Abstract

Our team carries out community service for the Laksa Tangerang Culinary Association. The Tangerang Laksa Culinary Association is an association of Laksa Culinary MSME’s / laksa traders who sell in Tangerang. The Laksa culinary community is located at Jl. Mochammad Yamin No.113, RT.001/RW.004, Babakan, Kec. Tangerang, Tangerang City, Banten 15118.The aim of the Community Service Implementation (PKM) activity in simple bookkeeping training for the Laksa Tangerang Culinary Association is so that MSME’s are able to make their own bookkeeping so that they are systematic and orderly in carrying out financial records so that income, expenses and profits can be measured and know the development of their business.The method for implementing community service for the Laksa Tangerang Culinary Association is divided into three stages, namely the initial survey stage (interviews and field observations), the second stage is the implementation of training, and the final stage is the preparation of the final report and publication. The results obtained from this activity are that you can increase your knowledge and skills in running your business through simple bookkeeping/recording that is easy to apply, thereby increasing your motivation to work.Based on surveys conducted in the field, it was shown that the high level of business activities carried out by business actors was not accompanied by an understanding of the supporting factors in carrying out business activities such as simple bookkeeping so that business actors only focused on profits without paying attention to the supporting factors of the business. Based on this, MSME entrepreneurs need an understanding of simple bookkeeping to support business activities so that they can develop well in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of digital cafes in accelerating economic recovery in Tangerang City after the COVID-19 pandemic. Using a mixed method of interviews, surveys and analysis of local economic data, this research found that the adoption of digital stalls provides significant benefits in increasing market access, operational efficiency and consumer reach for stall owners, while consumers also benefit in terms of ease of shopping and access to a wider variety of products. The challenges and obstacles faced by digital shop owners are also identified, and efforts to support the development of digital shop owners as a motor for post-pandemic economic recovery are also discussed. In conclusion, this research provides valuable insight into the important role of digital cafes in supporting local economic recovery in Tangerang City, which is expected to become the basis for more effective policies in supporting the micro and small economic sectors in the future.

Abstract

Pangkep Regency is a district in South Sulawesi with quite well-known shrimp farming products. The animal protein content in shrimp is very good for children's growth and development and intelligence. Based on an initial survey conducted at the partner location of SDN 013 Padang Lampe, Ma'rang District, Pangkep Regency, it was found that many children did not bring their own supplies from home, they only relied on snacks available around the school. The aim of the service is to increase students' knowledge (i) regarding the dangers of consuming snacks carelessly, the benefits of consuming shrimp for growth and development and brain intelligence. improve students' skills (i) making shrimp meatballs which can be used as healthy and practical school supplies.The activity method is in the form of an educational program, as well as training in making meatballs. UMI FKM lecturers have carried out community service activities funded by the UMI Community Service Institute at SDN 013 Padanglampe, Ma'Rang District, Pangkep Regency on September 11 2024. This activity was attended by class 6 and accompanied by the class teacher. After providing education, there was an increase in students' knowledge (i) regarding the dangers of consuming snacks carelessly and the benefits of consuming shrimp for growth and development and brain intelligence by 86.7%. And student (i) was very enthusiastic about making shrimp meatballs, and really liked the taste of shrimp meatballs.

Abstract

The development of financial technology (fintech) has significantly impacted various economic sectors, including traditional markets. Despite many conventional market traders still relying on cash transactions and having limited access to banking systems, implementing fintech has the potential to improve access to capital and operational efficiency. This article discusses the socialization and training of fintech held at Kebayoran Lama Market, South Jakarta, aiming to enhance traders' understanding of using fintech for business capital access. Through initial surveys, socialization, and practical training, traders were taught about digital payments, peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, and financial management applications. The results showed increased traders' understanding of fintech, although there are still barriers related to device limitations and internet access. The article also identifies solutions to improve the sustainability of fintech usage in traditional markets, including government support and collaboration with fintech providers.

