<![CDATA[This study aims to produce a microlearning video product that can help teachers understand and learn good and correct teaching methods. Microlearning videos are chosen because of their ability to convey material concisely and effectively, making it easier for teachers to receive information quickly and accurately. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with a qualitative approach. The video production process includes several stages, namely material planning, scripting, shooting, video editing, and product evaluation. This research was conducted at UPT SD Negeri 067098 Medan. Based on the evaluation results, the resulting video was considered good and suitable for use for learning purposes. The results of the study indicate that the microlearning video produced can be an effective tool for teachers in understanding the concept of correct teaching methods. In addition, this video can also help improve the teaching skills of teachers at UPT SD Negeri 067098 Medan, as well as provide clear guidance in implementing effective teaching methods in the classroom.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity aims to apply play activities as a coping strategy to increase happiness in students at Sanggar Bimbingan Kampung Baru Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Play activities play an important role in supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. This program was carried out for one session with a duration of 90 minutes, involving 57 students aged 7–12 years. The methods used included creative games such as storytelling and singing, which were designed to create a fun atmosphere, train social skills, and provide space for free expression of emotions. The results of observations showed an increase in student happiness as indicated by active participation, cheerful expressions, and positive interactions between students during the activity. The results of interviews revealed positive impacts such as reduced emotional stress, increased self-confidence, and better learning motivation. Play activities have proven to be effective as a simple coping strategy that can be implemented in non-formal learning environments to support children's mental health and well-being. This program is expected to be a model for sustainable psychosocial interventions in similar communities.]]>

<![CDATA[The SATUSEHAT SDMK platform, developed by Indonesia's Ministry of Health, plays a crucial role in integrating and managing Health Human Resources (SDMK) data across the country. This platform enables healthcare professionals to update their personal and professional profiles and manage practice permits online. This article aims to examine the implementation and optimization of SATUSEHAT SDMK usage for healthcare personnel at the Health Office of Ponorogo Regency. The study involves an analysis of the registration process, practice permit applications, and data validation using SATUSEHAT SDMK, as well as challenges encountered by users at the regional level. The results indicate that using SATUSEHAT SDMK can streamline permit processes and improve the accuracy of healthcare personnel data; however, further optimization is needed, particularly in technical aspects and platform outreach, to enhance its effectiveness among healthcare professionals in Ponorogo Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[This socialization activity aims to increase the understanding of tourism managers on the banks of the Musi River in Palembang regarding ecotourism service standards based on local wisdom. The material presented included the basic concept of sustainable ecotourism, tourism service standards, the application of local wisdom in service, and case studies of the successful implementation of local culture-based ecotourism. The implementation method consists of seminars, interactive training, and group discussions that involve direct simulations in the application of tourism services. The evaluation was carried out through pre-test and post-test which showed a significant improvement in the understanding of participants after participating in the activity. Monitoring is carried out by observing the active participation of participants during the activity. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to understand the importance of implementing ecotourism service standards by prioritizing local wisdom as the main attraction. This activity has a positive impact in improving the quality of tourism services in the area. The resulting recommendations include the need for further assistance activities to ensure sustainable implementation and capacity building for tourism managers in a sustainable manner.]]>

<![CDATA[Roads are the main infrastructure that supports human life. When the infrastructure in the form of roads is good, then all community activities, from the economy, transportation, to equitable development can also be realized well. Sepinggan, South Balikpapan District, Balikpapan City is one of the cities in East Kalimantan whose road infrastructure is quite adequate. However, there is a road that does not have maximum lighting at night. Apart from poor visibility and increasing the risk of accidents, it also risks attracting crime. Therefore, members of the Balikpapan University KKN 2024 made street lighting at Posyandu Kusuma RT 58. The street lighting was made with solar power. Solar powered street lighting was chosen to maximize power efficiency. The methods used in these activities are identification, implementation, and achievements or outputs of activities. The people of RT 58 really appreciate the making of solar panel lights carried out by the 2024 Balikpapan University KKN team. The community's activities at night when passing through roads that already have cell panel lights become more optimal and productive.]]>

