Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the description of the improvement in essay writing skills in the Indonesian language subject of fifth grade students at SDN Mannuruki Makassar City; (2) to determine the effect of applying the estafet writing method to increasing the ability to write essays in the Indonesian subject of fifth grade students at SDN Mannuruki Makassar City. This research is an experimental research with a quantitative research approach using the Paired Samples T-Test analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that: (1) after being given treatment in the experimental group, student scores experienced a significant increase. While the results of the post-test in the control group which were not given treatment or used conventional methods, also experienced a significant increase. However, the average obtained in the class that was given the treatment (experiment) or the class that used the chain writing method was higher; (2) there is a positive effect of applying the chain writing method to improving the writing skills of fifth grade students at SDN Mannuruki Makassar City. Therefore, teachers are advised to use the serial writing method in Indonesian subjects as an innovation in teaching and learning activities so that students do not feel bored in the learning process and the material presented can be conveyed and well received.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the participants' responses to the material on the Basic Values of Peace and to find out changes in the attitude of the participants resulting from the material on the Basic Values of Peace in the activities of the Ministry of Finance of One Country. This research was conducted with quantitative methods. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire which was distributed to all participants via the Google form. The research was conducted on junior high school students who were participants in the One Country Ministry of Finance activities. The results showed that: first, the participants really felt the need to get material on the basic values of peace even though some of them claimed to have implemented these basic values. They also feel the great benefits of learning materials in forming a peaceful attitude in life; second, a positive change in attitude occurs as a result of learning the basic value of peace. They are more able to accept their physical condition, are better able to respond to differences, and are more motivated to create harmonious relationships with others.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to: (i) evaluate the trainees’s satisfaction on trainers and training performance; (ii) evaluate learning gain or improvement of trainees’s skills, knowledge, and attitude after training; and (iii) know the significant obstacles that can reduce the effectiveness of training. This research used the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model Level 1 and 2 through questionnaire, interview, and descriptive statistics method and IPA Model. The results reveal that: (1) The overall aspect of the implementation evaluation was assessed by participants in the very good category although it could not meet the level of expectations of participants. On the other hand, the trainers aspect has been able to meet the expectations of participants where the overall level of trainers performance has been assessed by participants and entered into the category of very good; (2) The evaluation component of the implementation for PJJ Penyuluh Perpajakan cannot be considered as a whole where the aspects/components of evaluation are spread in Quadrants I, II and III; (3) All participants get satisfactory scores so that it can be said that the participants have gained additional knowledge, skills, and attitudes after attending the training; (4) In the aspect of organizing, participants generally complain about inadequate internet network quality in some areas. Meanwhile, in the trainer aspect, in general participants give input so that the teachers can multiply the practice and games related to training materials.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling is an effort to help students or counselees to be able to face problems and achieve successful, independent, happy, prosperous, and optimal self-development tasks in their lives. Era 4.0 is a veil of guidance and counseling services that are now technology-based because technology in era 4.0 is developing very rapidly, causing changes in the field of education, including guidance and counseling. The research method used is a literature study of the concepts discussed based on literature sourced from relevant scientific articles and journals. Today, the provision of guidance and counseling services is not only carried out through conventional methods such as direct face-to-face, but can also be combined with technology which in addition to making it easier will also provide new breakthroughs such as variations in the provision of guidance and counseling services through interactive, interesting, and not tied to location but still prioritizing the code of ethics and principles of implementing guidance and counseling. Guidance and counseling must always be in line with technology so that guidance and counseling still exist and exist. However, it cannot be denied that the application of technology in guidance and counseling services is accompanied by various challenges that need to be overcome so that technology-based guidance and counseling services can produce optimal services for students. Thus, as a counseling teacher, you must be able to develop your competencies and skills, both in guidance and counseling services and also in the application of technology.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the apperception model in learning Al-Qur'an Hadith for MTs Al-Islamiyah students to increase learning motivation. This research method uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis took the form of descriptive interpretive and data validation using triagulation. The research results show that the implementation of the apperception model in learning is well realized, which is applied to aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation of learning accompanied by paying attention to supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as solutions to increase learning motivation. This research has implications for the importance of the teacher's role in implementing an apperception model in each lesson so that students are able to master old material and are ready to follow new learning material.

