Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing organizational development through strengthening human resource competence at SDN 52 Parupuk Tabing, focusing on the roles of external factors such as education and economics. Organizational development is a planned process to enhance organizational effectiveness by changing the behavior of its members, making it crucial in educational institutions. SDN 52 Parupuk Tabing has implemented development programs like in-depth learning training and coding training for teachers and administrative staff. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach to deeply understand the phenomena through direct interaction with research subjects and describing data in words. The research subjects were the school principal, teachers, and administrative staff. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the school successfully implemented organizational development principles through a synergy of internal factors (participative leadership, clear structure, and intrinsic motivation) and external factors (adaptation to technology, support from educational policies, and economic resource management). The success highlights that an education organization oriented toward innovation and technology, supported by participative leadership and a collaborative culture, can enhance effectiveness, professionalism, and competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the views of SDN 13 Surau Gadang regarding educational organizational development in Padang City. The main objective of this study is to understand how school administrators improve learning and apply organizational development concepts to increase student self-confidence and work efficiency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, involving observation and in-depth interviews. The research findings indicate that SDN 13 Surau Gadang has a positive view of organizational development, which is manifested in collaborative efforts in planning, implementing, and evaluating school programs. However, several issues remain, such as daily limitations and a lack of ongoing training for educators. Overall, organizational development at SDN 13 Surau Gadang shows a progressive trend, although it still requires improvements in management and active participation from all school personnel.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya asumsi terhadap manusia dalam proses pengembangan organisasi, khususnya pada lembaga pendidikan dasar. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada SDN 28 Air Tawar Timur serta beberapa sekolah dasar dan menengah lainnya di Kota Padang dan sekitarnya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menggali bagaimana peran individu, kelompok, dan organisasi berkontribusi terhadap efektivitas perubahan dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manusia merupakan faktor utama dalam pengembangan organisasi; guru, kepala sekolah, dan tenaga administrasi berperan aktif dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah. Implementasi pengembangan organisasi yang berorientasi pada manusia mampu menciptakan iklim kerja kondusif dan mendorong peningkatan mutu secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Bentuk perubahan yang terjadi di SD Negeri 24 Perupuk Tabing. mengingat perubahan organisasi adalah dimensi krusial dalam pengembangan institusi yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara yang mendalam dengan narasumber agen perubahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SD Negeri 24 Perupuk Tabing mengalami empat bentuk perubahan, yakni perubahan kecil berdampak kecil, perubahan kecil berdampak besar, perubahan besar berdampak kecil, dan perubahan besar berdampak besar. Masing-masing bentuk membawa kontribusi yang berbeda terhadap peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran dan budaya sekolah. Faktor utama yang mendorong keberhasilan perubahan adalah kolaborasi guru dalam komunitas belajar, dukungan kepala sekolah, serta budaya kerja yang terbuka dan adaptif. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa perubahan organisasi di sekolah dasar dapat berjalan efektif apabila didukung oleh kepemimpinan partisipatif dan komitmen kolektif seluruh warga sekolah.

Abstract

Change agents are key elements in organizational processes, particularly in educational settings such as elementary schools. This article examines the essential qualifications that change agents must possess to facilitate effective transformation at SDN 05 Air Tawar Barat. Based on change management theory, these qualifications include technical knowledge of education and organization, communication and collaboration skills, leadership and motivational abilities, adaptive analysis, and ethical and sustainable commitment. The implementation of these qualifications at the school has been shown to support innovations such as digitalization of learning and literacy programs, despite the challenges of limited resources. The study findings indicate that qualified change agents can improve the quality of education and student well-being, with implications for sustainable school development. This research encourages further training for change agents to support educational reform.

