Abstract

69 questions in the JITANTI PTM application with the logo , can be employed to measure an individual's risk of suffering from non-communicable diseases. The 69 questions in the app can tire the user's eyes, as can the app user's comments. The objective of the study is to reduce questions in order to be more effective. The research design used was cross-sectional. The sample who volunteered to fill out the JITANTI PTM application were 324 people using simple random sampling. The inclusion criteria was people who were living in Blitar Raya, at risk of suffering from non-communicable diseases, and frequently consuming fast food and drinks. Data collection was administered from April to June 2022. Data analysis was then performed to calculate validity using Pearson Product Moment, reliability by administering Cronbach's a, and factor loading employing principal component factor analysis. The software for calculations utilized SPSS. The validity test values obtained were between 0.234 – 0.708 which is greater than r table at a = 0.05 and degrees of freedom > 300 = 0.113, meaning the questions met the validity requirements. The reliability test scores obtained were between 0.783 – 0.907 which met the minimum reliability requirements of 0.7. Based on the Eigenvalue, which is more than 1.0, 19 new questions can be generated (7 for knowledge, 7 for attitude, and 5 for action). Reducing the number of questions in the JITANTI PTM application can reduce user visual fatigue and speed up charging time, thereby reducing the accommodation power of vision.

Abstract

Changes in work patterns during a pandemic will certainly impact changes in the work habits of nurses who must be able to adapt to any work situation in the field, especially for nurses vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine. More than 11 billion people in the world have received a dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Data for receiving the Covid-19 vaccine in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people. Achievements in the implementation of Vaccination in Palangka Raya City reached 223,414 people with the first phase vaccine distribution of 264,173 people, the second phase amounted to 228,457 people, and the third phase vaccine reached 88,282 people. Amost 80% of nurses experienced mental health problems, namely stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. The increased workload can affect the physical and psychological health of nurses. Based on the analysis of the data, the nurse's self-management ability is needed to deal with any job demands or workload that is obtained while being a Covid-19 Vaccinator. This study aimed to explore self-management experiences among nurses as COVID-19 vaccine providers. The study used a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach with in-depth interviews with 11 participants who served in five areas of the city of Palangka Raya and were selected based on purposive sampling inclusion criteria. The results of qualitative analysis of thematic data using the Colaizzi technique found seven themes, four of which were very relevant to self-management, namely: 1) Professional Attitude in Discrediting Tasks; 2) Coping Strategy; 3) Job Satisfaction and Altruism; 4) Teamwork Atmosphere; and three additional themes, namely: 5) Factors that cause work stress; 6) Workload of Nurses as Stressors; and 7) Holistic Response experienced by Vaccination

Abstract

Health is one of the important elements in human life, so the utilization of health services is an important factor in determining health. The utilization of health services has been recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a primary health concept. However, many people do not take advantage of existing healthcare facilities. The purpose of this research was to determine the factors related to the utilization of health services by families. The research method used an analytic observational research design/analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a total sample of 61 respondents. Bivariate analysis to determine the relationship of each factor was the chi-square test. The results showed that there was no relationship between age and family utilization of health services (p>0.05), there was a relationship between education level and family utilization of health services (p<0.05), there was no relationship between employment status and health service utilization by the family (p>0.05), and there was no relationship between distance (access) and utilization of health services by the family (p>0.05). In this way, families can take advantage of the nearest health service when they are sick so they can find out what disease they are suffering from and get the correct treatment/care

Abstract

Currently, Indonesia is still facing reproductive health problems which are marked by the high maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR). The low status of public health, especially women's health, is influenced by various factors. One of the factors is nutritional status. Comprehensive intervention through the continuum of care approach is important to be carried out more upstream, namely during the preconception period (future bride). Examination of the nutritional status of the bride aims to detect early problems of underweight, overweight and micronutrient deficiencies (anemia). Optimal nutritional status before pregnancy is a form of readiness for a healthy pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to describe nutritional status (incidence of anemia, chronic energy deficiency (CED), and nutritional status based on body mass index). The method of the study was descriptive quantitative. The sample for this study was 76 brides-to-be who visited the Berbah Health Center for the period August-October 2022, and were selected by purposive sampling. The data obtained was secondary data obtained from medical records. The results showed that 61.8% of women’s health status was poor (one of the 3 nutritional status indicators was not in the normal category). Incidence of anemia 28.9%, chronic energy deficiency 15.8%, overweight and obesity 22.4%, very thin and thin 34.2%. Conclusion: the prevalence of problems with the nutritional status of the bride is still high. Further studies related to the causes of nutritional problems in future brides are needed

Abstract

In order to develop effective mentoring programme, it is important to identify the needs of the nurse mentors.  A lot has been documented about the needs of the nurse mentees, however, there is a dearth of recent literature finding the support needs of the nurse mentors. The aim of this integrative review was to synthesize the literature on the support needs of the nurse mentors in their mentoring role. The search was steered across Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature; Direct of Open Access Journals; Google Scholar, PubMed/MEDLINE, Science Direct, and SCOPUS, in order to identify challenges and support that need to provide to the nurse mentors in their mentoring role. The Medical Subject Headings according to National Library of Medicine was used to search for the key concepts. Key search concepts were entered into the query box on the main PubMed page and searched. The search details page was check to determine how PubMed processed the search. The same concepts were used on the database to search for the articles which were included in this review. Seven subthemes, twenty categories were identified and classified into two main themes: Challenges to effective mentoring; Support needed by the nurse mentors. The review identifies challenges faced by nurse mentors and concludes that they need support. This study suggests that policy makers should make a concerted effort by availing resources for mentoring role. Workshops to equip mentors and collaboration between different stakeholders might help to enhance the support of the nurse mentors. Future research should analyse collaboration in support of the nurse mentors in their mentoring role

Abstract

The prevalence of overweight and obesity among children has become a global epidemic. The causes of obesity are multifactorial. Changes in lifestyle that lead to westernization and sedentary result in changes in eating patterns in children. The objective of this study was to determine the differences in maternal nutritional knowledge before and after counseling on balanced nutrition using e-booklets and their correlation to the consumption level of elementary school children who experience excess nutrition. The research design used was a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. A sample of 31 mothers and children who are experiencing excess nutrition from SDN 1 and 2 Sambirejo, Trenggalek regency was selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis employed the Paired Sample T-Test and Chi-Square test. There was an increase in the average score of mothers' knowledge from 69.03 to 77.41 with a p-value = 0.003 with  = 0.05. However, there was no correlation between a mother's knowledge and intake of energy, carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Nutrition counseling using e-booklet media can increase mothers' knowledge but it is not related to the intake of elementary school children who have more nutrition

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic condition that occurs when there is an increase in glucose levels in the blood because the body cannot produce enough insulin or use insulin effectively. In stressful conditions, it can increase the hormone adrenaline which can convert glycogen reserves in the liver into glucose and increase blood sugar in diabetes mellitus patients. The objective of this research was to prove the effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) on stress levels in Diabetes Mellitus patients. Research design pre-post test control group design. The experimental group was given treatment in the form of progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) while the control group received treatment as usual/conventional. The samples in this research were some DM patients at the Mentikan Community Health Center, Mojokerto City, totaling 35 respondents. The results of the pre-test and post-test in the treatment and control groups showed that there was a reduction in stress. It was found that there was a significant decrease in stress in both the treatment group, this was indicated by p=0.001 for the treatment group, while in the control group it was found to be p=0.303, so the decrease stress is not significant. After carrying out PMR, it is hoped that the client will be able to manage the body's condition in response to stress.
