Abstract

Media pembelajaran dapat merupakan wahana penyalur pesan dan informasi belajar. Media pembelajaran yang dirancang secara baik akan sangat membantu peserta didik dalam mencerna dan memahami materi pelajaran. Di era globalisasi dan informasi ini, perkembangan media pembelajaran juga semakin maju. Penggunaan Teknologi Informasi (TI) sebagai media pembelajaran sudah merupakan suatu tuntutan. Walaupun perancangan media berbasis TI memerlukan keahlian khusus, bukan berarti media tersebut dihindari dan ditinggalkan. Media pembelajaran berbasis TI dapat berupa internet, intranet, mobile phone, dan CD Room/Flash Disk. Adapun komponen utamanya meliputi Learning Management System (LMS), dan Learning Content (LC).

Abstract

Tujuan dari riset ini adalah untuk menguraikan proses pembentukan verba dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia, menganalisis perbedaan antara keduanya, dan menjelaskan implikasi dari perbedaan tersebut. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari sumber tertulis, baik yang terpublikasi dalam artikel, makalah, buku, maupun tulisan lain yang terkait dengan pembentukan kata kerja dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia, serta pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Metode pengumpulan data yang diterapkan mengacu pada pencatatan teknis. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis melalui pendekatan analisis kontrastif. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa pembentukan verba dalam bahasa Arab terjadi melalui modifikasi internal dan afiksasi, sementara dalam bahasa Indonesia, proses tersebut melibatkan afiksasi, reduplikasi, dan komposisi. Perbedaan yang paling mencolok antara keduanya adalah bahwa pembentukan verba dalam bahasa Arab selalu terkait dengan elemen waktu, kuantitas, dan jenis kelamin. Sementara itu, pembentukan verba dalam bahasa Indonesia tidak memiliki keterkaitan dengan waktu dan jenis kelamin, sehingga konsep semantik terkait waktu, kuantitas, dan jenis kelamin diwakili secara leksikal oleh kata kerja yang menyertainya.

Abstract

As we already know, language is something that can never be separated from everyday life. One of the functions of language is communication, because humans are social creatures, communication is very important. A statement or utterance put forward by someone can be said to be a speech act. In linguistics, speech acts are included in the science of pragmatics, where there are several types of speech acts, one of which is locutionary speech acts. Locutionary speech acts are speech acts that only express meaning or state something. In this research, the author focuses more on locutionary speech acts in the video "Compilation of 3in1 Folk Tales from Betawi" on the Dongeng Kita YouTube channel. The aim of this research is to increase our knowledge about locutionary speech acts and find out what types of locutionary speech acts are included in the video “Kompilasi Cerita Rakyat 3in1 dari Betawi” on the Dongeng Kita YouTube channel. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach and a paradigmatic approach. The data used in this research comes from the video "3in1 Compilation of Betawi Folk Tales" on the Dongeng Kita YouTube channel. The data collection technique we used in this research was listening to and noting the folklore video "3in1 Compilation of Betawi Folklore" on the Dongeng Kita YouTube channel. The benefit of conducting this research is that the public or readers can understand what locutionary speech acts are, and the examples. It is also hoped that it can provide an understanding that in folklore there is not only a story that can be enjoyed, but also many sayings that must be understood so that we can understand the entire content of what is being conveyed.

Abstract

Every day, humans are involved in communication using language. During the communication process, everyone in language is always related to factors that affect the smoothness of communication. Communication can never be separated from the name of speech acts, and to state something is called locutionary speech acts. The purpose of this study is to investigate the various locutionary speech acts contained in the narrative excerpts of historical novels contained in Indonesian language textbooks intended for Class XII Curriculum 2013. The research method used is a descriptive approach with qualitative analysis. The data used are narrative excerpts of historical novels from Indonesian language textbooks intended for grade XII students. Among the identified locutionary speech acts, statement speech acts are the most frequently used, with command speech acts and question speech acts also present. Through this research, a deeper understanding of the use of locutionary speech acts in narrative excerpts of historical novels contained in Indonesian language textbooks for class XII of the 2013 curriculum is obtained. This study are expected to serve as a guideline for developing Indonesian teaching materials that are more effective and relevant.

Abstract

Pragmatics is a language study that examines the speaker's intentions. If someone speaks positive speech, the speaker can also have a positive impact on what the speaker conveys, and vice versa. Speech acts have many types, one of which is directive and expressive speech acts. Directive speech acts are speech acts that can cause the speaker to carry out commands or directions from the speaker. These speech acts are also called impositive speech acts. Expressive speech acts are speech acts that express an action or psychological statement from the speaker, which can be in the form of joy, likes or dislikes, and sadness. The aim of this research is to describe directive speech acts and expressive speech acts, to know the functional categories of directive speech acts and expressive speech acts, to make it easier to understand the expressed and implied meaning, to know the difference between directive speech acts and expressive speech acts in book lecture texts. Indonesian language class In the Lecture Texts in the 2013 High School Class 11 Indonesian Language Teaching Material Book, the 2013 Curriculum is dominated by the type of directive speech acts (TTD), totaling 17 speech acts, and expressive speech acts (TTE), totaling 16 speech acts. This research is useful as learning material in the scientific field and also as a forum so that students can easily grasp and understand the meaning and meaning conveyed in a writing by the author and are able to hone their skills in analyzing directive speech acts and expressive speech acts.

