and local food security.

Abstract

Marital harmony is often disrupted by various factors, including the presence of certain defects (‘Aib) or illnesses that may create disappointment and conflict between spouses. This study aims to analyze the concept of Khiyar ‘Aib as a basis for Fasakh (annulment) in Islamic jurisprudence and to examine its social implications for family stability and harmony. Employing a descriptive library research method, this study reviews classical and contemporary Islamic legal literature to identify the types of defects that grant either spouse the right to continue or terminate the marriage. The findings indicate that defects such as insanity, leprosy, vitiligo, genital impairment, and impotence can serve as valid grounds for Khiyar. Socially, the application of Khiyar ‘Aib functions as a protective mechanism to prevent harm and preserve family harmony. Thus, Khiyar ‘Aib operates not only as a legal provision in Islamic law but also as a social solution for minimizing conflict and supporting the overall well-being of families. This study contributes by highlighting the contemporary relevance of classical Fiqh principles in addressing modern family issues and by providing a theoretical foundation for strengthening family resilience.

Abstract

Amid growing concerns about early childhood language delays in the digital era, the use of engaging visual media has become increasingly essential to support oral language development. This study aims to explore the use of sequential picture media in enhancing the speaking abilities of young children at TK Dharma Wanita Hargomulyo Kedewan Bojonegoro. A qualitative research approach was employed, using observations, interviews, and documentation involving a group of children aged 4–5 years. The results indicate that serial picture media effectively stimulate children to speak both individually and in groups. Through storytelling activities based on the provided images, children were able to develop their speaking skills, enrich their vocabulary, and improve sentence structure. In addition, the children showed positive responses to these activities, demonstrated by increased confidence in speaking and improved interaction with peers. The study concludes that serial picture media serve as an effective, enjoyable, and interactive tool for developing young children’s speaking abilities, and contribute by strengthening practical visual-based language learning strategies that can be easily implemented by early childhood educators.

Abstract

In an era where rapid digitalization and the pervasive influence of social media increasingly weaken moral authority within educational settings, the need to develop students’ Islamic personality has become more urgent than ever. Within this context, the PAI (Islamic Religious Education) teacher environment holds a pivotal role as a source of moral modeling, habituation, and educational interaction that directly shapes students’ religious character. This study aims to analyze the role of the PAI teacher environment in shaping students’ Islamic personality, as well as to identify the challenges encountered and the strategies implemented by teachers in this process. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the PAI teacher environment contributes significantly to the formation of students’ Islamic personality through moral exemplification, the habituation of Islamic values, meaningful educational communication, and student engagement in religious activities. The main challenges include the influence of social media, students’ inconsistency in practicing Islamic values, and varied levels of family support. Effective strategies consist of integrating Islamic values into instruction, strengthening the school’s Islamic culture, and fostering emotional closeness between teachers and students. This study contributes a conceptual model highlighting the strategic role of the PAI teacher environment in shaping students’ Islamic personality and offers practical recommendations for educational institutions seeking to enhance the quality of Islamic education.

Abstract

The digitalization of Qur’anic manuscripts has emerged as a central discourse in modern philology, reshaping the mechanisms of preservation, transmission, and textual analysis. This article aims to critically examine the transformation of Qur’anic philology from the traditional scriptoriumlong regarded as an authoritative space for manuscript copying and the verification of textual variants towards a technologically mediated ecosystem of open-access digital archives. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach, this study reviews historical literature, evaluates major Qur’anic manuscript digitalization projects, and analyzes the use of databases and computational tools in textual criticism. The findings reveal that digitalization not only broadens access to manuscript preservation but also triggers an epistemological shift in philological practice, particularly in relation to textual authority, verification of variant readings, and models of scholarly collaboration. Furthermore, the study identifies the necessity of rearticulating classical philological principles into digital frameworks to preserve Isnād integrity and support rigorous Tahqīq practices. The primary contribution of this article is the formulation of a conceptual framework for Qur’anic digital philology that bridges the values of the classical scriptorium with the affordances of digital technology, providing a theoretical and methodological foundation for Qur’anic manuscript studies in the technological era.

Abstract

In an era of expanding financial access and increasingly competitive MSME financing, the feasibility assessment of financing has become a crucial determinant of portfolio performance in Islamic banking. This study aims to empirically analyze the effect of financing feasibility on the repayment rate of small-business financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). A quantitative research design was employed through survey distribution to 180 MSME recipients of BSI financing, complemented by in-depth interviews with financing officers to enhance data validity. Four dimensions of feasibility were examined technical feasibility, market feasibility, financial feasibility, and financing analysis quality. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to measure the significance and contributive strength of each variable on repayment performance, indicated by installment smoothness. The results reveal that all four feasibility variables exert a positive and significant influence on repayment performance. Financial feasibility emerged as the dominant factor (β = 0.431), while the coefficient of determination (R² = 0.614) indicates that 61.4% of repayment variation is explained by the model. Additional findings highlight that digital transaction recording and continuous post-disbursement mentoring are associated with higher repayment consistency. This study affirms the urgency of strengthening feasibility assessment, improving debtor financial literacy, and integrating digital-based data analysis as strategic measures for optimizing MSME financing risk management within the Islamic banking system.

Abstract

Character education in elementary schools faces complex challenges in integrating moral values with 21st-century competency requirements. This article aims to reconstruct character education models through a synergy between Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi’s educational philosophy and the Pancasila Student Profile framework. Employing a literature review with a philosophical analysis approach, this research explores the "head, heart, and hand" principle as the foundation for children's moral and intellectual growth. The findings demonstrate that Pestalozzi's approach resonates deeply with the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly within the P5 project which emphasizes contextual and humanistic learning. Further discussion reveals the harmonization of Pestalozzian thought with Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s educational concepts that uphold human dignity. The study concludes that this synergistic reconstruction offers a strategic model for educators to design comprehensive, sustainable, and student-oriented learning programs.
