Abstract

Perbedaan gaya mengajar antar guru di sekolah dasar sering menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran dan keterlibatan siswa, terutama dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan partisipasi aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan gaya mengajar demokratis dan otoriter yang diterapkan oleh guru kelas rendah di sekolah dasar serta dampakterhadap keterlibatan kognitif, dan perilaku siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus kualitatif di Sekolah Dasar Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui trigulasi Teknik, meliputi wawancara mendalam dengan guru kelas, observasi non-partisipan pada proses pembelajaran, dan analisis dokumentasi seperti RPP dan hasil evaluasi siswa. Unit analisis (kasus) adalah perbeddaan gaya mengajar yang diterapkan oleh dua guru adalah kunci dalam kondisi anak didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya mengajar demokratis mendorong partisipasi aktif, kepercayaan diri, dan motivasi siswa. Sementara gaya otoriter menekankan kedisiplinan namun membatasi kreativitas dan inisiatif. Tiga tema utama teridentifikasi: (1) Karakteristik Gaya Mengajar (2) Alasan Penerapan, serta (3) Dampak Terhadap Siswa. Temuan ini menjawab tujuan penelitian dengan menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan gaya mengajar mempengaruhi dinamika kelas dan motivasi siswa secara signifikan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi memberikan model praktik baik (best practice) yang dapat direplikasi oleh pendidk di Sekolah Dasar dengan kondisi serupa untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogic guru sesuai Kurukulum Merdeka. Kata kunci: Gaya Mengajar Demokratis, Gaya Mengajar Otoriter, Keterlibatan Siswa, Sekolah Dasar, Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Learning that is still centered on traditional classrooms often makes students less active and minimally involved with the environment. This research aims to analyze the implementation of nature-based creative classes as a strategy to increase learning comfort, motivation, and environmental care character in elementary school students in wetland areas. The research uses a qualitative case study design at SDN SN Sungai Miai 5 Banjarmasin with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research analysis unit is the teacher's adaptive practice in designing, managing, and growing a nature-based classroom culture. Research results show that the implementation of nature-based creative classes is an integrated strategy with five main themes: the concept of nature-based space, adaptive space arrangement, the impact of nature classes on comfort and learning focus, the role of teachers as designers and facilitators, as well as the formation of student values and characters. This finding confirms that the creativity and pedagogical leadership of teachers is able to produce contextual learning that is in accordance with the characteristics of the wetland ecosystem and can be replicated in schools with similar conditions.

Abstract

The scaffolding strategy represents a learning approach in which teachers act as guides and supporters to help students achieve their learning goals. The primary focus of this strategy is to provide appropriate and effective support so that students can learn more independently and achieve predetermined learning goals. The aim of this research is to illustrate how the scaffolding strategy is implemented in Pancasila education at SDN Sungai Miai 2 Banjarmasin, while also identifying the influences, supports, obstacles, and implications of its development. The research method used is a qualitative case study with data collection techniques consisting of semi-structured interviews and direct observation of the implementation of learning activities. The collected data were then analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of meaning that emerge from field findings. Research findings demonstrate that the use of scaffolding strategies in Pancasila education at the primary school level effectively helps students better understand Pancasila values. Through this strategy, students demonstrate higher levels of activity and engagement in learning, as well as improved skills in analyzing and evaluating information.

