Abstract

The main problem in this research is how to apply the EGP method based on audio-visual media to improve the ability to write short stories in class IX students of SMPN 3 Pallangga, Gowa Regency. This study aims to improve the ability to write short stories through the EGP method based on audio-visual media in class IX students of SMPN 3 Pallangga. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research). Research procedures include planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were 25 students of class IX 6 at SMPN 3 Pallangga, Pallangga Regency. The results showed that in the first cycle, out of 25 students, only 5 students met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) or were in the low category. Classically it has not been fulfilled because the average value obtained is 69.56%. Whereas in cycle II where out of 25 students there were 23 students who had fulfilled the KKM and classically it had been fulfilled, namely the average value obtained was 84.36% or was in the very high category. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the ability to write short stories in class IX students of SMPN 3 Pallangga, Gowa Regency through the application of the EGP method based on audio-visual media has increased.

Abstract

National education management in Indonesia as a whole still remains to be centralized, so that less encouraging democratization and decentralization of education. Basically, education management issues concerning the efficiency in the utilization of existing resources National education management is a neat strategy to overcome the negative effects of globalization. Hence strengthening it will steer globalization in a positive direction for the development of the nation. Centralized management system of education that has been proven to not bring significant progress to improve the quality of education in general. Even in certain cases, the centralized management of education had led to limit creativity in various types and levels of education.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how much influence cognitive development has on students' critical thinking in PAI subjects in elementary schools. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type with the aim of knowing the relationship between each variable. Involved 35 samples taken from grade 4-6 students at SDN Pelita Jaya by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale and making observations. In the initial findings it was revealed that there were some students who tended not to be able to maximize the level of their critical thinking power caused by inappropriate cognitive development. The results of this study indicate that the data normality test for variables X and Y using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov is fairly normal. With the results of the linear regression test showing that Y = 27,722 + 0.612X with a value of Fcount > Ftable, namely 27,289 > 4.14, the regression model is linear. While the R2 value is 0.453 which indicates that cognitive development affects students' critical thinking by 45.3% which can be categorized as rather low. Then the tcount > ttable with a significance level of 0.05%, namely 5,224 > 2,034 which shows that there is a correlation that is strong enough to make H0 rejected and Ha accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) a description of students' use of Gadgets in the Aqidah Akhlak subject of MA Asy-Syari'ah (2) an overview of the Moral Development of MA Asy-Syari'ah students and (3) the effect of using Gadgets on the moral development of MA Asy Students - Shari'ah Waluran. This type of research is quantitative research using the ex-post facto method. The research was conducted at MA Asy-Syari'ah Waluran, Kab. Sukabumi. In this study, the population was 112 students of MA Asy-Syri'ah. And taking samples using random sampling technique with a total sample of 24 students. The data collection technique was carried out using an instrument on the Gadget usage scale and the student moral development scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics to answer the problem formulation and inferential statistics using a simple regression test. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, the use of gadgets has a mean value of 81.41, while moral development has a value of 84.08. The results of a simple regression (inferential statistics) obtained an R2 value of 0.155 or in the form of a percentage of 15% and the remaining 85% was influenced by variables not involved in this research. This means that there is an influence between the use of gadgets and the moral development of MA Asy-Syari'ah Waluran students. Based on the significant test to analyze inferential statistics, the value of 0.008 <0.05 strengthens the hypothesis that the use of gadgets affects the moral development of MA Asy-Syari'ah Waluran students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of video scribe-based learning media on the results of student scores on fable text writing material for class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Medan. The research location was carried out at SMP Negeri 7 Medan. When the research was carried out in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects in this study were selected based on a purposive sampling technique, namely Indonesian language teachers and class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Medan. The object of this research is a form of social situation. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. In this study, observation and documentation were used to collect data. This study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques to analyze the data in the form of describing the process of the stages of video scribe media carried out by the teacher and describing the results of students' scores in writing fable texts after implementing video scribe media. Based on the results of the study after implementing video scribe media it was found that the results of the scores of 30 students, three students got a score of 75, three students got a score of 78.1, seven students got a score of 81.2, seven students got a score of 84.3, six students got a score of 87.5, three students got a score 90.6, one student scored 93.7.