Abstract

This research examines the development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instructional design for prospective madrasah teachers through four main stages: needs analysis, design principles and models, implementation, and impact evaluation. The study results indicate a gap between mastery of religious theory and pedagogical skills, which requires contextual needs analysis based on local data. Effective instructional design principles include an integrative approach, student-centeredness, contextualization for the digital era, and adaptability to student diversity. Design models such as ADDIE, CTL, and differentiated learning are considered relevant for developing 21st-century competencies. Implementation is carried out through microteaching, project-based learning, and the use of digital technology to enhance the creativity and reflection of prospective teachers. Formative and summative evaluations are used to assess improvements in teaching skills, professionalism, and internalization of Islamic values. Overall, integrated and reflective PAI instructional design can produce prospective madrasah teachers who are adaptive, have character, and are competent in facing the challenges of modern education.

Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial telah membentuk karakteristik baru pada peserta didik generasi digital yang lebih kritis, cepat bereaksi, dan terbiasa dengan informasi instan. Kondisi ini menuntut pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) untuk beradaptasi agar tetap relevan dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik peserta didik di era media sosial serta implikasinya terhadap pengembangan desain pembelajaran PAI yang humanis dan kontekstual. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui telaah literatur dan analisis fenomenologis terhadap perilaku belajar generasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik masa kini cenderung memiliki ketergantungan pada teknologi, daya atensi yang singkat, namun juga potensi besar dalam berpikir kreatif dan kolaboratif. Oleh karena itu, desain pembelajaran PAI perlu menekankan interaksi yang dialogis, pendekatan personal yang empatik, serta pemanfaatan media digital sebagai sarana internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran PAI di era media sosial dapat menjadi ruang yang tidak hanya informatif, tetapi juga transformatif dalam membentuk karakter spiritual dan moral peserta didik secara utuh.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Negeri Padang plays a key role in supporting higher education to meet community needs. One implemented program was English tutoring for children in Kubang Utara Sikabu Village. The activity took place over four days with six meetings. The method used was a kinesthetic approach with ice-breaking activities aimed at boosting children’s engagement in learning. Data were collected by directly observing students’ participation and responses during the activities. The results showed that ice-breaking activities based on a kinesthetic approach effectively increased children’s participation, motivation, and enthusiasm for learning English. This approach also created a more enjoyable and interactive learning environment, which is especially helpful for young learners in rural areas. Therefore, using kinesthetic strategies through ice-breaking activities can be an effective way to improve children’s involvement and interest in English learning during community-based educational programs.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of risk management in development projects as a strategic step to identify, analyze, and control potential risks that can hinder the smooth running and success of a project. Development projects have a high level of complexity and uncertainty, making them vulnerable to various risks such as delays, cost overruns, and substandard quality. Through a systematic risk management approach, projects can anticipate and minimize the negative impacts of these risks. The risk management process, consisting of risk identification, evaluation, handling, and monitoring, has been proven to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project implementation. This study emphasizes the importance of involving all stakeholders in the risk management process so that solutions are more appropriate and responsive to field conditions. The study results show that good risk management implementation enables development projects to achieve their time, budget, and quality targets more optimally. Thus, risk management is not only a risk mitigation measure but also a key factor in strengthening the success and sustainability of development projects in today's dynamic era.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the educational landscape opens new avenues for educators to apply differentiated instruction in a more structured and efficient manner. Through AI, teachers can now run diagnostic evaluations quickly, map out students' individual learning profiles, and subsequently devise teaching strategies that truly align with each learner's readiness level, interests, and learning styles. This qualitative case study focuses on the implementation of AI-based differentiated instruction at the elementary school level. Its objective is to deeply analyze the strategies employed, their influence on the learning process and outcomes, and the practical challenges encountered in the field. The findings reveal that AI plays a critical role as a supportive tool for teachers in conducting initial assessments, automatically grouping students based on their profiles, offering a diversity of learning activities, and creating assessment rubrics based on the Criteria for Learning Goal Attainment (KKTP). Significantly, this implementation has triggered an increase in motivation, active student engagement, a more equitable grasp of the material, and it also fosters teacher creativity in lesson planning. However, several obstacles emerged in the field, including limitations in technological infrastructure, unstable electricity supply issues, varying levels of digital literacy among teachers, and the increased duration required for lesson preparation. Therefore, this study concludes that AI's potential to strengthen differentiated instruction will only be optimally realized provided that adequate infrastructure support, continuous professional training, and a strong culture of collaboration among educators are ensured.