Abstract

This community service programme aims to improve the digital literacy of Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Wahid Al Wahyuni Sumberan Besuk students through training on the use of Canva as a graphic design medium. Based on initial analysis, students have low digital literacy skills, while the adoption of technology in learning is still limited. This training involves the introduction of digital literacy, Canva interface, to the creation of graphic design based on academic and non-academic needs. The training process includes observation, module development, interactive session implementation, and evaluation of student work. With a practical approach and hands-on guidance, students were introduced to graphic design skills, such as creating posters and infographics, as well as an understanding of digital ethics. The results of the programme showed an increase in students' skills in utilising Canva to support learning. This programme not only provides a direct impact in the form of improved technical competencies, but also contributes to the development of broader digital literacy skills to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PKM) occurred in Cabak Village, Tloguwunggu District, Pati Regency. This PKM activity aims to provide socialization about the benefits of lemongrass plants as medicine for preventing dengue fever. Participants in this PKM activity are the people of Cabak Village, Tlogowungu District, Pati Regency. This socialization activity began by providing material on the use of lemongrass plants as medicine including efficacious substances, pharmacological benefits in medicinal plants, and how to process lemongrass plants that are productive as anti-mosquitoes with the help of media in the form of leaflets and brochures to facilitate the delivery of information to the community. This activity was welcomed positively by the Cabak Village Community as seen from the feedback during the Q&A session. The results of the socialization can be seen from the increase in knowledge about how to use lemongrass plants as anti-mosquito drugs to prevent dengue fever.

Abstract

MSMEs have an important role in the Indonesian economy, but many have difficulty in effective digital promotion. The Canva application offers a practical solution for MSME players in creating attractive and professional visual content without requiring special design skills. This community service activity aims to train MSME players in Sambiroto Village, Tembalang, to utilize the Canva application as a promotional tool to increase sales. This training includes an introduction to Canva features, the use of templates, and basic design techniques that support product branding and marketing. The results showed that the training participants successfully understood and applied Canva in creating effective promotional content, increasing the visual appeal of products on social media. This increased understanding is expected to help MSME players expand their market and significantly increase the competitiveness of their products.

Abstract

Increasing family economic empowerment can start from simple things, things that can be done by people in the village by starting businesses that are simple, including what happened in Padi village, Gondang subdistrict. This service aims to help analyze the role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in developing the local economy in Padi Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, with a special focus on MSMEs processing fried onions. The method used in this service is a qualitative approach with observational interview techniques both with MSME actors in the Padi Village and with Mrs. Winayah as the owner of the Fried Onion MSME, and secondary data analysis. The research results show that fried onion MSMEs in Padi Village play a significant role in increasing local community income and creating new jobs, and according to the results of the SWOT analysis, Padi Village MSMEs have the potential to develop and improve if mentoring is carried out regularly and periodically. facing various challenges, such as limited human resource capabilities, marketing and technology. Efforts to develop MSMEs through government support and empowerment of local communities are identified as key strategies to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of these businesses. This Community Service Program is expected to provide a positive impact in innovation in shallot processing and product development, packaging improvements for a wider market, business management training, and development of marketing networks as important steps in supporting the growth of fried onion MSMEs in the Village. Abstract

In 2020, there were approximately 14,000 UMKM in Metro City. The most dominant UMKM products in Metro City are food products and handicrafts. The issue and focus of empowerment based on existing conditions is to guide UMKM owners to carry out promotional activities through social media, add logos, create banners with directions and add locations to Google Maps.This study aims to identify local potential that can be optimized to support UMKM development, as well as provide training and assistance to the community regarding the management of UMKM based on local potential. In addition, this study also aims to increase the capacity of the community in creating high economic value products from local potential. This study is expected to formulate a community empowerment strategy through UMKMs that is effective in increasing household income and welfare, as well as building a collaboration model between the community, government, and stakeholders to support the development of UMKMs in a sustainable manner. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a participatory approach. The results of the empowerment that we carried out were that business owners could carry out promotions independently, make packaging more attractive by adding logos and locations that were easier to find.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of community service is to encourage the development of culinary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the governance of digital business management. The digital era requires MSME entities to be able to adapt to digitalization as a form of business scale development. Digitalization can make MSMEs compete with competitors and emphasize branding in the digital realm. In community service at MSME Sate Bandeng Bu Aliyah which was carried out on November 12, 2024, assistance was provided regarding digital business management governance which includes social media marketing, digital financial governance, digital business management to digital-based product branding. The success of this activity can be seen from the increasing knowledge and understanding of the owners and staff of the culinary MSME Sate Bandeng Bu Aliyah Serang Banten. From the results of this community service activity, it is known that the owner of the culinary MSME Sate Bandeng Bu Aliyah has been able to carry out digital business management governance well with a success rate of 80 percent so that it can strengthen the scale of business development.
