Abstract

The aims of these experiments were to obtain appropriate concentrations of 2,4-D for callus induction and cytokinins for shoot initiation of shallot local palu. The concentrations of 2,4-D tested for callus induction namely 1 ppm, 2 ppm, 3 ppm, 4 ppm and 5 ppm; whilst concentrations of cytokinins tested for shoot initiation including 2 ppm, 3 ppm and 4 ppm for BAP or Kinetin. These experiments used Completely Randomized Design and each experimental unit utilized two explants with three replications. Data were computed and analysed by analysis of variance and tested with DMRT for identifying the differences between treatments tested. Results of these experiments indicated that callus induction as well as shoot initiation of shallot local palu were highly affected by concentrations of 2,4-D or cytokinins tested. The addition of 3 ppm 2,4-D into culture medium was the appropriate concentration for callus induction. At such medium composition, it was obtained the fastest callus formation (average 4.67 days after culture) and all explants cultured could produce calli. The addition of 2 ppm BAP into culture medium was the appripriate cencentration for shoot initiation of shallot local Palu. At such medium composition, it was obtained the fastest shoot formation (average 3.67 days after culture), the highest number of shoot formation (average 2.33 shoots per explant) and the highest chlorophyl content (53.6576) mg chlorophyl A per gram leaves.

Abstract

This education research aims to investigate the difference learning outcomes of the students taught using cooperative learning model NHT type and conventional type on physics subject of SMP Negeri 2 Poso, find out the different result of students with high beginning ability and those have low ability on physics, and find out whether any or not interaction of learning model and beginning ability of the students learning outcomes on physics. The Population was 130 students of the eighth grade. The research sample consisting of class VIIIA and VIIIB. Design used was factorial 2 x 2. The data were collected through thinking ability and learning achievement test. The data were analyzed by using ANOVA two ways. The result indicates that there was difference of learning outcomes of students taught cooperative learning NHT type from those taught conventional method (p-value < 0,05), different learning outcomes of the students with high beginning ability and those with low beginning ability (p-value < 0,05), no interaction between learning model and beginning ability toward the students learning outcomes (p-value > 0,05) that means the students with high beginning ability will be better their learning outcomes than those with low beginning ability of cooperative learning model NHT type or conventional learning

Abstract

The aims of this reaserch were explain the influence of mind mapping cooperative learning and learning motivation toward students learning outcomes about biology of IX grade student at SMP Negeri 6 Palu. This was a quantitative descriptive research with quasi experiment method. The taking of sample was done through random sampling. Each of groups consist of two class. The technique of data analysis used multiple regression. The result of data analysis indicate that partialy it was obtained X1 significant probability value was 0,00 < 0,05 and X2 significant probability value was 0,00 < 0,05. Simultane indicate the significant probability value was 0,00 < 0,05 so that mind mapping cooperative learning and learning motivation influence sinificantly toward the learning outcomes in biology either simultane and partial.

Abstract

This research aimed to result computer-based interactive learning media for eighth grade students of Junior High School. Developed interactive learning media consisted of two main parts: material and evaluation. The procedure of development followed Borg and Gall model. The interactive learning was validated by material and media experts. The material validation result was in very good category and media validation was in good category. The media was tried out at SMP Negeri 3 Palu. The students’ response in small and large-scale try out were in very good category. The students’ learning achievement showed an improvement where normalized gain (<g>) was in moderate category. The results showed that developed interactive learning media is feasible to use as an learning media in supporting conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This research was conducted to; (1) Determine the optimal order quantity of raw rattan at Palunesia Collection Team Rattan Furniture 2014, (2) Knowing the amount of safety stock of raw rattan to be available at Palunesia Collection Team Rattan Furniture 2014, (3) Know the reorder point materials rattan conducted by Palunesia Collection Team Rattan Furniture 2014, (4) To Find out the total inventory cost of raw material should be issued by the rattan at Palunesia Collection Team Rattan Furniture 2014. Selection of a study conducted by purposive (deliberately) with the consideration that Rattan Furniture Palunesia Collection Team is one of the rattan furniture industry is still active to this day of 12 rattan furniture industry in Palu, on the other hand Palunesia Rattan Furniture Collection Team simply producing furniture as the main product. This study was conducted from April to May 2015. The data analysis that used in this research included Economiq Order Quantity (EOQ), Safety Stock, Reorder Point, and Total Inventory Cost. The results indicate that the optimal number of reservations of raw materials for fine rattan in 2014 for rattan poles Amounted to 105.61 kg, for Rattan pitrit optimal order quantity Amounted to 127.34 kg and rattan core optimal order quantity Amounted to 52.20 kg. Safety stock should always be available in 2014 for this type Amounted to 26.28 kg polished rattan, Rattan pitrit of 50.49 kg, and the types of rattan core of 12.37 kg. Reorder point to be done in 2014 for the types of rattan poles when the amount of raw materials Amounted to 30.54 kg, rattan pitrit at the time the raw material Amounted to 55.39 kg, and the types of rattan core when the amount of raw materials Amounted to 14, 32 kg. Total inventory costs incurred in 2014 for this kind of rattan poles Rp. 124,003.00, for a type of rattan pitrit Rp. 119,109.95 and for the types of rattan core Rp. 123,207.14.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dinamika transpor sedimen di Estuari Sungai Palu yang memiliki batimetri curam dan perairan yang dangkal di muara. Simulasi model hidrodinamika dan transpor sedimen dilakukan dengan menggunakan model tiga dimensi ECOMSED yang dibangun oleh HydroQual, Inc., (2002). Simulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan gaya pembangkit debit sungai dan pasang surut. Hasil simulasi pola arus pada penampang horizontal pada setiap kondisi pasang surut dominan bergerak ke luar teluk, pada penampang vertikal, saat elevasi pasang tertinggi arus bergerak memasuki teluk pada lapisan paling bawah dengan kecepatan arus yang relatif kecil. Perhitungan elevasi permukaan dan kecepatan arus pada penampang vertikal memperlihatkan kesesuaian yang baik dengan data sekunder dan DISHIDROS dan observasi arus. Hasil simulasi transpor sedimen menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi sedimen pada penampang horizontal dan vertikal dominan dipengaruhi oleh debit sungai dibandingkan dengan pengaruh pasang surut.

