Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Product Quality and Service Quality on Purchasing Decisions at Mie Gacoan, Marapalam branch in Padang City (Case study of undergraduate students of Management at Unidha)". The population in this study were 414 undergraduate students of Management at Dharma Andalas University, Padang, with a sample size of 104 respondents. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires, then processed and tested using IBM SPSS Statistics 22. From the research conducted, it is known that based on the results of hypothesis testing, 1). Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, 2). Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, 3). Product Quality and Service Quality have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. Furthermore, the Purchasing Decision variable is influenced by Product Quality and Service Quality by 61.1%, which is classified as moderate, the remaining 38.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this study, namely Marketing Strategy, Lifestyle, and Purchase Interest.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital structure, sales growth and company size on the profitability (Study of financing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Period 2018 - 2023). This study takes a sample of financing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) whose financial statements have been audited. The research data of 13 companies and obtained a sample of 10 companies. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that capital structure has a positive and significant effect on company profitability, sales growth has a positive and significant effect on company profitability and company size partially has a negative and significant effect on company profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effects of live streaming and flash sales on impulse buying among students at Dharma Andalas University. The population consisted of Dharma Andalas University students with a known and fixed number. A total of 138 students were selected as the sample using a purposive sampling method, based on specific characteristics and criteria. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed directly to the respondents. The analysis was conducted using a quantitative method with IBM SPSS Statistics V21.0. The results show that live streaming (X1) has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying (Y), and flash sales (X2) also have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of store atmosphere and service quality on purchasing decisions at Cafe Ballad Beach Aie Manih Padang. This study used a quantitative method with data collection through a questionnaire. The study population was unknown and had 118 respondents with a sampling technique using the Cochran formula. Based on the results of the study and data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) shows that: (1) store atmosphere has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, (2) service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, (3) store atmosphere and service quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research is a survey research on students at Dharma Andalas University. This research is entitled "The Influence of Job Satisfaction and Motivation on Employee Commitment at PT Glorienta Panca Henna". The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of job satisfaction and motivation on PT Glorienta Panca Henna. This type of research is quantitative research and the data collection method uses a questionnaire. The population in this study were 57 employees of PT Glorienta Panca Henna. The number of samples taken in this study was 57 respondents. The sampling technique was Saturated Sampling. Based on the results of the research and data analysis using SPSS software version 25, it shows that: (1) Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee commitment at PT Glorienta Panca Henna, (2) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee commitment at PT Glorienta Panca Henna, (3) Job satisfaction and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee commitment at PT Glorienta Panca Henna.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research. This study aims to determine how the influence of work commitment and job satisfaction on the work loyalty of Airport Security unit employees at PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia Minangkabau International Airport Branch Office. The population in this study were Airport Security unit employees with a sample of 105 respondents. The sample collection technique used was saturated sampling technique. Data were obtained by conducting a questionnaire, then processed and tested using SPSS. From the research conducted, it is known that the results of hypothesis testing indicate that work commitment and job satisfaction have a significant effect on the work loyalty of Airport Security unit employees at PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia Minangkabau International Airport Branch Office. The results of the coefficient of determination show that the influence of work commitment and job satisfaction on work loyalty is 56.3%. while the remaining 43.7% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of Store Atmosphere, Product Quality, and Location of Kopi Rasa Padang coffee shop. The population of this study is consumers of Kopi Rasa Padang, whose exact number is not known. The sample in this study consists of 96 consumers of Kopi Rasa Padang. This research was conducted using a purposive sampling method, which is the selection of samples based on specific characteristics and criteria. The data for this study was obtained from questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. The analysis method used is a quantitative method using IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The results of the study show that Store Atmosphere has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decision; Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decision; Location has an influence that is not significant on Purchase Decision.

Abstract

This research is a survey study of students at Dharma Andalas University. This research is titled "The Influence of Social Media Use, Entrepreneurial Literacy, and Digital Literacy on the Entrepreneurial Interest of Students at Dharma Andalas University." The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of social media use, entrepreneurial literacy, and digital literacy on the entrepreneurial interest of students at Dharma Andalas University. The type of this research is quantitative research, and the data collection method uses a questionnaire. The population in this study consists of 2,147 students from Dharma Andalas University. The number of samples taken in this study is 131 respondents. The sampling technique used is Non-Probability Sampling with the Snowball Sampling method. Based on the research results and data analysis using SPSS version 25, it shows that: (1) The use of social media has a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of students at Dharma Andalas University, (2) Entrepreneurial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of students at Dharma Andalas University, (3) Digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of students at Dharma Andalas University, (4) The use of social media, entrepreneurial literacy, and digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of students at Dharma Andalas University.

Abstract

This research is a survey study of customers at the Rimbun Expresso & Brew coffee shop in Padang City. The title of this research is "The Influence of Product Quality, Price, and Service Quality on Purchase Decisions at the Rimbun Expresso & Brew Bar Coffee Shop in Padang City." The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Product Quality, Price, and Service Quality on Purchase Decisions at the Rimbun Expresso & Brew Bar Coffee Shop in Padang City. This type of research is quantitative research, and the data collection method uses questionnaires. The population in this study consists of people who have made purchases from the coffee shop Rimbun Expresso & Brew Bar, the number of whom is unknown. The sample size taken in this study is 100 respondents. The sampling technique suggests that the minimum sample size is 5 times the number of statement items in the research questionnaire. In this study, the total number of items is 20 indicators, consisting of 14 indicators for the independent variable and 6 indicators for the dependent variable. Therefore, the sample size for this study is 20 x 5 = 100. Based on the research results and data analysis using SPSS software, it shows that: (1) product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Rimbun Expresso & Bar Coffee Shop in Padang City, (2) price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Rimbun Expresso & Bar Coffee Shop in Padang City, (3) service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Rimbun Expresso & Bar Coffee Shop in Padang City, (4) product quality, price, and service quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Rimbun Expresso & Bar Padang.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed consumer behavior, including the increasing trend of online shopping through social media platforms such as TikTok Shop. This study aims to analyze the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM), Online Customer Review, e-Trust, and Lifestyle on Purchase Decisions through the Yellow Cart feature on the TikTok Shop application. The research employed a quantitative approach with purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 96 respondents residing in Padang Timur District who had made at least one purchase via TikTok Shop. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that e-WOM, Online Customer Review, e-Trust, and Lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, both partially and simultaneously. These findings provide practical implications for TikTok Shop sellers to effectively manage customer reviews, build consumer trust, and align marketing strategies with the lifestyle of their target market.
