Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of processing coconuts into Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and the amount of added value obtained from processing coconuts into Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) in the Al-Huda household business in Lasalepa Village, Lasalepa District, Muna Regency. This research was conducted in December 2022-April 2023 and used primary and secondary data types and sources. Analysis of the data used to determine the process of processing coconut into VCO is a qualitative descriptive analysis and to determine the value added from processing coconut into VCO using Hayami's added value analysis method. The results showed that the process of processing coconut into VCO went through several stages, namely: peeling and cleaning the coconut flesh, grating and squeezing the coconut milk, separating water and coconut juice, fermentation, filtering and packaging. Meanwhile, the additional value obtained from processing coconut into VCO is IDR 36,008/kg coconut, where this value consists of business or processing profits of IDR 32,883 and labor benefits of IDR 3,125. Remuneration for the owners of production factors is the largest in operating profit of 87.7% while labor income is 8.3% and the contribution of other inputs is 4%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the conversion of cocoa farming land function to lowland paddy fields farming in Penanggo Village, Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency. This research was conducted from November to December 2021. The research method uses quantitative descriptive. The selection of the location of this study was determined deliberately (purposively), taking into account that Penanggo Jaya Village has a number of farmer households that have transferred cocoa land to paddy fields. The population in the study numbered 392 people. The sampling technique uses the Slovin formula with an error degree (α) of error of 15%. The number of respondents was 72 people. The data analysis used in this study is Logistic Regression Analysis, steps in testing assessing the overall model (overall model fit/G test), assessing the feasibility of the regression model and wald test (partial). The results showed that pest and disease attacks of 0.030 < 0.05 and production yields of 0.000 < 0.05, these two variables have a significant chance of influencing the decision of farmers to transfer cocoa land to paddy rice crops, while plant age, land area and infrastructure have no chance of influencing farmers' decisions to transfer cocoa land to paddy field crops.The results of this study indicate that with the transfer of community land in Penanggo Village, Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency, they can meet and increase their economy.

Abstract

This study aims 1) To find out the pattern of coffee marketing channels in Bakadisura Village, Tabang sub-district, Mamasa district, 2) To find out the margins and marketing profits of coffee beans in Bakadisura Village, Tabang sub-district, Mamasa district . The location of this research was carried out in Bakadisura Village, Tabang District, Mamasa Regency from March to November 2022. The choice of research location was carried out purposively (purposively) with the consideration that Bakadisura Village is a place with the most coffee production. The population or objects in this study were all coffee farmers in Bakadisura Village, Tabang District, Mamasa Regency, totaling 25 families, as well as 2 collectors and 2 wholesalers. Sampling was determined using the census method, so that all coffee farmers and traders in Bakadisura Village became respondents. The results showed that coffee marketing in Bakadisura Village was running efficiently, this was indicated by the FS value = 80% in channel I FS value = 75.55 and 80.35 in channel II. The total profit earned by traders on channel I is Rp. 4,245,775, the profit earned by collector traders on channel II is Rp. 3,531,999, and wholesalers are Rp. 3,085,730.

Abstract

Providing compensation as a measure of employee enthusiasm at PT X is an absolute right that employees must receive as compensation for their hard work. By providing compensation to employees, they will be more enthusiastic and active in working. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that compensation to employees is given in two forms, namely financial compensation and non-financial compensation. Financial compensation in the form of salary will be given to employees according to the local regional minimum wage and incentives given can be in the form of additional wages and meals for employees who participate in overtime in working on projects at the Company. Providing compensation will also influence employee performance, meaning that providing appropriate compensation will make employees enthusiastic about working.

Abstract

The study's objective is to characterize and assess how the blended learning model affects the caliber of historical learning results in the contemporary day. This research uses quantitative methods with a simple correlation approach. The research location was in the History Education Study Program FKIP PGRI Palembang University, with a sample of 114 active students who were taken randomly. Data was collected using observation, documentation, and questionnaires. According to the study's findings, the quality of learning outcomes was significantly impacted by the blended learning pattern in the new normal era by 0.325. It was concluded that the quality of learning outcomes for students of the History Education Study Program, FKIP University of Palembang, was successful after implementing the mixed learning pattern in the new normal era. In order to improve the caliber of learning outcomes, it is advised that the History Education Study Program continue to combine online and offline learning methods in the new normal period. It has been demonstrated that when the blended learning pattern is applied as best it can, the caliber of student learning outcomes rises.