Abstract

Central Sulawesi Province especially Parigi Moutong district, the majority of the population lives on farming, so to obtain optimal production requires the use of efficient input. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of cocoa production inputs (the number of trees in production (X1), Urea fertilizer (X2), NPK fertilizer (X3) and labor (X4) that affecting the level of cocoa production efficiency. The respondent was selected through Simple Random Sampling that obtained 35 out of 350 people of total population. The analysis used is Multiple Linear Regression using Cobb-Douglass and Efficiency Analysis. The results of F-test show that variable the number of cocoa trees produced (X1), Urea fertilizer (X2), NPK fertilizer (X3) and labor (X4) simultaneously affect the cocoa production at Dolago Village. The result of test-t show that variable of the number of cocoa trees produces (X1), Urea fertilizer (X2), NPK fertilizer (X3) and labor (X4) affecting the production of cocoa at Dolago Village. The results of the efficiency analysis show that the value of variable efficiency (The number of trees in production (X1) 0.26<1 it means no need the addition of cocoa trees, the value of the variable urea fertilizer efficiency (X2) 1.24>1 it means not efficient, need the addition of urea fertilizer in accordance with a balanced dose, the value of the variable NPK fertilizer (X3) 463.8>1 it means that the use of input NPK fertilizer not efficient so that need increasing doses of NPK fertilizer in accordance with the dose of balanced and the value of the variable efficiency of labor (X4) 0.066<1 it means not efficient because the use is excessive so farmers had to reduce the use of labor on cocoa farms at Dolago village, South Parigi sub district.

Abstract

The research was aimed to describing the influence of Jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique on the learning achievement for biology subject at grade X, and than to describing the influence of Jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique simultaneosly on the learning achievement. The research was quantitative with quasi- experimental design. Population in this research were all students in grade X SMAN 3 Poso which consists of 8 study groups. Research sample that is graders XD and XH, taken with random probabiliy sampling. Research data were obtained from the student achievement, and were analized by t-test was followed by ANOVA test with SPSS 20. The result of the research showed that there was a significant influence jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique on the learning achievement for biology subject, and there is significant influence of Jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique simultaneosly against on the learning achievement for biology subject. The Conclusion of this research that there is significant influence of jigsaw II type as cooperative learning model and mind mapping technique on the learning achievement for biology subject at grade Xof class X SMAN 3 Poso.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of training and work motivation of Science Teachers Teaching Performance in Junior High School in Poso. This research is quantitative descriptive survey method conducted from October to December 2015. Population and samples are 33 respondents. Instruments used as a data collectionis a questionnaire with multiple regression analysis techniques. Hypothesis test results obtained Fcount > Ftable (4,978 > 3,316) and contributions influence of 24,9%. Thus, the results of this study povide information that the training and work motivation to have influence of Science Teachers Teaching Performance in Junior High School in Poso.

Abstract

The objectives of the study is to describe the influence of Time Token learning model towards learning motivation, to describe the influence of Time Token learning model towards students’ learning achievement of Biology Cell, and to determine the relationship between students’ motivation and learning achievement of Biology Cell in Biology Education Studies Program at the Sintuwu Maroso University. The research design uses posttest only control group design in quasi-experiment research. The sample of the research is 79 students. Data were obtained from the learning motivation and learning achievement of biology cell. Data were analyzed using t test and product moment correlation test using SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The results showed that there is significant influence of Time Token learning model toward student’ motivation in learning Biology Cell (t> t table, 1.950> 1.665); there is significant influence of Time Token learning model toward students’ learning achievement of Biology Cell (t> t table, 10.941> 1.665); and there is a positive relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement of Biology Cell in Biology Education Studies Program at Sintuwu Maroso University (r = 0.601 it is the strong category). Based on the results can be concluded that Time Token learning model can improve student’ motivation and learning achievement.
