Abstract

Many students find the subject of Islamic religious education boring and try to avoid it. One of the reasons for this opinion is that the teacher's teaching method is still traditional and students feel bored and uncomfortable in the classroom. The purpose of learning Islamic religious education is to train students to become people of faith and belief, noble character, and equipped with knowledge and skills to practice Islamic teachings. One of the learning models that can be used to improve students' understanding of PAI learning is the problem-based learning (PBL) model. PBL is a student-centered learning model. In this model, students are faced with complex and difficult problems that they must solve. Students then work together in groups to solve the problem using the knowledge and skills they have. This research uses library research method, which is a method that collects information by understanding and examining theories in scientific literature.

The teacher is a person who conveys the mandate of knowledge as well as educates and is responsible for the personal formation of students. The teacher is also a teacher, who is required to be a professional and creative teacher in teaching, therefore the teacher must have creativity to uphold professional values in his work as a teaching staff. The formulation of the problem in this research is "Is there any influence of teacher's teaching creativity on the effectiveness of student learning at MTs Al-Husna" and "How much influence does teacher's teaching creativity have on the effectiveness of student learning at MTs Al-Husna". This study aims to "To find out whether there is an influence of teacher's teaching creativity on the effectiveness of student learning at MTs Al-Husna" and "To find out how much influence teacher's teaching creativity has on the effectiveness of student learning at MTs Al-Husna". The hypothesis that the researchers put forward is (Ho) there is no positive and significant influence between the influence of teacher's teaching creativity on the effectiveness of student learning and (Ha) there is a positive and significant influence of teacher's teaching creativity on the effectiveness of student learning. The method used in this research is a questionnaire method, observation, and also documentation. From the results of the correlation analysis, it turns out that there is an influence between the teacher's teaching creativity on the effectiveness of student learning. With this data analysis is continued with simple linear regression testing to find out how much influence the teacher's teaching creativity has on the effectiveness of student learning. The regression equation used to predict teacher teaching creativity based on student learning effectiveness is Y' = 19.6209+7.04316 X. This means that if teacher teaching creativity is increased to a value of 36, student learning effectiveness will be 26.66407 or 26.667%. And the value of R = 0.36%, indicating that 0.36% of the effectiveness of student learning is influenced by the teacher's teaching creativity.

Abstract

This project aims to explore how pedagogic capacity of teachers can be enhanced to address the issue of student underachievement including strategies beyond the classroom. The project will focus on classroom based teacher effectiveness research and inquiry, and its relevance to the development of public education policy: an Australian context. The research will identify distinctive features of teacher capability to generate a framework of teacher capabilities in the key curriculum areas of Literacy/Humanities, Numeracy/Mathematics and Science. Teachers will be asked to identify the extent of their exposure to and application of capability. The analysis will also identify central themes in participants' descriptions of pedagogue to understand practitioner conceptions of teaching practice in standards-based curriculum contexts. This involves identifying and marking out precise teacher capabilities, as alternatives to current reified ‘multivariate analyses'. The study also examines how and where schools and systems can take their planning and preparation beyond current standardized teacher effectiveness approaches towards specific capability-based opportunities for teaching practice to advance individual student learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is so that madrasah can develop students' literacy skills optimally as expected by the government, can improve students' ethics and knowledge. The research method in this research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data collection methods used were interviews and field observations. The results of this research state that the implementation of the School Literacy Movement in MI Muhammadiyah Gempolsewu in the 2022/2023 academic year is still very low. Indications of the implementation of the School Literacy Movement are visible, such as the existence of bookshelves in each class, but the existing books do not meet the standard number of school libraries. The ongoing literacy activities are not yet regular, they still run naturally in each class. In the lower grades, students enjoy reading before school hours. While the upper grades is more visible with smartphone facilities brought from home. A new finding in this research is the enthusiasm of students, especially the lower class, in literacy. They are 'thirsty' for books after not studying at school for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the upper class, students are introduced to digital literacy, where they bring their facilities from home, namely smartphones. This is to bridge the shortage of textbooks, introduce students to the internet, and use it for positive things. The main problem of implementing literacy at MI Muhammadiyah Gempolsewu is focused on the School Literacy Movement program which should be included in the madrasah curriculum so that its implementation can be directed and controlled.
