Abstract

Al-Azhar 54 Islamic Elementary School Pekanbaru has used a new breakthrough, namely online learning based on Digital Classroom or also called learning with the E-Learning method to make it easier for students in their learning. Digital Classroom-based learning is learning that uses a device called a Tablet PC and uses special digital learning applications. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the effectiveness of Digital Classroom-based online learning for Islamic Al-Azhar 54 Elementary School Students in Pekanbaru and identify and analyze the Inhibiting Factors of the effectiveness of digital classroom-based online learning for Islamic Al-Azhar Elementary School Students Azhar 54 Pekanbaru. This study uses the theory of work effectiveness in the opinion of Richard M. Steers who uses 4 indicators, namely Organizational Characteristics, Environmental Characteristics, Employee Characteristics, and Management Policy and Practice. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. With data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The Effectiveness of Digital Classroom-Based Online Learning for Students of the Al-Azhar 54 Islamic Elementary School Pekanbaru has not run effectively and optimally. This is due to several factors that make the process of Effectiveness of Digital Classroom-Based Online Learning not yet effective and maximal because Teachers are not ready to carry out digital-based learning, there are still many students who do not understand or are used to digital learning and also several other factors that make learning digitally this is not optimal. So that further the effectiveness of Digital Classroom-Based Online Learning can run effectively and maximally, various aspects of the deficiencies mentioned above must be improved even better to achieve an effective and maximum learning.

Abstract

The study aims to describe how the application of the Pancasila student profile in strengthening the independent character of students and the strategies used by teachers to strengthen the independent character of students through the Pancasila student profile in grade IV elementary school students. This research is a qualitative type of research using qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires using research instruments, interview guidelines, and questionnaire sheets. The participants of the study were grade IV teachers and grade IV elementary school students at Kak Seto School, South Tangerang City. The results showed that the application of the Pancasila student profile in strengthening the independent character of grade IV elementary school students through habituation, extracurricular activities, and P5 activities. The strategy applied is the strategy of providing space and opportunities for students to develop and the strategy of building personal closeness to students. Based on the results of the study, the application of the Pancasila student profile carried out by teachers has succeeded in fostering the independence of grade IV elementary school students at Kak Seto School who have begun to act more independently.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how is the process of writing short story skills using pop up media for fourth grade students at SD Minasa Upa, Rappocini District, Makassar City. Rappocini Makassar City. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR), which consists of two cycles where each cycle is held in three meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class IV at SDN Minasa Upa, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The results showed that in cycle I there were 16 students who got low scores (50%), 4 students who got fair scores (12.5%) and 16 students who got low scores (50%). Whereas in cycle II 21 there were 26 students who got high scores (81.25%), 2 students who got fair scores (6.25%) and 4 students who got low scores (12.5). Based on the results of observation and evaluation, then it was concluded that the research was stopped in cycle II, the research target of 80% had been fulfilled. As previously stated that by implementing pop up media in class IV SDN Minasa Upa, Rapoccini District, Makassar City, it has increased and after seeing the results of the research that has been analyzed, it can be seen that the results of learning writing skills for class IV students at SDN Minasa Upa, Rapoccini District, Makassar City after applying pop-up media in learning writing skills it has increased. We can see this in the average value of students after the use of pop up media cycle I and cycle II increased from 50% to 81.25%. If it is put into a five-scale category, the increase in learning outcomes in writing skills increases from low to high.

Abstract

Chemical literacy involves not only comprehending chemical laws and theories but also understanding their applications in everyday life. One of the ways to enhance chemical literacy is by utilizing materials commonly encountered as teaching aids. “Jajanan Pasar”, a culinary heritage of the archipelago, hold considerable potential due to their distinctive colors. A literature review of various articles revealed the presence of secondary metabolites—natural dyes or pigments—from various plants commonly utilized as food colorants for traditional snacks. These include chlorophyll, flavonoids, betalains, and carotenoids. The unique chemical properties of these secondary metabolites offer potential applications in diverse chemical labs, including extraction, acid-base indicators, and renewable energy.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the head strategy schools in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an reading in Muhammadiyah Middle Schools 57 Medan. In this study, researchers used a type of qualitative research. This research was conducted by collecting data, namely through: Interviews, Observation and Documentation. The research results obtained are reading extracurricular activities This Qur'an runs smoothly and conducively. Extracurricular Activities Reading the Qur'an is also very important to be implemented first in the digital era which requires educational institutions to reproduce religious activities to help students at this time for more understand Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The learning of writing descriptive texts plays a crucial role in developing students' language skills. This article aims to investigate the effectiveness of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Project-Based Learning (PBL) infused with Minangkabau local content in enhancing the ability to write descriptive texts. This approach is directed at combining practical learning aspects with enriching local content in the effort to achieve optimal learning outcomes. By integrating PBL elements that encourage active student engagement and leveraging the rich Minangkabau local culture, this research seeks to measure the positive impact of this approach on students' writing competency achievement. The research methodology involves student participants from Junior High School level, who participated in a series of learning activities using PBL based LKPD enriched with Minangkabau local content. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and written tests. The results of this study present a PBL-based Problem-Based Learning approach for teaching descriptive text writing. The effectiveness of the LKPD was analyzed, resulting in a score of 83.21% with the category of "very good," as obtained from students' performance test scores.