Abstract

The Sekura Village community in Sambas has shown significant participation in the Family Planning program, which promotes reproductive health and empowers families to make informed decisions about their children's number and spacing. Local health authorities have conducted comprehensive awareness campaigns, disseminating information about various family planning methods and their benefits. Regular workshops and seminars have dispelled myths and misconceptions, fostering open dialogue. Accessible health facilities have made it easier to access family planning services, and trained healthcare professionals have encouraged informed decisions. The program's inclusivity, respecting diverse cultural and religious perspectives, has fostered a sense of ownership and acceptance. Community leaders and local influencers have also played a crucial role in advocating for the program, breaking down cultural barriers and encouraging more individuals and families to embrace family planning as a positive and responsible choice. The robust participation of the Sekura Village community in the program can be attributed to effective awareness campaigns, accessible healthcare services, cultural sensitivity, and community leadership involvement.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is a focal aspect of human resources management. It analyzes employees’ performance and ensures that employees perform at the desired level to achieve organizational objectives. This paper examined issues of performance appraisal and their effects on organizational growth in. The paper adopted a qualitative research method. It depended on secondary data from scholarly journals and equity and goal setting theory as a framework of analysis. The study oserved that performance appraisal does not only promote organizational performance but provides potency in determining employee capacity, skills acquisition, and experience for organizational growth. The paper concluded that organizations which tend to be effective are positively engaged in continuous appraisal of employee performance in order to correct deviance and enhance better performance in the organization. The study recommended that the management of organizations should create an enabling environment and opportunities for self-appraisal or self-evaluation. The management of organizations should ensure that the number of workers being evaluated by a rater should not be too large, so that he can have enough time to do a thorough job on each person.

Abstract

Teenagers as agents of change in human resources for the better. This condition will not be achieved if teenagers do not carry out their roles and tasks optimally, one of which is by achieving good learning outcomes by preventing academic procrastination. The aim of this research is to explore learning outcomes through preventing adolescent academic procrastination after the Covid-19 pandemic. Academic procrastination is the behavior of delaying or completing school or college assignments. Undecided students are more likely to fail academically. Academic procrastination is the behavior of someone who wants to delay completing a task. As a result, students become lazy and often experience academic failure. Exploratory studies of learning outcomes to prevent academic procrastination can be carried out by paying attention to physical condition, motivation, self-efficacy and self-awareness, parenting patterns, the environment, as well as guidance from guidance and counseling teachers at school, with self-instruction counseling treatment, cognitive restructuring, cognitive behavior modification, behavior contracts, self-regulated learning, positive reinforcement techniques, and others.

Abstract

Satisfaction with academic services is important and needs to be considered in order to achieve quality service standards in improving performance. Every semester, students will be in contact with academic and administrative departments regarding lectures, seminars, exams, practicums and others. This research aims to determine the level of satisfaction of agribusiness students with the academic administration services of the Bengkulu University agribusiness study program. Respondents in this study were agribusiness study program students in the classes of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Analysis of student satisfaction with administrative services was measured through student perceptions (perceived service) of 5 indicators of academic service quality which include tangibles, reliability ( reliability), responsiveness, assurance and empathy. Next, validity and reliability tests were carried out using the SPSS 22 program. Measurement of satisfaction indicators was analyzed using a Likert scale and analysis using the CSI (customer satisfaction index) method. The research results show that the data validity test for each variable can be said to be valid. Meanwhile, the data reliability test has a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.980, which means that the data has very strong reliability. The tangible dimension has the highest score which indicates the level of student satisfaction in the very satisfied category. Meanwhile, the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy indicate the level of student satisfaction in the satisfied category. Overall the level of satisfaction from the 5 dimensions of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy has a score of 4.25, meaning that the level of student satisfaction with academic services in the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Bengkulu University is classified as satisfied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know in general the description of curly red chili price fluctuations in Kendari city and to find out the development of curly red chili prices in Kendari city in 2022. This research uses a descriptive analysis technique that is used to determine production developments, as well as review the price of red chili curls in the city of Kendari. The research uses price data sources at the consumer level in 2022 from markets in the city of Kendari which are obtained through official government websites, including the BPS (central statistical agency) Kendari city. The results of this study show the large fluctuations in the price of curly red chilies in the city of Kendari in 2022 with the tendency for the highest curly red chili prices to be in July of 59,441 compared to November of 34,598. The factors that influence price fluctuations of curly red chilies are the weather which causes curly red chilies to only be planted for one season, rainy weather also hampers the distribution of curly red chilies resulting in an increase in the price of curly red chilies and that makes the price of curly red chilies in one region to another not the same. In addition, the process of planting curly red chilies is less than optimal, causing decreased productivity
