Abstract

Health centers, as primary health facilities, play a strategic role in providing health services to the community. However, based on conditions in the field, there are still several problems, such as long waiting times for services and limited supporting facilities. These conditions can cause a gap between patients' expectations and the services they receive, so research is needed to determine the extent to which service quality and facilities affect patient satisfaction. The research population was patients at Pasar Manna Health Center, with a sample size of 97 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and accidental sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program, and the coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing were conducted partially and simultaneously. The results showed that service quality and facilities had a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. Service quality had a more dominant influence than facilities. Based on these results, it can be concluded that improving service quality and providing adequate facilities are very important in increasing patient satisfaction. Therefore, Pasar Manna Health Center is advised to continue improving service quality and completing facilities to meet the expectations and needs of the community.

Abstract

Public satisfaction is an important indicator in assessing service performance in both government and private institutions that provide services. Satisfaction can be measured and observed from various aspects, one of which is consumer trust in the services received after engaging with a particular institution or service provider. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which trust and service quality influence public satisfaction at Ratu Agung Sub-District Office, Bengkulu City. This research is categorized as a quantitative study with a causal associative approach. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a Likert scale, and the sample consisted of 50 respondents who received services at Ratu Agung Sub-District Office at the time of the study. The results of the study indicate that the multiple linear regression equation obtained is:Y = 10.696 + 0.286 (X1) + 0.457 (X2) + 3.312, which means that there is a positive (direct) correlation between trust (X1) and service quality (X2) on public satisfaction (Y) at Ratu Agung Sub-District Office, Bengkulu City. The hypothesis testing for trust (X1) shows that t-count = 2.018>t-table = 2.011 and significance value = 0.049 < 0.05. Thus, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating that trust has a significant effect on public satisfaction. Meanwhile, the test for service quality (X2) shows that t-count = 3.390>t-table = 2.011 and significance value = 0.001<0.05. Therefore, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating that service quality also has a significant effect on public satisfaction. Furthermore, F-test result shows that F-count = 34.134>3.195, indicating that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a simultaneous effect of trust (X1) and service quality (X2) on public satisfaction (Y) at Ratu Agung Sub-District Office, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of investment risk and return on investment decisions among students at the University of Bengkulu. The growing interest of students in investment activities indicates that the younger generation is becoming more aware of the importance of financial planning for the future. However, as novice investors, students often face several challenges, such as limited knowledge and a tendency to be influenced by psychological, social, and informational factors, particularly those derived from social media, when making investment decisions. This research employs an explanatory quantitative approach. Data were collected via a questionnaire using a Likert scale, distributed to 54 respondents who are active students with investment experience. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the effects of investment risk and return, both partially and simultaneously, on students’ investment decisions. The results show that return has a significant influence on investment decisions, as students tend to prefer investment instruments that offer higher potential returns. Investment risk was also found to have a significant effect, although students’ understanding of risk varies. At the same time, both risk and return significantly influence investment decisions. The findings indicate that students are generally profit-oriented, whilst still considering risk in their decision-making process. This study is expected to enhance students’ financial literacy, enabling them to make more rational and balanced investment decisions.