Abstract

The importance of adab in education is increasingly recognized amidst the moral and ethical challenges faced by today's young generation. Adab serves not only as a social norm but also as a foundation that bridges knowledge and deeds in shaping students' character. This article examines the role of adab in shaping students' character by integrating knowledge and actions through a literature review and qualitative analysis of relevant studies. Findings show that adab plays a crucial role in facilitating a deeper understanding of knowledge and the effective application of good deeds. Adab helps students appreciate knowledge and encourages them to apply it in beneficial actions for themselves and their surroundings. The conclusion of this study is that integrating adab into education can strengthen the relationship between knowledge and deeds, resulting in students with good character, broad knowledge, and righteous actions. The implications of these findings are the need for a more holistic educational approach, focusing on both knowledge transfer and the development of adab and character, to produce excellent and virtuous future generations.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 requires humans to be able to adapt to technology and machine automation. With technology, all human activities can be carried out easily. This is what Generation Z is now facing, where they are known as digital natives who are used to technology. Generation Z is known as a generation that lives side by side and cannot be separated from technology. Therefore, the education process, including the provision of guidance and counseling services, must also be adapted to the characteristics of Generation Z, which cannot be separated from technology. The method used in this research is the content analysis. The conclusion of this research is that in providing services to generation z in this era, the BK service method that can be used is the online counseling or cybercounseling method.

Abstract

This study aims to measure students' perceptions of the smartphone usage restriction policy implemented by the campus. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method and is analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The findings indicate that the majority of students hold a positive view of the policy, with most respondents agreeing that it helps them maintain discipline, stay focused on their studies, reduce time spent on less productive activities such as gaming and social media, and enhance their interaction with the campus environment. The policy is also considered effective in supporting better character development among students. The implications of these findings suggest that smartphone usage restrictions can be an effective tool for improving the quality of education and character formation in higher education settings.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the productivity of STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor lecturer from 2020 to June 2024 in writing scientific papers and publishing them until they are indexed in Google Scholar and analyzing them based on management perspective, especially in research management. This is based on the rationality that the publication of scientific works has now become evidence of increasing the quality of education in higher education, both from the functional career of individual lecturer, as well as in increasing the accreditation of their study programs/tertiary institutions. This reseach uses quatitative research to collect initial data about lecturers’ scientific productivity and qualitative research to analyze it descriptively-interpretively until conclusions are drawn. Especially in the management aspect. The results of the research show that in the last five years there has been a decline in the number of scientific works published by STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor lecturers in various national journals until they are indexed in Google Scholar. It can also be seen that there is a high gap in scientific productivity beetwen STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor lecturers in the number of documents, citation, i-index, and i10-index as well ad in their productivity as first authors, both as sole authors individually and as first authors collaboratively. This requires the implementation of scientific productivity management by lecturers in managing their research, which includes planning, implementing, controlling, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting research activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model in creating a more interactive and collaborative learning environment. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and classroom observations, engaging teachers and eleventh-grade students. The findings of the research indicate that the cooperative learning model successfully enhances students' interest in learning, with students becoming more active and engaged in the learning process. However, challenges also arise, particularly for shy students or those who struggle to interact. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that despite some obstacles, the implementation of this model yields positive results in creating a pleasant and productive learning atmosphere. The implications of this research contribute significantly to the development of PAI and Character Education, encouraging teachers to adopt cooperative methods and consider students' characteristics. Thus, this research not only offers practical strategies for educators but also enriches the literature on innovative learning approaches in the context of Islamic education.