Abstract

This research is a type of experimental research with the One Group Pretest- Posttest research design to see whether there is an effect of the PQRST method on improving reading comprehension skills of V A SDN Paccinongan Unggulan. So this study aims to find out: (1) an overview of the application of the PQRST method to improving reading comprehension skills of class V A SDN Paccinongan Unggulan (2) how to improve students' reading comprehension skills class V A SDN Paccinongan Unggulan after using the PQRST method (3) is there any effect of the PQRST method on improving reading comprehension skills of class students V A SDN Paccinongan Unggulan. The population in this study were all students of class V A SDN Paccinongan Unggulan, totaling 19 students. This sample uses a saturated sampling technique with a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, testing and documentation. Research data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential analysis. The conclusions of this study indicate that: (1) The application of the PQRST method (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize and Test) in the learning process goes very well, (2) Students' reading comprehension skills show an increase after using the PQRST method, (3) There is an effect of applying the PQRST method to improving reading comprehension skills of class V A SDN Paccinongan Unggulan Elementary School Makassar City.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the lack of short story writing skills in class V students at SD Inpres Kampung Parang, Eremerasa District, Bantaeng Regency. So the researchers used Bolding media (rolling balls). This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Bolding media (rolling balls) on the short story writing skills of class V students at SD Inpres Kampung Parang, Eremerasa District, Bantaeng Regency. The type of research used is an experiment in the form of Pre-Experimental Design. The data source in this research was 15 class V students at SD Inpres Kampung Parang, Eremerasa District, Bantaeng Regency. Data collection was carried out using the results of the assessment of short story writing skills. The data obtained was then analyzed using statistical analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. After analyzing the data, researchers found that student learning outcomes before using Bolding (rolling ball) learning media were relatively low, namely the average score of the Pre-test results was 58 .33, then the average value of the Post-test results is 85.67. After obtaining tCount 9.223 and tTable 2.14479, we get tCount > tTable or 9.223>2.14479. Based on the results of tCount and tTable, it can be said that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the use of Bolding (rolling ball) learning media is effective on short story writing skills for class V elementary school. Abstract

This research aims to develop literary comic media as a learning medium for middle school students, produce viable comic products, and determine the differences in the results of applying comic media in experimental classes and control classes. This research uses a Research and Development research design. The trial was carried out at SMPN 3 Medan and SMPN 5 Medan. This trial use used True Experimental Design class VII-D at SMPN 3 Medan and class VII-A at SMPN 5 Medan. The instruments given were a product needs questionnaire with 14 questions and a test with 2 questions. Data analysis used the independent t-test which contained a difference test between 2 independent samples and hypothetically used the Mann Withney test which found differences in the independent learning outcomes of junior high school students between using comic media and not using comic media. This is proven from the results of the Mann Withney test calculations, so it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes for junior high school students, and literary comic media is suitable for use as a learning medium. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used by related parties, such as teachers, students and future researchers

Abstract

Semantics plays an important role in linguistics, especially in terms of meaning or in other words, semantics is a branch of linguistics that studies the meaning of words. Semantic analysis refers to the user's language and culture. Even the same word can have different meanings or nuances of meaning when used. This difference in the meaning of words often causes differences and misunderstandings. In Indonesian there are words that are the same as the Gorontalo Regional Language. However, of course every word from the two languages has different meanings when viewed from a semantic perspective. This research uses a descriptive method to determine the comparison of Indonesian lexical meaning with Gorontalo language meaning. The location of this research was carried out at the BTN Pulubala Housing Complex, precisely in Pulubala Village, Central City, Gorontalo City. The data collection technique used by researchers is an open interview technique. From the research results, it was found that there are several words in Indonesian that are the same as the Gorontalo Regional Language, but have different meanings or semantic meanings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to represent the jargon of the "Partai Wong Cilik" (Party of the Little People) in political discourse leading up to the 2024 political campaign and to examine the forms of hyperreality present in the discourse of the "Partai Wong Cilik" jargon. The research method employed is descriptive with a critical discourse analysis approach by Teun A. van Dijk. The primary data used is derived from discourse texts published on the media platforms kompas.com and detik.com during the period leading up to the political year. Subsequently, the data is analyzed using Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis to examine the representation, symbols and signs, as well as the power used to influence, control, and shape social reality.Discourse is understood as a political context action in the "wong cilik" jargon within the information media. The research results indicate that Van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis reveals that the slogan, although directed towards positive representation, also serves as a symbolic power tool used to garner political support. The data shows that behind this identity narrative, there are political motives that emphasize party benefits and power, opening space for critical awareness of political identity dynamics and rhetorical strategies in a dynamic social context. This analysis illustrates that political discourse can create an exaggerated reality, inviting readers to question and seek further understanding related to the complexity and concrete reality and political symbols used.
