Abstract

Unergonomic work postures in lightweight brick sorting work are one of the things that can cause the risk of musculoskeletal disorders if not corrected. The purpose of this study is to analyze work postures by applying the REBA method which can evaluate the overall work posture of lightweight brick workers so that recommendations can be obtained to avoid injuries to workers. The data used in the study were images of work postures taken through recordings while workers were performing their work activities. Then, the angles of each part of the neck, back, upper arms, forearms, wrists, wrist rotation, and feet were measured, then the weight of the load, coupling factor and activity score were measured. The results of the study showed that the work postures used by workers when sorting lightweight bricks must be immediately corrected because they show a high level of risk for injury with a REBA score of 10, which means it is included in risk level 4 (dangerous conditions). By reducing dangerous angles on the body parts, a better work posture was obtained with a REBA score of 5, which is included in risk level 3 (medium), thereby reducing the risk of injury to workers.

Abstract

Attachment styles are the foundation on which adult emotional health and interpersonal relationships are built. Studies linking childhood trauma and social support on attachment styles among young adults in Nigeria are lacking. Therefore, this study examines the predictive roles of childhood trauma and social support on attachment styles among young adults in Port Harcourt metropolis. Cross-sectional survey design was utilized while simple random sampling technique was used to select five communities in Port Harcourt metropolis. Data were collected from 278 participants using validated questionnaires and analyzed with multiple regression analysis to test one hypothesis accepted at p =.001 level of significance. The result indicates that childhood trauma and social support jointly predicted attachment styles among study participants, R2 = .274, F(2,275) = 27.50, p = 001. Furthermore, the results reveal that childhood trauma (β = .312, t = 3.59, p =.001) and social support (β = .281, t = 3.30, p =.001) independently predicted attachment styles among study participants. The study concludes that childhood trauma and social support are strong predictors of attachment styles among young adults in Port Harcourt metropolis. The study recommends that primary caregivers should provide a conducive social support system for young adults who have been traumatized to improve their adult relationship.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of business capital financing utilization on the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and to examine the role of financial literacy as a moderating variable. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 96 MSME owners who received financing from Amartha in East City District, Gorontalo City. Data analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that the utilization of business capital financing has a positive effect on MSME development. However, the moderation test results show that financial literacy does not moderate the effect of business capital financing utilization on MSME development. The t-statistic value of 0.712, which is smaller than the significance threshold of 1.96, and a significance value of 0.477, which is greater than 0.05, indicate that financial literacy does not function as a moderator. These findings suggest that improvements in MSME development are primarily influenced by the amount and form of financing utilization itself rather than by the financial literacy level of business actors.

Abstract

Teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) plays a crucial role in enhancing school effectiveness and the quality of educational services, particularly in private vocational high schools that face increasing performance and competitiveness demands. However, the lack of extra-role behavior among teachers remains a persistent challenge. This study aims to examine the effects of Servant Leadership and teachers’ psychological factors on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among teachers in private vocational high schools in West Jakarta, both directly and indirectly. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of 1,119 permanent teachers from A-accredited private vocational high schools in West Jakarta, with a sample of 199 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using validated and reliable structured questionnaires and analyzed using Path Analysis to examine causal relationships among variables. The findings indicate that Servant Leadership and psychological factors have a positive and significant effect on teachers’ OCB, both partially and simultaneously. Psychological factors emerge as a key variable that strengthens the influence of Servant Leadership on teachers’ extra-role behavior. This study contributes theoretically to the development of OCB research within educational leadership studies and provides practical implications for school management in designing strategies to enhance teachers’ performance through the strengthening of servant leadership practices and the management of teachers’ psychological conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumers’ willingness to pay (WTP) for broiler chicken and the factors influencing it in Ranomeeto Market, South Konawe Regency. The research was conducted from January to August 2025, involving 100 respondents selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that 73% of consumers were willing to pay more for broiler chicken, with an average WTP value of IDR 38,677 per kilogram. The analysis revealed that income positively and significantly affects WTP, while the number of family members has a negative and significant effect. In contrast, age and education level did not significantly influence consumers’ WTP. The findings suggest that pricing strategies for broiler chicken should consider consumer purchasing power, with prices set slightly below the average WTP to maintain demand. Moreover, government supervision is needed to stabilize food prices and align them with consumers’ economic capacity.

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly analyze the problems encountered in the Natural Science (IPA) learning process at SMPN 1 Suwawa Timur, considering the 21st-century curriculum demands that require the development of students' scientific attitudes and skills through direct experience. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, where data was collected through a closed questionnaire administered to 32 students of class IX A and in-depth interviews with the IPA subject teacher. The analysis results identified two major interconnected issues: (1) low student motivation and scientific attitude, and (2) sub-optimal utilization of school facilities and infrastructure. The low student learning motivation was confirmed by the teacher as a crucial obstacle, which ironically occurs despite the school having complete laboratory facilities. The root problem was found in the lack of teacher knowledge and professional competence in operating and utilizing laboratory equipment for practical activities. It is concluded that the minimal implementation of practical work due to limitations in teacher competence is the main factor contributing to low student motivation and learning achievement. Therefore, this study recommends the necessity of continuously enhancing teacher competence related to laboratory facility utilization to optimize the quality of the IPA learning process in the school.