<![CDATA[The misuse of the internet among teenagers has become a major concern in this digital era, particularly regarding the spread of hoax news and cyber law violations. Therefore, a socialization program on the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE) was conducted at SMAN 1 Wirosari to enhance students' legal awareness in utilizing digital technology. This activity involved 90 participants, consisting of OSIS administrators and Class Representative Council (MPK) members. Through interactive lectures, discussions, and case simulations, this socialization successfully improved participants' understanding of UU ITE and its impact on daily life. Evaluations showed that after this activity, students had a better grasp of the importance of critical thinking and responsible digital media usage]]>

<![CDATA[The use of digital media in education is increasingly important to support a more interactive and interesting learning process, including in literature learning. This article discusses a community service program that aims to empower teachers in schools to utilize digital media as a means for more effective and enjoyable literature learning. Through training and workshops, teachers are given an understanding and skills in using various digital platforms, such as videos, learning applications, and e-books, to increase students' interest in reading and appreciation of literature. The results of this activity show an increase in teachers' skills in integrating digital media in literature learning as well as an increase in students' enthusiasm in learning literature. Thus, teacher empowerment through the use of digital media is expected to optimize the literature learning process in schools, as well as answer the challenges of education in the digital era.]]>

<![CDATA[This service aims to optimize road signs in Nalela Village, Porsea District, Toba Regency, to improve accessibility for the community. Accessibility is an important factor in regional development, as it reflects how easily people can reach public services and economic opportunities. The research method used in this service article is descriptive qualitative, by conducting direct observation, in-depth interviews, and data analysis to understand the real conditions in the field. The results of the service showed that although most of the roads in the village were well paved, the lack of clear road signs resulted in confusion among road users. In this work program, HKBP Nommensen University KPPM students designed and installed informative and easy-to-understand road signs. This service successfully demonstrated that optimizing road signs can improve people's understanding in using the road and reaching various facilities. Hopefully, the results of this service can be a reference for similar efforts in other rural areas in Indonesia, so that accessibility becomes one of the priorities in regional development.]]>

<![CDATA[This service aims to analyze the improvement of learning quality at SD Negeri 173653 Nalela through the application of additional learning methods. This activity was carried out by HKBP Nommensen University students involved in the Community Service Practice Lecture (KPPM) program. The research method in this service is a qualitative analysis approach. To obtain the necessary data and information, observations and interviews were conducted. Information is obtained from direct observation, interviews, and also documentation in the form of photographs of activities. The results of this service show that this program has succeeded in increasing student motivation and understanding of the subject matter. In addition, the social interaction that occurs in additional learning activities creates a more supportive environment, so students feel more motivated. However, the challenges faced include the long distance between each elementary school student's home and the KPPM Group IX pokso. This additional learning work program is strongly supported by the Nalela village community as parents of children who participate in additional learning. This service suggests that the additional learning program be expanded to include more students and actively involve parents and the community. With a comprehensive approach, it is hoped that the quality of education in SD Negeri 173653 Nalela can continue to improve.]]>

<![CDATA[Patient safety in surgical procedures is a critical element that must be addressed by medical professionals, including anesthesiologists. The World Health Organization's (WHO) Surgical Safety Checklist (SSC) is designed to enhance patient safety during surgery, but its implementation still encounters several challenges, such as insufficient training and limited resources. This study aims to improve anesthesiologists’ understanding and compliance with the SSC through the use of educational video media. The research methods involved socialization, video-based training, hands-on practice, and evaluation with a participatory approach. The participants were anesthesiologists who received a structured training session using videos that explained the SSC steps and emphasized its importance. Pre- and post-training assessments were conducted to measure changes in understanding and compliance.The results demonstrated a significant improvement in both the anesthesiologists’ understanding and compliance with the SSC after the training. The average understanding score increased from 60.5 to 85.3, while compliance rose from 55.2 to 88.7. These findings indicate that educational videos are an effective tool for enhancing anesthesia service quality and increasing medical personnel’s access to training. The study emphasizes the importance of technology-based education to overcome barriers related to limited resources and training opportunities. Based on these results, the study recommends the implementation of similar video-based educational methods in training programs for other medical personnel, aiming to improve patient safety across various healthcare settings.]]>
