Abstract

Overweight and obesity are now a health problem in society. The role of stakeholder, especially in educational institutions, namely the Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) in the obesity prevention and prevention program is very necessary from the beginning, namely the school period. The obesity prevention and prevention training program for health workers and UKS coaches has never been done by the Puskesmas Sisir. The purpose of this activity is to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers and health workers in the prevention and control of obesity and obesity in elementary school children. The method of training with lectures, demonstrations and practices can increase participants' nutritional knowledge from an average score of 51.7 to 83.4 and make the skills in measuring height and weight gain be better and more correct. The sustainability of this activity must involve the participation and commitment of various stakeholder as well as the activity of Puskesmas staff. Activities at school will be effective by involving teachers and students and also training students to be able to carry out these activities independently.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of methods with lecture and discussion and answer on posyandu cadres have not been able to increase on knowledge in prevention efforts IDD. The use of media education can facilitate the delivery of information. The combination is expected to use extension methods presented information readily accepted and understood. The effect of extension methods with the media booklet on knowledge, attitudes and skills posyandu cadres. The study is quasi experiment pre post non randomized control group design. Sample is consisted of 66 posyandu cadres in the health centers Junrejo region are divided 2 groups, the intervention group consisted of 33 posyandu cadres given of lecturing the method lecture, discussion and demonstration as well as given a booklet and 33 posyandu cadres control group obtain lecture without given a booklet. Measurements score on knowledge performed 3 times before, after and one month after intervention. Statistical test using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney. There were significant differences in score mean knowledge (p = 0.0001between before and after one month intervention. Both groups showed significant difference score mean knowledge (p = 0.0001) and skills (p = 0.028), but not on the score mean attitude (p = 0.368) at the end of the study. Extension methods by providing booklet media can improve knowledge, attitudes and skills posyandu cadres in prevention efforts IDD. Keywords: knowledge, posyandu cadres, booklet.

Abstract

Background: The development of ice cream products by adding certain ingredients such as fiber can improve the quality of the product as a healthy food. Research pur¬poses: This study aims to analyze the effect of the water-soluble polysaccharide substi¬tution of gembili tubers with purple sweet potato flour on nutritional quality, physico-chemical properties, and organoleptic quality of ice cream. Method: This study used a completely randomized design (CRD), consists of four levels, namely control (P0) and water-soluble polysaccharide substitution treatment of gembili tubers with purple sweet potato flour; P1, P2, P3 with three replications each. Results and Discussion: The results of the research on ice cream substitution of water-soluble polysaccharide of gembili tubers with purple sweet potato flour showed a significant effect (P <0.05) on ash, protein, and carbohydrate content, and there was no significant effect on mois¬ture content and energy value. Caused increase in the volume of ice cream products at all levels of substitution treatment (P0, P1, P2, and P3). P0 was the ice cream prod¬uct with the highest increase (2,057 times, and then P3 (1,933 times). In the treatment of ice cream, water-soluble polysaccharide substitution of gembili tubers with purple sweet potato flour, there was a change in the ash, protein, fat, carbohydrate content. energy and increased fiber content. Conclusion: The best level of treatment based on the effectiveness index is P3.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kegemukan menjadi salah satu masalah gizi di Indonesia. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kegemukan yaitu tingkat pengetahuan, tingkat konsumsi, dan aktivitas fisik. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan status gizi yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas V di SDN Kaliwungu 1 Jombang menggunakan penilaian IMT/U ditemukan sebanyak 14.28% gemuk, 25% obesitas, dan 60.7% dengan status gizi normal. Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan, tingkat konsumsi energi, dan aktivitas fisik sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan gizi seimbang dengan media komik pada siswa yang mengalami kegemukan di SDN Kaliwungu 1 Jombang sebagai tambahan pengetahuan Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Total sampel penelitian sebanyak 21 responden. Pengumpulan data tingkat konsumsi energi responden dengan melakukan recall 2x24 jam, tingkat pengetahuan dengan kuesioner gizi seimbang, dan aktivitas fisik dengan kuesioner Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C). Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired Sample T Test jika data berdistribusi normal dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranked Test. Hasil: Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranked Test pengetahuan menunjukkan p=0.00 (p<0.05), tingkat konsumsi energi p=0.023 (p<0.05), dan aktivitas fisik p=0.060 (p<0.05) Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan untuk konsumsi energi responden sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan gizi seimbang dan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan untuk aktivitas fisik sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan gizi seimbang.