Abstract

The use of the Google Classroom Application is a free online service for schools, non-profit institutions, and anyone who has a Google account, used for online learning media by students and teachers to stay connected both inside and outside the classroom and is an alternative used during the Covid pandemic -19. The results showed that the use of the Google Classroom Application reached 83.2%. This was evident from the results of the questionnaire data which reached 83.2% which was in the range of 81% -100% which was categorized as Very Good. Student understanding reached 76.4%. This is evident from the results of the questionnaire data reaching 76.4% which is in the range of 61% -80% which is categorized as Good. The influence of the teacher's use of the Google Classroom Application on students' understanding of the Indonesian language subject in class IX at SMPIT Al-Madinah Tanjungpinang, the calculation results obtained rxy = 0.4824 which is between values ​​(0.40 – 0.70). Thus rxy = 0.4824 is greater than r table at a significant level of 5% and a significant level of 1% (0.2352 <0.3060 <0.4824) this means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So the results of the correlation analysis show that there is an effect of the teacher's use of the Google Classroom Application on students' understanding of Indonesian in class IX SMPIT Al-Madinah Tanjungpinang.

Abstract

This article focuses on the use of the environment for learning to write poetry in children with character orientation using student multisensory. The aims of this article are (1) to find out the role of the environment in improving learning to write poetry for children with a character orientation (2) to improve poetry writing skills by applying students' multisensory abilities in elementary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique used is a literature study. Data validation was carried out by triangulating data sources. The results of the study are (1) the role of the environment in improving poetry learning with character orientation in children (2) an increase in poetry writing skills by applying multisensory abilities. This research needs to be considered in order to improve students' ability to write a poem that contains moral values according to the age of the children and to improve children's multisensory abilities through poetry writing activities.

Abstract

Inspired by the unique of Ahmad (pseudonym), a young researcher who has successfully published his scholarly articles in international reputed journals regardless of his only holding a bachelor’s degree from a private university in East Java, this study aims to document his untold stories in writing for publication using narrative inquiry. Narrative inquiry informs the design of this investigation as the approach is particularly useful for understanding lived experiences. Findings of the current study show that through the past stories of Ahmad in his scholarly journey, he passed several events that had shaped his identity as a productive researcher with several published scholarly articles in reputable journals, namely: embarking on research world by attending academic workshops on publication, gaining good references based on interests and reading scholarly works related to them enthusiastically, finding research interests based on reading activities, preparing manuscripts, having mentorship with well-established researchers in his research interest, navigating targeted journals by browsing and reading the author’s submission guidelines and its scopes, submitting the research draft, negotiating the long revision processes. From those steps Ahmad went through in the past, reading references from reputable journals has been emphasized by him. Several issues confronted him during his journey such as difficulty in gaining access to credible references and less optimal guidance from his thesis supervisor due to her less scholarly reading activities. These barriers could be addressed by Ahmad through his virtual academic socialization with the experts of his research interest.

Abstract

In erveryday life, we can’t be separated from the use of language as a means of communication. Language is used as the main communication tool for humans to express ideas, feelings, and desires. One of focus of the language learning in elementary schools that plays an important role is learning to read. Children will experience learning difficulties in the future if they don’t have adequate reading skills from an early age. This reading ability is the main basis not only for learning the language itself, but also for learning ither subjects. Children’s interest in reading activities can be habituated by carrying out literacy activities regularly and continously. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of scramble method to improve initial reading skills for class I student at SD Negeri Bugel. This research use a qualitative research design. The result of this research show that through implementing scramble method, class I students become more enthusiastic in learning so that their initial reading ability increases.
