Profitability to yield to maturity. 2). leverage on yield to maturity. 3). Company size on yield to maturity. 4). Bond rating on yield to maturity. The method in this study belongs to the type of causality with a quantitative application, the population in this study is non-bank corporate bonds and financial institutions that are still traded in 2021, with a sample of 230 corporate bonds from 47 issuing companies; the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with SPSS 25 analysis tool. The results of this study explain that the variable return on assets, debt-to-equity ratio, and firm size do not affect the yield to maturity of bonds. Still, in contrast to the bond rating variable, it can influence in a positive direction the yield to maturity of bonds.

Abstract

The fishing community of Bontosua Island experienced very basic social changes, the intensive changes were at least influenced by two aspects, namely, the decreasing level of social participation and the entry of market penetration which also affected the existing pattern of life and social order. The main subject of the uncertain life pattern of the island fishing community is the increasingly sparse level of Social Participation experienced by the community. The approach used in this study is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods (questionnaire) to describe the social participation of fishing communities in the coastal area of the village. The methods used in the data collection process were in-depth interview techniques, questionnaires, and observation. The primary data of this study amounted to 16 respondents. The results indicate that the fishing community tends to be "eroded" in the fields of religion and mutual cooperation. Therefore, it is hoped that the Bontosua fishing community will increase the level of social participation, especially in the fields of religion and mutual cooperation to create an atmosphere of integration and equilibrium at all levels of society.

Abstract

Micro and small enterprises provide employment opportunities, offer innovative environments for entrepreneurs to develop new products and services, and help people out of poverty. This study generally aimed to understand the factors of business opportunities that influence micro and small enterprises. The researchers employed descriptive-correlational research design and have used random sampling. This study selected 397 registered micro and small enterprises. Findings revealed that participants were mostly under sole proprietorship, having 1 to 9 employees with an estimated range of asset size of 3,000,000 pesos and operated within 1 to 3 years. Human capital (entrepreneurial knowledge by employees), social capital (communication with family and friends), and financial capital (invested additional funds for business operations) were the factors of business opportunities. Human, social, and financial capital were highly influential factors for business opportunities in micro- and small enterprises. Considerably, there was no significant relationship between the business profile of the participants and the degree of influence of factors of business opportunities, except with the number of employees and social capital. Thus, the researchers recommended that MSEs develop their entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, expand their business networks, and take advantage of financial institutions that offer lower borrowing fees.
