Abstract

Schizoaffective disorders is a mental disorder characterized by a combination of psychotic and affective symptoms, one of which is auditory hallucinations. Untreated hallucinations can interfere with daily functioning and may pose risks to the individual and others. The management of hallucinations is not limited to pharmacological therapy but can also be supported by complementary interventions such as drawing and journaling. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of drawing and journaling interventions in reducing auditory hallucinations in a patient with manic-type schizoaffective disorder. This study employed a clinical case report design with a descriptive approach involving a 23-year-old male patient diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, manic type, at the West Java Provincial Mental Hospital. The interventions were conducted over four consecutive days, with a duration of 15–20 minutes per session. Data were collected through observation and interviews based on the Mental Health Nursing Care Standards and were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed a gradual decrease in the frequency and intensity of hallucinations, from 5–6 times per day to complete absence in the final session. In addition, the patient demonstrated improved focus, cooperativeness, and ability to express emotions. The combination of drawing and journaling interventions was effective in reducing hallucinations by helping the patient divert attention, express emotions, and enhance self-awareness. These interventions are effective as complementary therapies in reducing auditory hallucinations and improving psychological well-being in patients with schizoaffective disorder.

Abstract

Fish Auctions (TPI) play a key role in fisheries activities and serve as a critical factor in driving and improving fishermen’s livelihoods and well-being. This study aims to analyze the income levels of capture fishermen and to examine the determinants of fishing frequency, fishing gear capacity, and marine fish prices on the income of capture fishermen at the Pasar Bawah Manna Fish Auction in South Bengkulu Regency. The research method employed was a quantitative approach using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate an average catch of 336 kg per fisherman per month and income of Rp.5,717,489 per fisherman per month. The fishing frequency variable (X1) had a calculated t-value of 3.049 with a p-value of 0.003; the fishing gear capacity variable (X2) had a calculated t-value of 2.284 with a p-value of 0.025; and the marine fish price variable (X3) had a calculated t-value of 2.393 with a p-value of 0.019. The t-table value of 1.666 at a significance level of 0.05 indicates that the calculated t-values for the fishing frequency, fishing gear capacity, and sea fish price variables are greater than the t-table value; therefore, all variables influence the income of capture fishermen.

Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 45 respondents who are active Instagram users and have viewed news content on the Tribun Bengkulu Instagram account. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression, the coefficient of determination, and a t-test. The results show a regression coefficient of 0.728, indicating a strong positive relationship between netizen comments and readers' perceptions. The regression test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The magnitude of the influence of netizen comments on readers' perceptions, based on the R-squared value, is 72.8%, while 27.2% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Abstract

This article examines regional head elections through the Regional House of Representatives as an open legal policy from the perspective of Article 18 paragraph (4) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This issue is significant because the phrase “democratically elected” does not expressly determine whether regional heads must be elected directly by the people or may be elected through a representative institution. The debate has become increasingly relevant in light of various problems associated with direct regional head elections, including high political costs, money politics, social polarization, and the budgetary burden of election administration. This article aims to analyze the legal position of regional head elections through the Regional House of Representatives as an open legal policy, compare direct and indirect models for selecting local government heads in several countries, and formulate constitutional limits to ensure that such a model does not diminish popular sovereignty. This research employs normative legal research using conceptual, statutory, and comparative approaches. The findings show that regional head elections through the Regional House of Representatives may be positioned as an open legal policy because Article 18 paragraph (4) does not constitutionally require a direct election model. However, such policy cannot be understood as unlimited legislative freedom. Election through the Regional House of Representatives can only be justified if it is designed to be open, deliberative, transparent, accountable, free from transactional politics, and accompanied by effective oversight and dispute-resolution mechanisms.