Abstract

The Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is an approach that emphasizes the active involvement of students in producing tangible products through project completion stages. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of PjBL in elementary schools and its impact on student creativity, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. Furthermore, this study compared the creativity of students learning through PjBL with students learning using conventional methods. The results indicate that PjBL is able to create meaningful learning because students gain direct experience in exploring ideas and solving problems. Student creativity increases through activities such as designing, collaborating, documenting, and documenting project results. Factors supporting the effectiveness of PjBL include teacher competence, infrastructure, and student motivation. While the main obstacles are time constraints and differences in student abilities within groups. A comparison between the experimental and control classes revealed significant differences, with the class implementing PjBL achieving greater increases in creativity. Therefore, PjBL is recommended as a relevant learning method for developing student creativity in line with the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study examines the role of organizational communication in building effective work teams within modern organizational settings. The core issue addressed is that many organizations continue to experience miscommunication, limited coordination, and weak team cohesion, which hinder overall performance. The purpose of this study is to identify the key elements of organizational communication that contribute to team effectiveness, explain the mechanisms through which communication influences team outcomes, and describe the challenges and strategies for optimizing communication practices. This research employs a literature review method by analyzing relevant journal articles, books, and academic publications. The results indicate that effective communication implemented through vertical, horizontal, and diagonal channels plays a crucial role in enhancing coordination, fostering trust, and strengthening collaboration among team members. Furthermore, clear and open communication improves productivity, reduces misunderstandings, and supports shared understanding within the team. The study also highlights that communication serves not only as a tool for transmitting information but also as a strategic component that shapes team dynamics and long-term performance. Overall, the findings emphasize the need for organizations to systematically manage communication practices in order to develop and maintain effective work teams.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for managing educational facilities and infrastructure, as well as their resilience against disasters in educational institutions, to support sustainable education in the digital era and amid high-risk conditions. The method employed is a literature review with a qualitative approach, involving data collection from national/international journals, scientific articles, and books via platforms such as Google Scholar, PubMed, and DOAJ, followed by descriptive analysis to summarize findings and identify knowledge gaps. The results indicate that facility and infrastructure management encompasses seven main strategies planning, reception, inventory, security, storage, disposal, and evaluation while resilience against disasters involves five steps: disaster-resistant building design, utility backups, training simulations, recovery planning, and external collaborations. Integrating these strategies enhances resilience, minimizes disruptions, and ensures safety and continuity of the teaching-learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a wordwall-based mathematics learning evaluation test using a deep learning and TPACK approach in elementary schools. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results indicate that the wordwall-based evaluation test can improve students' conceptual understanding, motivation, and engagement in mathematics learning. Furthermore, the use of a wordwall makes the evaluation test more interactive and enjoyable. This research is expected to provide an alternative, innovative and effective mathematics learning evaluation test.

Abstract

This study analyzes risk management of internet disruptions caused by extreme weather on online learning in Padang City. Using a qualitative approach with literature study methods, this research examines the types of risks, causal factors, impacts, and mitigation strategies. The findings reveal that extreme weather, particularly Tropical Cyclone Seed 95B, negative Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD), and peak rainy season, caused significant internet disruptions affecting students, teachers, and educational institutions. Students experienced learning delays, decreased concentration, and psychological stress. Teachers faced increased workload in preparing alternative materials and limited interaction with students. Schools encountered difficulties in managing schedules, administration, and educational innovation. The study emphasizes the importance of local policies that strengthen telecommunication infrastructure, cross-sector collaboration, and digital literacy to maintain learning continuity. This research provides comprehensive insights into internet disruption risk management and offers strategic recommendations for educational resilience in regions prone to extreme weather.

Abstract

Flash floods are natural disasters that have the potential to cause serious disruptions to the continuity of the learning process, particularly in disaster-prone regions such as West Sumatra. This study aims to analyze the risk of learning disruption at SMAN 12 Padang as a result of the flash flood that occurred in December 2025, including risk identification, measurement of impact levels, and strategies for learning mitigation and recovery. The study employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with students and documentation studies of school archives and policies, and then analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that the risks of learning disruption originate from both external and internal school factors. The highest risks include damage to learning facilities and infrastructure, disruption of academic schedules, and students’ difficulties in adapting to emergency learning systems. Analysis using the Estimated Maximum Loss (EML) approach shows that damage to learning facilities has the most significant impact on the teaching and learning process. Mitigation efforts were carried out through facility restoration, the implementation of flexible academic policies, adjustments to learning methods, and psychosocial support for students. Recovery strategies are directed toward curriculum restructuring, remedial programs, enhancing teachers’ capacity, and strengthening collaboration with stakeholders. This study underscores the importance of disaster-based educational risk management in maintaining the resilience and sustainability of learning.

Abstract

The implementation of the New Student Admission System (PPDB) based on zoning is intended to ensure equitable access to education. However, in practice, this policy has generated various social and administrative conflicts. One prominent case is the sealing of SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi in 2023, which disrupted the teaching and learning process. This study aims to analyze the failure of risk management in the implementation of the PPDB zoning system and its impact on institutional stability and learning continuity. This research employs a literature review method by examining national and international journal articles, education policy documents, and relevant research reports published between 2019 and 2024. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis using the ISO 31000 risk management framework. The results indicate that the absence of systematic risk identification, weak policy communication, and the lack of early warning mechanisms contributed significantly to the escalation of social conflict. The study concludes that integrating risk-based governance into PPDB planning and implementation is essential to prevent similar incidents and to ensure the sustainability of teaching and learning activities in public schools.