be implemented by all policymakers. One of the strategic issues in accelerating stunting reduction in Indonesia is strengthening and increasing institutional capacity in reducing stunting. It is necessary to maintain regulations to ensure the implementation of stunting prevention and control efforts in the regions, and increase knowledge, and community participation. Objective: This study aims to determine the readiness to implement an integrated stunting reduction intervention through the DESA EMAS program at the stunting locus in Klojen District. Research method: This study uses a descriptive study method which was carried out in September – October 2022. The target of the study is regional apparatus organizations at the sub-district level at three stunting in Klojen District. Data collecting in the form of interviews with guided questions related to commitment, supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and sub-district programs. Data analysis was done descriptively in the form of textual. Results: The readiness to implement an integrated stunting reduction intervention through Desa Emas Program can be seen from the commitment of the three loci to stunting handling, cross-sectoral collaboration, and the availability of human resources capable of making three program (DASHAT, Budikdamber and urban farming). Commitment to human resources through the involvement of sub-district officials, sub-district health workers, assistant staff for stunting activities, health development cadres, POSYANDU cadres, and PAUD teachers. Conclusion: The three sub-districts in Klojen District have made efforts to implement stunting management commitments through available resources and limited funding. Abstract

Background: The role of early childhood education teachers (PAUD) is getting bigger in areas related to child nutrition and become potential contributors in improving and reducing stunting cases in children under five. The purpose of this study is how to promote health through the right food for PAUD-aged children. The role of PAUD teachers as well as health cadres is to become best practice in efforts to reduce stunting in the Malang City, Indonesia. Methods: This research is an analytic observational cross sectional design, using 150 PAUD teachers as well as health cadres who carry out best practice efforts to reduce stunting through evidence-based in-depth interviews. Results: The best practices that have been implemented are : the number of PAUD-age children who receive PMT directly; the ease of delivery of health promotion to the community, especially parents or child caretakers; higher community compliance; and a significant increase in children's weight and height. The impact and output of the dual role of PAUD teachers as health cadres in reducing stunting is more effective. Conclusion: This dual role of early childhood teachers as health cadres needs to be appreciated, defined, and rewarded by national authorities, based on local needs, and programmed according to policy-based evidence, such as in the formation of the Team for the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction (TPPS).

Abstract

Latar belakang: Picky eater dapat menyebabkan asupan makan tidak mencukupi kebutuhan. Apabila berlangsung lama, maka dapat mempengaruhi status gizi. Berat badan anak dapat menjadi kurang, dan berdampak pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Tujuan: untuk menganalisis hubungan picky eater  dengan asupan makan dan status gizi pada anak prasekolah. Metode: Sejumlah 139 anak usia 3-5 tahun dari 12 posyandu di Kota Malang diikutkan dalam penelitian cross-sectional ini menggunakan purpossive sampling. Status picky eater ditentukan berdasarkan Children’s Eating Behaviour Questionnaire (CEBQ), sedangkan asupan makan (energi, protein, seng) dikumpulkan menggunakan food recall 3x24 jam. Status gizi ditentukan menggunakan parameter BB/U. Perbedaan status gizi pada anak berdasarkan status picky eater dianalisa menggunakan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov, sedangkan perbedaan asupan makan diuji menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney.  Hasil: Sebanyak 12,2% anak mengalami picky eater dan 1,4% anak mengalami gizi buruk. Tidak ada perbedaan asupan makan dan status gizi pada anak picky eater dengan yang tidak picky eater (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: Tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna pada asupan makan dan status gizi antara anak picky eater dengan yang tidak. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kecenderungan anak picky eater memiliki status gizi yang lebih kurang disbanding anak yang tidak picky eater

Abstract

Malang City is one of the autonomous regions and is the second big city in East Java after Surabaya City. Malang City is currently listed as the city with the second smallest poverty percentage in East Java after Batu City, which is 5.9 percent of the total population. Nutritional problems in Malang City have been presented in the Basic Health Research of East Java Province in 2013. The incidence of stunting in Malang City has increased from 2007 to 2013 by 22.3 – 29.6%. In the context of preventing the occurrence of Stunting Toddlers, mentoring will be carried out with Cadres who have been trained in the first stage of Community Service for pregnant women who have a history of and or are at risk of giving birth to short - very short toddlers. Provide assistance to pregnant women in order to prevent stunting in toddlers in Samaan Village, Kec. Lowokwaru in Malang City. Community service is carried out by providing assistance by cadres to pregnant women for 6 months in Samaan Village, Rampal Celaket Community Health Center. The age of pregnant women in the Rampal Celaket Health Center area based on the results of the questionnaire was <20 years totaling 2 (28.5%) people, 21-25 years old 2 (28.5%) people, 26-30 years old totaling 1 (14.2% ) people, and >40 years old amounted to 1 (14.2%) people. all pregnant women are ordinary housewives and family income <UMR as many as 7 people (100%). Pregnant women before education showed that the 7 mothers involved had a low level of knowledge. Most of the pregnant women have consumption levels of energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrates which are included in the category of weight deficit (consumption rate <70%). A total of 57.1% (4 people) of pregnant women experienced Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK). There was an increase in knowledge of pregnant women about MPGRS, Balanced Nutrition, Exclusive Breastfeeding for toddlers, the accuracy of giving MP ASI to toddlers, Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS).