Abstract

Errors in the use of conjunctions are still found in the headlines of the Padang Ekspres newspaper. The purpose of this study is to determine the type and quality of conjunctions used in the headlines of the Padang Ekspres newspaper. So, the method used is descriptive method. So that this study resulted in the use of conjunctions in the headlines of the Padang Ekspres newspaper having an accuracy of 90.4%. The implications of research on learning Indonesian in odd semester class VIII.

Abstract

Abu Rabi''s Islamic Studies Methodology is a topic discussed in several articles found. These articles discuss Abu Rabi''s thoughts and views on contemporary Islamic studies and the history of modern Islamic education. Abstract

The development of the science of development is slowly growing rapidly, more so in the western world based on the main base, namely rationalism, and empiricism. However, it is in contrast to the treasures of Islamic scholarship which stagnated due to differences in perceptions of accepting or rejecting science which only stems from rationalism and empiricism. Based on this anxiety, there was an effort made by one of the leading Muslim figures named M. Abid Al Jabiri who tried to construct ideas about the importance of the development of science in Islamic treasures with an Islamic epistemological approach. Therefore, this paper was appointed to reveal more deeply how the views of M. Abid Al Jabiri in the development of Islamic scientific treasures with an Islamic Epistemology approach so that with his view it provides a solution to confusion and adversity in the development of Islamic scholarship. This study method uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. Through this type of research, the author collects various references regarding the views of M. Abid Al Jabiri on Islamic epistemology which the authors then analyze and can finally produce a conclusion. The results of this study conclude that in M. Abid Al Jabiri's view, Islamic epistemology through Bayani, Irfan, and Burhani epistemologies is an answer to how important it is to use Islamic epistemology for the development of Islamic scholarship so that it does not lag behind the dominance of Western scientific development.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how the ANBK is implemented on the literacy and numeracy of fifth grade students at SDN Ganrang Jawa 1 and SDI Teamate. This study aims to describe the implementation of the computer-based National Assessment (ANBK) on the literacy and numeracy of fifth grade students at SDN Ganrang Jawa 1 and SDI Teamate.This type of field research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Research instruments include questionnaires, interview guidelines, and documentation. The sampling technique used Snowball sampling.The results showed that SDN Ganrang Jawa 1 literacy ability reached 1.45 and numeracy reached 1.43 in 2021, in 2022 the students' AKM reached 1.6 literacy skills and 1.57 in numeracy, there was an increase even though the AKM results were still below the minimum competency. While the results of the AKM in SDI Teamate in 2021 literacy skills reached 1.31 and numeration reached 1.42, in 2022 there will be an increase in literacy and numeracy skills, reaching 2.02. (literacy) and 2.34 (numeration), the increase has reached the minimum competency limit.Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there are differences in numeracy literacy, at SDN Ganrang Jawa 1 and SDI Teamate. The numeracy literacy supporting activities carried out at SDI Teamate in the form of literacy greetings, showed better results compared to the ANBK results obtained at SDN Ganrang Jawa 1 which only used the library and reading corner. This shows that the preparation of literacy and numeracy supporting facilities has an impact on increasing the results of ANBK achievements.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems in the field regarding the low learning outcomes of students in conventional learning, lack of utilization of facilities, infrastructure, and learning media, especially crossword learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of crossword learning media on the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students. The method used in this research is a quantitative method of experimentation with a quasi experimental design type nonequivalent group design. Data was collected using observation, pretest and posttest techniques. By determining respondents as a sample of 20 students using purposive sampling type. The results showed that both the control class and the experimental class conducted learning in accordance with the stages of the learning media used. Because the two classes were given different treatments, the results obtained were different. There is a significant influence on student learning outcomes between learning using crossword puzzle learning media and conventional learning. This can be proven based on the acquisition of the Independent Sample T-test test results seen from Equal variances assumed at the Sig value. (2-tailed) which is 0.000 <0.005, it means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Through the effect size test, it can also be seen that there is a big influence in learning activities using crossword learning media on student learning outcomes of 4.09. With that, researchers can conclude that there is a significant effect of crossword learning media on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Gekbrong 1 Cianjur Regency.
