Abstract

This study aims to analyze the literacy and numeracy ability of students in the implementation of the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) in Phase-D in Pinrang Regency. AKM is part of the National Assessment program which aims to measure the minimum competence of students in the aspects of literacy, reading and numeracy. The research data was taken from the results of the National Assessment report card at seven junior high schools in Pinrang Regency. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive, with data analyzed based on the categories of AKM outcomes, namely: Need for Special Intervention, Basic, Capable, and Advanced. The results of the study showed that the literacy skills of students were mostly in the Basic and Proficient categories, while for numeracy, the majority of students were still in the Basic category. This indicates that most students have basic skills in understanding reading texts and solving numeracy problems, but still need strengthening, especially in critical and reflective thinking skills on texts and contextual problems. Factors that affect the results of this AKM include the availability of learning resources, teacher competence, student learning motivation, and support for the school and family environment. The results of this study are expected to be evaluation materials for schools, local governments, and related parties in designing strategies to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills, especially in Pinrang Regency. This research aims to analyze students' literacy and numeracy abilities in the implementation of the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) in Phase-D in Pinrang Regency. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Development of a Sustainable Business Model for Horticultural Agriculture at SMK Negeri 1 Trowulan. Indonesia has abundant natural resources and high biodiversity. One of the reasons Indonesia is considered an agrarian country is because the agricultural sector is one of the leading sectors in its economy. Vocational education has undergone significant transformation through various episodes of Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) initiatives launched by the Minister of National Education and Technology Research, Mr. Nadim Makarim. These programs are based on the goal of ‘Link and Match’ between the Business, Industry, and Work World (DUDIKA) and vocational education institutions, including Vocational High Schools (SMK) and Vocational Higher Education Institutions. One of the Merdeka Belajar episodes is the SMK PK (Center of Excellence) program in episode 8. Agribusiness in Food Crops and Horticulture (ATPH) is one of the skill packages at SMK Negeri 1 Trowulan. The ATPH skill package continuously and consistently conducts theoretical and practical learning that creates an engaging learning environment, is favored by students, eagerly awaited hour by hour, and leaves a deep impression on all students. The qualitative research method with a case study approach was chosen because it aligns with the research objective, which is to understand how the sustainable business model for horticultural agriculture is developing at SMKN 1 Trowulan. The school can begin developing more practical marketing systems, such as utilizing online platforms and scaling up commodity production. Students can begin to actively participate in large-scale production development, enabling them to delve deeper into business models for entrepreneurship. This prepares them to engage in agricultural entrepreneurship upon graduation, particularly in horticultural commodities. The strengths and weaknesses of the best strategy for developing student entrepreneurship business models at vocational schools must be considered. Implementing the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) model involves components such as students, schools, partners, communities, and families. Its implementation begins with students learning agricultural practices on a small scale using school land (during the first year of study) with guidance from teachers and partners

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of lecturers and students regarding the ease of use of digital platforms in the teaching of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK). The study is motivated by the growing utilization of digital technology in higher education, particularly in the post-pandemic era that has accelerated the adoption of online and hybrid learning systems. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents who had experience using platforms such as LMS, Zoom, and Google Classroom. The findings reveal that the majority of respondents rated digital platforms as “very easy” (53%) and “easy” (40.9%) to use in PJOK learning activities. However, 12.1% of respondents reported experiencing difficulties, which may be attributed to limited digital literacy, technical barriers, or a mismatch between platform features and the practical nature of PJOK instruction. These findings suggest that although the digitalization of PJOK learning has progressed positively, strategic interventions are still needed, including technical training, device support, and the development of adaptive digital learning models, to ensure that the digital transformation process is inclusive, effective, and sustainable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of entrepreneurial readiness among university students, focusing on key indicators such as entrepreneurial motivation, knowledge, managerial skills, organizational or work experience, and environmental support. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design to provide an objective and measurable overview of students’ readiness for entrepreneurship. The population consisted of all active students at the selected university, and a sample of 275 students was obtained using proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a structured, closed-ended questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. The results revealed that the majority of students demonstrated a high level of entrepreneurial readiness, with 79.27% in the high category and 4.73% in the very high category, while 16.00% were in the moderate category. No respondents fell into the low or very low categories, indicating that all students possessed at least a moderate level of readiness. These findings suggest that students generally have adequate motivation, knowledge, skills, and environmental support to initiate entrepreneurial activities. The high readiness levels may also reflect the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education programs implemented by higher education institutions. Nevertheless, the presence of students in the moderate category indicates a need for further development, particularly in enhancing practical experience, risk-taking ability, and direct business exposure. Therefore, targeted interventions such as mentoring, practice-based entrepreneurship training, and business network expansion are recommended to elevate students’ readiness to a higher level.

Abstract

The Sultanate Palace, located in Sumbawa Besar City, West Nusa Tenggara Province, has high historical and cultural value, symbolizing the civilization of the Sumbawa people, especially in the field of government, and serving as historical evidence of the glory of the Sumbawa Sultanate in the past. However, the management and development of the palace as a cultural heritage tourist attraction has not been optimal. Therefore, this study aims to formulate a development strategy by analyzing the current condition of the Sultanate Palace using the TALC approach and 4A components, as well as pentahelix collaboration. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documents, which are then analyzed using SWOT and PESTEL analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Sultanate Palace is still in the involvement stage, and although pentahelix collaboration has been formed informally, it is still dominated by the government and cultural figures. The proposed development strategies include periodic attraction innovations, Sumbawa cultural workshops, heritage building preservation and conservation tours, gallery exhibitions and workshops, comparative studies with neighboring destinations, community involvement, brand strengthening, human resource capacity development, packaging traditional games and storytelling, and private sector involvement through CSR programs.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Determine the feasibility of grafted and ungrafted pepper farming in Mataiwoi Village, Mowila District, South Konawe Regency. (2) Determine the increase in the number of farmers and the area of land using the grafted system in Mataiwoi Village, Mowila District, South Konawe Regency. The number of samples in this study was 39 respondents. Data analysis used Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost ratio (B/C ratio), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Payback Period. The results of the study showed that the grafted and ungrafted pepper farming in Mataiwoi Village at a discount factor (df) of 6.5% and 150% was financially feasible to be developed. The positive NPV at both discount levels confirms that pepper farming is not only feasible to run but also financially profitable to be developed further. The increase in the number of farmers and the area of land used for the grafted method increased very rapidly, this proves that the government has succeeded in providing counseling on the grafted method to farmers.