Abstract

The problem with nutrition that occurs in mothers pregnant is Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK). Intake of energy and protein in the mother pregnant classified low below 70% figure adequacy amounting to 52.6% and 52.2%. Treatment to overcome Chronic Energy Deficiency in Pregnant Women by giving additions food made from local tuna, moringa, and tempeh. Obtain formulation tuna , moringa and tempeh as gimbap bite for pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency. This study used type study experiment with design study design random complete (RAL) with treatment formulation of tuna, moringa and tempeh . Experiments carried out consist of three levels of treatment (50:30:20), (45:25:30), and (40:20:40). Amino Acid score was more than 100 and the NPU and VC values were ?70. Data on organoleptic properties were collected by organoleptic test using hedonic method and statistically analyzed using Friedman at the 95% confidence level (p=0,05). Gimbap tuna, moringa, and tempeh in 100 grams own content energy 190.4-192,6 kcal , protein 6.9-7.1 grams, fat 6.1-6.4 grams and carbohydrates 27.2-27,4 grams. Gimbap tuna, moringa, and tempeh were not difference significant color, aroma, taste, and texture (p>0,05). Gimbap with the proportion of tuna 45: Moringa 25: tempeh 35 contains 370,7 kcal , 13.4 grams of protein, 12.3 grams of fat, and 51.9 grams of carbohydrates meets 15,2% of the needs for energy and 21,9% of maternal protein requirements for pregnant women .

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Stunting merupakan masalah gizi pada anak terutama dibawah usia lima tahun (balita). Salah satu pilar Strategi Nasional Percepatan Pencegahan Stunting adalah Kampanye nasional dan komunikasi perubahan perilaku (Pilar 2). Komunikasi perubahan perilaku di level desa melibatkan Tim Pendamping Keluarga yang merupakan ujung tombak untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat sehingga memicu adopsi perilaku positif untuk mencegah stunting terutama di periode 1000 HPK. Partisipasi aktif dalam Pelatihan Gizi Berbasis Komunikasi Perubahan Perilaku dapat meningkatkan kapasitas Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK) sebagai konselor Stunting. Tujuan : Mengevaluasi perubahan pengetahuan gizi pada tim pendamping keluarga setelah melakukan pelatihan gizi berbasis komunikasi perubahan perilaku (Behaviour Change Communication). Metode Penelitian : Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September – Desember 2022 pada 10 lokus stunting di Kota Malang, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain quasi experiment. Sampel adalah semua tim pendamping keluarga yang terdiri dari kader KB dan kader posyandu pada 10 lokus stunting kota malang sejumlah 118 orang. Model pelatihan gizi ini menggunakan pembelajaran dalam bentuk focus grup discussion. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji t-test untuk data tingkat pengetahuan dan uji Mc Necmar untuk analisis jawaban benar tiap pertanyaan. Hasil Penelitian : Proporsi jawaban benar dari 8 pertanyaan meningkat signifikan setelah pelatihan (p<0.05) dan ada 2 pertanyaan terkait penyimpanan ASI dan kelancaran ASI yang belum meningkat secara signifikan (p>0.05). Rata-rata skor pengetahuan gizi sebelum pelatihan sebesar 50.42 ± 15.1 66.6 ± 17.79. Pada akhir pelatihan skor pengetahuan gizi meningkat secara signifikan p = 0,0001 dengan peningkatan 16.6. Proporsi peserta dengan pengetahuan gizi kategori tinggi meningkat dari 5.1% menjadi 33.9% dan kategori rendah menurun dari 32.2% menjadi 11%. Kesimpulan : Model edukasi berbasis komunikasi perubahan perilaku dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi secara signifikan, sehingga dapat diaplikasikan untuk pendekatan penanganan stunting secara individu.
